Stayed here for 8 nights (for work). Rooms are dated, grungy and dirty. Dirty linen - specially the towels looked like they have been used to clean the floors. Staff were friendly and always willing to go the distance to help you out. They should invest money towards getting new linen, giving the rooms a fresh coat of paint.

Moderate mid star hotel conveniently located. The staff though helpful were not exactly friendly. The buffet breakfast is overpriced with limited number of items for the amount charged. Overall a decent place for a short stay

Great place convenient and close to the ocean. Transportation and shopping all in walking distance. Hotel does not provide shuttle service to and from airport, as appears in the Expedia. They arrange transport at $37 either way.

The staff are superb and the neighbourhood is very convenient. Apart from that, however, there is little reason to stay here when there are so many other options in Colombo. There was no corridor lighting on our floor, which made it feel more like a low-cost apartment complex than a hotel. The wifi was spotty, though the technician was very helpful and had it up and running as fast as he could. The breakfast is not very inviting (that's putting it generously), and is almost the same price (US$10) as at the nearby Granbell, which is fantastic and has an excellent view. The pool is tiny but serviceable (with a very friendly lifeguard), though the floor it's on is very run-down. (Strangely, one of the posted rules is No Swimming, though it's probably good that another rule is No Peeing and one more is No Acrobatics.)

Booked this hotel specifically because it says they have a gym...They DO NOT! They also don't have a spa, you can't access the roof or use the pool due to construction, and the WIFI was so bad you can't use the TV because the signal constantly drops out. The bed was comfortable but that is the only positive about my stay.

A very nice property. The management just need to look into minor issues. For example the refrigerator in my room was out of order. The guy knew, so instead of replacing it, he just brought another one and put it in the room. The breakfast is of poor quality. Juice is made not in a juicer but in a mixer by adding sugar syrup and ice. They don’t know how to prepare dosas. Most breads, 3 types all have sesame seeds. Why cannot you have just one with sesame. Those with allergy to sesame cannot have any of those. Billing takes ages, they quote in US$ but then instead of taking payment inUS$ they spend time converting to SLR and charging in Lankan Rupees. They do not have any power points in the rooms for charging devices or the kettle. You have to unplug the bedside lamps to charge your devices and use the kettle. Management needs to provide multiple power point adaptors.

Good hotel in a decent location. A couple of stains on the bedsheets, mentioned to management, hopefully this is resolved in the future

It’s a 3-Star hotel good for a short 1 or 2 day stay.

I will write my experience. 1. When we checked in the staff in the counter was friendly. But several mistakes. We have been offered a double room instead of the premium room with 3 beds, I had to requested and showed my booking. 2. No fridge in the room, only 2 towels and 2 tea cups, which I have requested for 3. 3. Toilet was filling too slow, shower was leaking. Requested maintenance to fix it. 4. We had the offer for room with breakfast for 2. Every day staff told us there was no offer for breakfast in the offer given to them by Expedia. There were poor communication between the hotel and Expedia. Very frustrating. I will never come back here or recommend to anyone. However, staff was friendly and very obedient.

Reservation was for a friend planning to visit US Embassy early in the morning. I have stayed there myself several times and have been totally satisfied.

it is not far from the council of the city and you can buy sth you need nearby, but the condition there is like a motel and a little bit old. like a 2 star hotel.

Everything is a bit past it’s best. There is no longer a proper restaurant, the pool has tiles missing and a dirty watermark around the top, there was no spa, the gym was really smelly and dirty. The breakfast was good however the rest of the food was really not good. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Service was very poor. Waited over an hour for 2 drinks. An hour for a fruit salad and ice cream. Paid the extras the next morning then phoned and asked to pay again. Paid at the hotel for airport shuttle and then the driver ask for fare again at the airport. Stone dust as work going on at the entrance. Hairs found between the bed, was disgraceful. No one seemed to know what the other staff was doing. A piece of marble fell off the wall and hit my toe. Was looking for somewhere nice to stay before flying home but ended up stressed by this place. Nice view of the Colombo skyline. That was all.

I feel the value for money is not that well as rooms were large but the quality is not upto the mark. Bathroom pot had issues. Pool area is amazing and the view from there is quite nice. Overall, it can be made much better if they focus on fixing the issues in the rooms/bathrooms. The quality can be much better. This can help them reach 5 star services

Did not get the room that I paid for. First said they can't give the refund. then said no change in room price. Then offered me fruit platter. I said give me complimentary breakfast and they said no. After I had settled and unpacked room service came to give me the proper room but it was too late. Also, if you are planning to work remote during night time, wifi is very bad. No one could hear me on a voice meeting on the other end, just be aware

Amazing hotel in a great location. Only a short drive into town and a shopping centre walking distance. The rooms are great, clean and large showers and beautifully comfortable bed. No issues, would stay here again and recommend it. Ps. Has roof top pool and bar.

Our room was spacious, the bed comfortable, the breakfast fantastic, the exercise room outfitted with good equipment, and the staff was extraordinary, especially Sam. We comfortably walked around the neighborhood, and found a few terrific restaurants and shops.

Central location for a very reasonable price. Walk to Galle Face Green, Liberty Plaza, 1 Galle Face mall. Staff was incredibly helpful. Bathrooms had rain shower head and spray in case you prefer more pressure (which I do). Beautiful pool - didnt get to take advantage of it due to the rain, but lovely. Restaurant was delicious - would have preferred if there was more local cuisine but there are plenty of options for that nearby.
