The location was excellent. Very close to the nightlife for the young people in our group as well as shopping and whale watching.

It was difficult to find parking on the street. We parked in the lot behind the building and across the street. It was fine for us but we had to pay aft 10am. It is also on the fourth floor. Quite a haul with suitcases for some.

Awesome and huge, very pretty and comfy flat, very spacious for our group of 7 people (and 2 bathrooms). Very comfy beds. I loved it and will happily stay there again. Next door or virtually next door there are several wonderful cafés, restaurants (huge scale of prices and quality), pubs, shops, consert hall/pub with live bands, , big and good art gallery, whale watching tours, beautiful hiking trail by the beach, theaters (we're Icelanders), cinema, bank, mail office, liquer store. Free parking in a super good parking lot after 4 pm on workdays and all weekends (there is another free 24/7 free P option). Not far to a super ski resort (with ski rental). I'll happily stay there again with the family or friend group for a 2-3 day trip.

( Look first at what I loved, it outweighs the cons). 4 floors up. No escalator. Great if everyone is in good health and with light luggage. Not if you have a bad knee or something. Noise in weekends from 2 (nice) pubs next door. We had silicone earplugs and love nightlife, so we were fine :)

We had the most exciting experience at your accommodation. Personally, it is by far the most convenient, pleasant, cosy and beautiful house-neighborhood I have ever visited. This place not only met our expectations but it also overcome them. I would certainly recommend it to anyone and trust me, you place is a very good reason to visit Akureyri again, for more than one night. We are all extremely excited and pleased because it also came with a very reasonable price! Overall a perfect experience and stay.
