Be mindful to check in time for the lockbox code. I have missed this and an email the night before as well as an Expedia message wasn't answered. Also, no answer on the phone during the day and no return call but finally we managed at 4 pm to get hold of somebody whilst ready escalating the issue to Expedia.

Good place to stay next to airport.

Simple and Perfect for early flight layover! Would stay again!!

We had difficulty checking in, it was really warm in our room. It just seemed expensive for basic amenities.

I was unable the access the room until 8:30 pm. I was tired and hungry and upset because I had booked it and paid in full more than a month beforehand. I did not receive the email with the access information. I eventually had to pay $20 to make a phone call that was unnecessary if the companies who already had my money had followed through with what they had committed to do..not impressed. I will post a negative review.

We bookended our trip with stays at the iStay Cottages and we're very happy with our stays. We didn't receive our info ahead of time as expected for which cottage we were in & our code but calling the associated number addressed that issue. Outside of that, they were easy to access and exactly what we were looking for.

Overall we had a pleasant stay. The cabin was comfy and warm, all things new and pristine. There's 8 cabins in total and only couple share a bathroom, which was very clean and new,, so it was never occupied and not an issue. Kitchen was clean and all was new + complimentary coffee and tea. Great new clean showers as well. The shared counter/fridge is also worth checking before your trip to grocery store, there was many things while we stayed. 10/10 recommend. Only issue was that we had not received the pin code beforehand, but when searching for the number and havin called them, they quickly responded and gave us the pin. Tip for others: do check beforehand you have receiceved the pin and check the shared kitchen for pasta/spices before shopping. Their phone number is a bit hard to find, but found it after some Googling.

The cabins are extremely convenient if you need to catch an early flight. The place was quiet, the shared bathrooms extremely clean. Didn't get the opportunity to use the kitchen, but the space looked well equipped. The field of purple flowres behind the cabin, a definite bonus.

I didn’t get the email with the code to access the property. We arrived at midnight and there was no help.

Loved the cottage. Spacious and clean and convenient to the airport. Will book again for my next trip!

Washroom handle broken, can't lock the doors

Absolutely loved this place. Clean and modern.

Check in was problematic, didn’t receive email with information and the phone number provided by the property to call with issues was not connected. An hour later (in the rain), after contacting Expedia, we were able to check in. Once checked in, the room was nice, modern and clean.

It is reasonable for the price. Kitchen is for everybody to use. All in all, okay.

Check in was terrible as they didn’t send us the info like they said they would (email 48hrs in advance). Not the only ones to experience this apparently. With no cell service to make a call, we had to get Expedia to contact them. Shared bathroom means a communal one for all cottages to share. Cottages are much closer than they appear in photos. You can hear what neighbors are doing - thankfully there was only one other group of travelers. Facilities were clean. Parking was a breeze.

It was definitely a different way to spend my evening and night while in Iceland for my layover. Completely enjoyed it!

Modern, clean, simple cottage with plenty of space and well-designed furnishings. The best shower we had in Iceland! There's a common area with a limited kitchen. No staff; you just check yourself in with a key and a lockbox. The town itself is very small, and everything closes early, so be prepared! Very, very convenient to the airport for early morning flights.

Very conviennent for night before flight

Really great place to stay on the last night of our holiday. It’s clean, quiet and extremely close to the airport. The privacy was idyllic. We e enjoyed the self checkin and Would definitely stay here again.

Definitely need work on Wi-Fi. Cabin is not sound proof. Can hear everything outside Check in is not too easy since no email received.

Enjoyed a beautiful 4 day stay and would just have liked instructions for coffee maker and TV programming :) Us foreigners need help sometimes. Thanks so much for a lovely stay close to many beautiful Icelandic destinations.

It was a lovely modern cabin. Perfect for an overnight stay before an early flight. Great communal kitchen and it looks like hot tubs might be installed soon. Huge TV. Large shower with shower gel. We did not have enough time to explore local town sadly. Recycling options unclear. Would stay again.

Great place no dislikes, everything we wanted..

Simple but very comfortable and attractive, in nice setting.

It's self-checkin, no people there, you need to have your assigned room# and pin to get your room key. We arrive there in dark, the Good map led us to a wrong place - a camp site(also no service people at the camp site) So it took us half hour to get to the actual iStay Cottages.

Great option when coming on a late flight or leaving on an early one and need to stay close to the airport but still far from city and have a unique experience. Cute, very clean, simple, comfortable and actually spacious, not tiny. Contactless check in is a breeze.
