We rented the two story condo for a family trip. There were 5 of us, all adults. The condo was lovely, clean, with multiple balconies. It had the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. It was clean and cool with AC. The owners were very responsive and accommodating. I could not say anything bad about this listing. We had a wonderful stay there and would return again!

What a wonderful place for our family to stay for our daughter's graduation from McGill. Fun location, lots of space and we loved having breakfast on the rooftop deck. I would highly recommend!

Parking was tough to find...unless you speak/read French. House had no directions on how to use the TV or coffee maker. Killed several big black ants...but it's that time of year. Loved jacuzzi tub and shower though.

This was a good find! The place was true to the photos, very clean, well appointed with basic supplies, and super comfortable beds. Check in and out was easy. The host responded quickly when we had questions or difficulty working with a his digital lock. The wifi worked very well. The unit was quiet, even though on a big street with bus traffic. We were very pleased with the quality of the linens, and the location was excellent! Near cafes and restaurants, walking distance to transportation, and so close to a nice walk up Mont Royale. It would be nice to have night stand with reading lights in all the rooms. but there were more than enough ceiling spots. The oven is a little tricky in terms of temperature. (only used it once). Deck is wonderful but unfortunately it was too cold to make use of it. Would rent again in the future. Nancy L

I would love to recommend this place because the facility itself was large, clean and mostly true to form. Unfortunately, the experience I had with the host went from bad to worse when I was informed on check in that there was no parking availabe even though it says parking on site. He acknowledged the issue but there was no compensation for all that we had to do to find a place and then pay to park. It got worse when there was a noise complaint (it is a duplex with an apartment below and noise carries like you wouldn't believe) when our teenagers were loud (unknowingly) watching a movie the first night and monkeying around as teenagers do. We were threatened with police/security/eviction! We left a day early because the rest of the stay was no longer a vacation for me as the host did not respond to my apology/questions/requests, until I got VRBO customer service involved. This experience has made me never want to use VRBO again. Good luck!

Nice place, quiet city sounds, didn’t use outside loft deck (weather) but it was nice with a gas grill, my daughter and her friend both 18 loved the stay as well.

I came here with 8 of my friends and we had an amazing time! Great location with many bars and cafes in walking distance. The host was super responsive and the place was very clean and stocked when we arrived. We had a wonderful overall experience!

The two floors were spacious. The apartment was very clean. The kitchen was well stocked with everything. Four bedrooms and three baths made for a good stay!
The neighborhood was great with lots of stores. Very conveniently located to get downtown, to Mount Royal, and Mile End. Daily parking available on the street using City parking kiosks. The property manager was very responsive.

This is a great property, very functional and well located, walking distance to bars, cafes and restaurants. Great communication with Mana ( host). The apartment is very clean and organized. Easy to checkin and checkout. Our only concern was about parking, since most of the places closes early and on the weekends. Parking on the streets are restricted. ***We found a parking garage that gave us an access code, and we were able to get in and out after hours and during the weekend. Great location, but the main shower doesnt have cold water. Its was scalding and made it difficult to use.
Nice place but you definitely get the sense it is not really lived in.
After I booked and paid the host company really seemed a bit uninterested in the quality of our stay.
It was fine though, just nothing too special here other than the location.

Beautiful place right in the heart of the Plateau, very close to St. Laurent with all the shops and nightlife. Check out 'Iberico', the little Spanish restaurant right around the corner - outstanding!
Clean, well appointed. Comfortable beds. Back patio is a nice place to hang out. Definitely a great find for a visit to Montreal!!!

A fun family gathering and great time in the kitchen together. We shopped at Marche Jean Talon and Bon Secour, plus small shops in the neighborhood. Thanks to the grill and the well-furnished kitchen, we made some great meals together.
Furnishings were just like the photos and the area is a lot of fun.
Climate control was a bit an issue.who would guess that a Nest thermostat would start the heater in 85• weather?
Communication with owner was pleasant and with prompt response. The management of the unit is with a property manager, who had an automated system that didn’t work as well as intended.
Overall, a great base in Montréal.

The townhouse was very spacious with 4 bedrooms with bed and desks in each, a large kitchen, and a nice living room. We enjoyed breakfast on the rooftop terrace. The neighborhood has a great selection of restaurants and it is near the attractions (you could walk, but it is a long walk). We never had any trouble parking, but we did have to be careful to park on the correct side, which changed sometimes.
We did have a few issues (it wasn't cleaned for our arrival, one of the showers didn't work) and the management company worked quickly to resolve them. They even took the time to mail an item we left behind.

A few graduate school colleagues and I met up in Montreal for a weekend trip to commemorate 30 years since we met. The house was very nice and location was great. However, 5 days after we checked out, the host contacted me about a broken screen door. I assured the host that we did not damage the screen door. In fact, we took great care of the house since we are all homeowners and professionals that respect other people's properties. I was charged for damage that we did not cause. I spent over an hour on hold waiting to speak with a VRBO agent on the phone. The agent informed me that the host has the right to charge me for damage if able to prove that damage was caused after my check-out time. The host had a photo of a damaged screen door. However, that does not prove that my group caused the damage. Anything could have happened in the 5 days after we checked out to the time the damage was reported to me. What was a very pleasant stay turned out leaving a very bad impression of the host and of VRBO's policy. I will not be using VRBO for future travels.

