Everything was AMAZING!

We booked 3 rooms. 2 out of the 3 were ready much earlier than we expected which was great! We found it a little funny however that the rooms upon arrival had another guests name on the welcome TVs and also had a sparkling juice with card to this person also. Kids got a kick out of it and we were calling ourselves the Bishops for the day.
We did an overnight staycation trip with 4 teens and 2 adults. At time of booking and also at a check in call two days prior to arrival we had requested that at least 1 of the rooms to have double beds and the request via text was granted, or so I thought, however upon check in that was said to not be possible due to the ‘holiday weekend’. We managed so no biggie there.
We made use of pool, teens enjoyed. Pretty bar/restaurant atmosphere across from lobby. Super fun signature cocktails!
We filled out a breakfast card to hang on door for morning breakfast room service and had a few missing items upon arrival but staff was attentive and quickly fixed the errors. Overall we loved our stay. I cannot get enough of the front desk ceiling and the overall beautiful decor! Only suggestion we can make is the mattresses were a little on the overly firm and lumpy side but ‘cest la vie’! Thank you Langham! Your hotel is exquisite and the staff are amazing! We look forward to our next stay!

We’ve stayed here many times before. Overall great. Club level was very nice and service was good. My only issue was trying to order a bottle of champagne when we were at the pool. After waiting over a half hour, I cancelled the order which they acknowledged but 10 mins later, they tried to deliver it…45 mins aince the order was placed. By that time we were packing up to leave for the spa. On top of that, they tried to still charge me for it even after they said it was cancelled. Very strange. Also the condition has gone down just a bit.

This is a gorgeous hotel. I wish I was able to stay longer to explore it more. The bathroom is incredible. The technology with lighting and tv is top notch. Everyone was kind and helpful. It’s on a great location.

Nice hotel but the sound proofing is quite poor so bring your ear plugs. The staff was not of the quality that we expected from a hotel of this stature. Just a ‘meh’ experience, not worth the elevated rate.

I love staying at the Langham when I'm in Chicago. Location is great; hotel services are lovely; rooms are updated and comfortable.
I did have one small problem this time, though. I stayed in a club-level king room, and for some reason, I was able to hear everything happening in 1 or more of the rooms around me. I'm not sure if it was coming from upstairs or next door, but neighboring patrons were having a conversation at 1:30 a.m. on Saturday morning, and I immediately lamented my lack of earplugs. While I remedied that issue for my Saturday night of sleep, I really shouldn't have to rely on earplugs to help me not hear my neighbor's convo in a 5 star hotel. This hasn't been an issue when I've stayed on other floors of this hotel, so I'll be sure to ask for something other than club level for future stays.
The Chuan Spa is amazing, and I highly recommend making time for at least 1 service while you visit the Langham.

I loved, loved, loved my stay here. I stayed with my 2 young children and they had a blast. The pool was great and they have a “Kids Suite” it’s for smaller children but my 5 & 7 yo enjoyed it too. The staff gave us paddington bear cookies for the kids it was something small but my children were so delighted by such a small gesture. 10/10 recommend and definitely will be staying here when we return to Chicago in the near future. Chicago is definitely a vibe and the proximity to river walk is so convenient.

We dropped off a suit for dry cleaning the morning of our arrival and told them we needed it by 7pm the following day for a dinner reservation. They informed us that would be no problem at all. After confirming at 4, that it would be in our room by 7, we waited until after 7 and it still had not arrived. We were told it was being sent up and on its way. 7:15, still no suit. We went down and spoke to the front desk who said it was still on its way. Finally arrived at 7:30 making us late to our reservation.
I would never expect this experience and service at a 5 star hotel. It was completely inexcusable.

I had an excellent time. However, the end of my message felt rushed, which was disappointing. Also, my soaking tub was not thoroughly cleaned, which put me off because of the cost of my stay; otherwise, everything was great.

If I could give this amazing hotel 6 stars, I would. My husband and I visited Chicago for the first time and were fortunate enough to book our stay at The Langham. It was one of the top two best places we have ever stayed ( the other was in Turks and Caicos). Starting at the moment we walked in to the moment we checked out, it was a first class experience. From the exceptionally clean rooms and common areas, with contemporary decor and finishes to the amazing food and beverage choices, we were highly impressed. Topping all of this off was the amazing staff-yep, truly outstanding. Location was perfect, totally walkable to most things you would want to see in the city center. Gorgeous views. Stellar experience.
