The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff is efficient. You can access a bigger pool in the connected hotel which is very nice as well. On our first days, the hot water was not working but was not a big issue as weather was hot. The bed and pillows are great!! Very good price for value hotel. I recommend!!

The Good: the building, the room, the air conditioning, the hot water in shower, the food. The Bad: upon checkin we are informed that if we stain the sheets we will pay a fee to clean them. That's just rude. Entering the room, sewer smell, like other guests have commented. Covered the drain with the wet rug helped. Mold all over the sink area and floor area of the shower. Was nice they had a faucet near the entrance to motel as there is mud holes everywhere. Walk to the beach, is muddy road. No gravel to fill holes in the road by owner. Wont return to hotel again, also wont go panglao again. Beach had a junk house nearby, 40 pump boats anchored just off beach, dog poo everywhere.

Great hotel, lovely staff, nice big rooms, close to the beach. Only downside is the walk down a dark road at night.

the place is clean, bright, new and very inviting. To be improved: the food orders took a while to get to the table, and the access to the main road is not fully lit at dark.

Beautiful place, very clean... as soon as you open your door it smelled so fresh inside. Close proximity to Main Street and Alona Beach but still secluded and private.

My girlfriend and I really enjoyed our stay at Amihan. The rooms are big and clean, the beds were extremely comfy, breakfast was good and staff were able to answer any of our queries. The owners dog's are great too! The only thing that could be improved is the smell of the drains in the bathroom, it wasn't awful but there was a constant smell coming from them, we ended covering them with floor mats when we weren't using them which seemed to do the trick. Overall we would definitely recommend and would book again if we ever came back to Alona.

Very good option to stay close to aloha beach (5 min walking). Big and clean rooms, food is quite good at a reasonable price. Nice staff

Place was really clean and quiet. Bedsheets and bed were wonderful. Breakfast great too. There’s a shortcut to the beach so only about 4 minutes. A little dark to walk the path at night but manageable l.

Staff and front desk are all friendly and accommodating. Food is great! My only complaint is the smell in the bathroom. You could smell the sewer, it’s terrible. Hopefully this can be fixed soon so you won’t lose customers.

The room we had was huge, with very efficient air con, big TV, comfy bed, big seating area and balcony, all very clean. Loved the pool, which was also very clean, with loungers to hang out on and the restaurant right by it. Breakfast was cooked fresh exactly to my order. There were also some really cute and friendly dogs who hung out around the reception area. Only a very short walk to the beach and all the bars, restaurants and shops in the Alona beach area. The only thing to bear in mind is that at the moment there is some construction work going on next door, which was noisy early in the morning. Clearly that wont go on forever, but if you are at all concerned, I would ask ahead about it.

Excellent hotel with great pool. Fantastic food and drinks with friendly staff. Only negative is a 6 min walk to the beach. If at night this is an issue as it is not lit.

Bed bugs & horrible smell of sewage which started coming out the drain all over the bathroom floor! No internet in the room only in restaurant. Other than that good.....

Not bad but it wasn't the best, i would stay here if i want to save some money but i rather spend more and get better resort. Swimming pool is very smaller than what it looks like on the picture but the food is very fresh and tasty. The beach is very close overall the location is good.
