Perfect for what we needed, great location, and the basics of a bed and a bathroom.

The property on Expedia is shown as a 7.5/10 or a 4 star hotel sometimes. But in reality it’s a 2 star hotel…but it’s the best 2 star hotel you can get. Staff is extremely respectful and understanding and helpful. Very nice place to stay at if you aren’t going to be in the hotel all day. Location is nice, lots of bus stops nearby and food areas just down the street. Once again very thankful to the staff team there and very much enjoyed the family rooms, very cozy and fitting.

Value for money

Affordable and comfortable stay, with friendly staff! The location of the hotel was perfect- walkable distance to shops and transport services. The room itself was clean and spacious, and was provided with basic amenities. I would definitely stay again!

Room is too, too small!

Good have done with bigger towels, only had one each and that was a hand towel.

Room is small but clean

It is really bad it’s supposed to be car park Free and with the Wi-Fi and charge me £25 for the car park and and the Wi-Fi didn’t work there wasn’t a reception not even signal, you can’t even use the phone there because of the signal I had my kids with me. We couldn’t even use the TV because like I said there wasn’t Wi-Fi. I’m advising other people to not got there, please and do not waste your money.thanks

Perfect hub for a London trip. Close to Paddington area, but still in the quietness of the Hydr Park. Nice personal. Good price for the offer.

Cheap and close to Paddington Station. Room was hot in the summer although there was a wall mounted fan. Bathroom sink made was far too close to the toilet, I'm not sure everyone would be able to use it! Nowhere to put toiletries. It was fine for me for two nights but I wouldn't book again due to the bathroom.

Cleanliness and condition is poor but it’s cute for a one night stsy

Don't know how much of this review is fair- as the price for the location was really good. However, the room was so uncomfortable. When my son and I arrived the staff were really friendly, and even said they had upgraded our room for no extra cost- I wish they hadn't. It was very hot in London, and the fan provided in the room was not fit for purpose. The main issue, however, was the bed. The single bed in the room was so uncomfortable, and the headboard was not secured, so the bed rocked and made a lot of noise every time you rolled over. We got no sleep.

the hotel was very accessible to the metro and train station. there were a lot retaurants to choose from around tge area. the hotel is old but just okay for the price we paid for.

The bathroom ceiling was leaking from the upper room. Small room for 4 but well located.

Hotels in London are very expensive, especially traveling with a family of five, but I wonder if I should have taken a better hotel anyway. Positive of this hotel is the location, very close to Paddington station and Hyde Park. But we were five persons in a very crowded room, without A/C, without refrigerator, a tiny bathroom, three floors up without elevator, and beds which we did not get much sleep in in this heat. But it was a hotel room for five people, at a price which for London was probably reasonable.

The stay is comfortable and the service is very nice.

Rooms are small but satisfactory. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The location is ideal as Paddington station is nearby, as is Kensington Gardens and many bus stops. The gentlemen of the front desk were friendly. The surrounding area is also very enjoyable. It’s quiet but there are some good restaurants nearby.

Very bad smell and not clean

I work as Building surveyor Multi Trader and stay in 30 - 50 hotels a year. For a 2 star hotel. Alot of other hotels could learn a great deal. Fof the room Rate which in its location is very reasonable. Also the staff were polite friendly professional & attentive. Excellent location in Paddington London. 3 mins walk to main high street & restaurants pubs shops. The room was spotlessly clean. Nice comfortable bed very peaceful at night. Dark curtains to block out light. Excellent wifi. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Photos of the rooms are not accurate to what you receive. Was very disappointed when we first got in to our hotel and the state of our room. The staff were very nice and moved us to a a slightly bigger room but I wouldn’t want to stay here again, i understand London is expensive but our floors weren’t vacuumed, the first room had a bad smell and no ac just a really old fan. The bathrooms are so small and stuffy was horrible having to try and use the washrooms

Friendly staff and convenience of location we needed to be in

Worked well for it being a cheap place when I needed somewhere to stay last minute, I'd recommend for people who are needing somewhere to stay in London that isn't the typical London prices. Staff was very kind too. Thank you for a safe night. Booking in and out was hassle free

Hotel receptionist was a very friendly gentleman. Told me where local shops were and where to eat. The room was well presented, very clean ,no mould or things broken.There were even USB ports in the double socket!! Lovely and quiet too, which in london is hard to find. I booked last minute and I wasn't expecting the hotel to be so nice, considering how cheap it was. I was upgraded to a double room,with no extra cost. Would definitely stay here again.

First we had a small room at the top floor, but with our condition it wasn't possible to walk all those stairs every day. So fortunately the next day there was a slightly bigger room available at the first floor. From there on out no issues. Staff was friendly and helpfull. Rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable and slept great. What I didnt mentioned to them was that the bedding from the room at the top floor had a blood stain on them. That was not pleasant and i slept with just a sheet. Other than that no issues. Keep in mind no stairs, no refrigerator, the hotel is outdated, but you get what you paid for. Overal we very much enjoyed our stay.

Small room and very compact bathroom/shower, but clean and comfortable, and good value by comparison to other hotel quotes in the area. I was happy with my 2 night stay.
