I have stayed in Istanbul Marriott Hotel şişli for few weeks. I had one of the best services ever, very clean rooms and best views, a great Lobby area, food was excellent. On the Top of all that the staff were very friendly and helpful.
I would like to thank them all, Specially the Duty Manager Kemal who assisted with few minor issues that i had, and the guest relation Aygun who was very helpful and friendly, and at the reception desk I have to personally thank all and specially ( Sima Yildirim, Erhan, Serpil, Kaan, Emre, BahAdir and Nurcan the Managers and Ali who checked me in. And I’m sorry I couldn’t remember some of the other staff’s names.
Highly recommend Hotel mainly because of the lovely service from the staff.
I would like the management kindly email the staff and praise them for their great service and hospitality skills.

I have stayed in Istanbul Marriott Hotel şişli for 25 days. I had one of the best services ever, very clean rooms and best views, a great Lobby area, food was excellent. On the Top of all that the staff were very friendly and helpful.

One of the best hotels in Istanbul. Location is the best.safety is excellent..All Staff are very polite and helpful specially Mr Ogulcan in the reception who helped us a lot at the checkin . The breakfast is nice . I decided next time to stay in this hotel.

The receptionist, named Kerem, was rude and unwelcoming. Furthermore, the condition of the property was subpar, with worn-off furniture. This experience does not justify a 5-star rating, and improvements could be made, possibly at a more reasonable price

The staff here are just doing their job here. Nothing more or less. I was not treated with any different as a gold member of hotels.com and a gold elite member of Marriott. Like not even a welcome or drink of water at reception. Marriot is a scam 5* will never support them again and will revok my gold elite status with them.
Hotels were old like they been washed repeatedly gif 10 years. Room service was lousy. Mattress was terrible. Etc.

The staff were great. The facilities were excellent. At the guest information desk Boushra was most helpful with my mother and very friendly and insightful on where to go and get around in Istanbul. Ahmet who I met at the Starbucks and serving area was very attentive to my parents and overall the staff gave us an excellent impression and comfortable stay and showed us great use of the facilities of the Marriott. Hands down best hotel for the area.

Not a 5 star for sure, rooms are very small for the price they charge . great view but windows extremely dirty, breakfast and coffee in lobby are expensive and not worth it .

Breakfast expensive, not worth it , ordered in lobby 2 americano coffee with milk , not only they charge $5 for coffee, milk is extra $2.50 to put it in your coffee, not seen this anywhere and I travel a lot .
Rooms are small, windows very dirty, blocks the great views. It is located at the top of street not so desirable area.

Great spot. 5 star feel. If you want the 24 hour room service, great gym, pool, service, food etc., then this should work well. Rooms are comfortable, clean, modern. Bathroom was clean and beautiful. Only room downside was moderately dirty carpeting, but I’ll take moderate dirt over no carpet, which seems to be the way most İstanbul and Turkish hotels in general, are moving. Super quiet on the 33rd floor, not sure about others. Could only faintly hear prayers if I preened. Staff are top of the line. If you don’t need the extras though, there are plenty of small hotels for cheaper but same comfort and cleanliness. Such as TomTom Suites

DON'T EXPECT MARRIOT HOTELS' CLEANNESS AND COMFORT at this hotel.
The location is good, staff are very friendly and do their best to answer all your questions. and needs, good room service, safe, walkable to shopping areas, good breakfast but you have to pay extra for breakfast.
My biggest complaint is about their bedding! Awful!
You feel like your bedding is set inside a zip lock bag!
Every night I had to sleep in a plasticy unbreathable sheets and uneven mattress.
About the shower, the color of the tiles inside the shower is dark with not much light, so you cannot tell if it is clean or not.
The main need of staying in a hotel in big cities like Istanbul is a place to shower and sleep. Unfortunately, this place does not provide any of them. I won't go back to this hotel again.

The carpet in the hallway wasn't clean.
Our shower was leaking we had to move our room.
The staff that brought our luggage to our room on my first day was insulting.
At breakfast time, staff were arguing a lot, and I could understand the language wasn't relaxing and they tried to overcharge me, but I cut it. I was never going back to this hotel anywhere in the world.

I booked two suits following the photos I found on Expedia and it was totally different from reality. The two suits has two small windows 80cm by 80 cm!!! I felt like in a prison !!!! I asked to change the suits but they said the hotel is full!! For the price I paid $320 for a suit per night it is not worth it. The cleaning is too bad. I asked to change the bed sheets but they never did and when I ever I aske them why they didn’t do it, they just say we did it. This is not a Marriott category hotel. One more thing, they are using very cheap stuff (toilet paper, shampoo….)

It was an amazing :11, nights. The staff were amazing and friendly. Everyone cares about you. I was on business trip and I have enjoyed the stays. Definitely I recommend this hotel and whenever I’ll visit Istanbul I’ll stay in the same hotel again and again.