We loved staying at this property. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us to have our own bedroom and common space where we could spend time together. It was easy to either walk or Uber anywhere we wanted.
For future visitors: it might be helpful to note that this apartment spans the upper two floors of a row house: one staircase up to the common space and 2 bedrooms, and another set of stairs up to the kitchen and another 2 bedrooms.
All in all, we loved our stay. The owner is easy to communicate with and very responsive. This was perfect for us!

Great place to stay with friends to be out and about exploring the city. Location was in perfect proximity to Mount Royal and surrounding neighborhoods. Old Montreal and the Port was an easy and fast BIXI Bike ride away (rent a block away) which made navigating and exploring the entire city a breeze.
The host had excellent communication, responded almost instantly to all my questions and was extremely accommodating with early checkin and holding our bags for us after checkout.

This apartment was perfect for our family of 2 kids < 5 years old. It even had enough bedrooms for my mother-in-law to come stay with us for two nights. Exceptional location near Mount Royal, playgrounds, tons and tons of restaurants and bars. Close to a grocery store. It really had everything we could have asked for in an apartment and the roof deck was just wonderful to enjoy those warm June evenings with a bottle of wine.

This was a very easy rental experience. Hosts are friendly and available. The photographs are very representative of the actual apartment which is well equipped and comfortable. The neighborhood is ideal for walking from the apartment to quality pubs and restaurants. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the apartment.

Our family met up in Montreal this week so that our parents could spend time with us and the grandchildren. The 4br, 2 1/2 bath apt made it easy. It was clean and very well-appointed, felt new and modern. The appliances are brand new, furniture was clean and fresh, the bathrooms and kitchen were clean and seemed recently renovated, there was air conditioning, detergent and paper towels/toilet paper were provided, linens on the beds were fresh and clean, lots of bath towels, all the utensils and dishes and cookware you might need, a good coffee maker, and good WiFi. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet and across the street you face the side of a church so it feels private even with the shades open. It truly was convenient to shops, cafes, parks, banks/atms, a good bus (#55 if I recall right), Mont Royal, Schwartz’s smoked meats and Cafe Pi for chess, and lots of beautiful murals that the area is known for. This week the street was under construction so parking was not available and we parked in a garage about a 15min walk away fir $20/day and left our car there all week. We were able to walk everywhere or take a bus or Uber. We recommend this place for families or groups of friends. It was easy—the kind of place you want when you wish to spend time with each other and explore the city without running to the market for supplies when you arrive or worrying about the details. It’s all taken care of. Thanks for a great stay!

The location and property were perfect for my group of guys this weekend. The kitchen and terrace area was beautiful for dinner and cooking our own meals and slept everyone super comfortably. Host had excellent communication and was very attentive to our needs and requests! Would recommend this place to any group traveling to Montréal. Thank you again

We enjoyed staying in this home. It was in the same neighborhood of who we were visiting, giving her access to us and us easy access to her place. It was well equipped with dishes and a comfy area for TV watching. The bedrooms are nice and private, with comfortable beds, one has an ensuite.It is walking distance to Mt. Royal and if you are good walkers...Old Port, but you might want to Uber it back.The best part was the out door porch...a lovey place to sit either for a meal or just morning coffee with a book in the sun! A nice surprise in the city! We sat out there for dinner the first night till curfew...10:00 PM.The worst part was dragging the suitcases up and back down the stairs, especially to the 3rd floor. We were VERY lucky with parking, however that also could be an issue.We would recommend this home and the owner was great to work with.

The property was great for our group of 7 women. The location was great with restaurants and the park around the corner. The metro stops were about a 15 minute walk and the bus stop was literally out the front door. The beds were super comfortable and the showers had great pressure. The air conditioners worked very well and kept us cool even when the temps were in the 80s. We really enjoyed hanging out on the terrace. Yuris was easy to communicate with and recommended a great steakhouse that we enjoyed on Saturday night. She was also helpful when we had parking questions. Because our stay was Thursday evening thru Sunday, we were able to park right in front of the house the entire stay. Only a few suggestions for improvement. Some of the bedding is starting to look a little worn, still acceptable but approaching replacement time. We could not figure out how to use the umbrella on the terrace (and we are relatively bright women), instructions for that would be helpful since we did have to cut some time short on the terrace when we didn’t have shade and it got too hot. It would also be helpful to have information in the house on exactly where the metro stations were and how to get to them. It took us some time to figure that out. All in all it was a great stay. The house suited our purposes well and Montreal was a fun city to visit. I would definitely recommend this property for other groups.

A group of friends and I had the pleasure of staying at Yuris' place for a bit of reunion. The house was large enough, everything was clean and communication with Yuris was easy. Check In was clear and the digital locks were a great help.The top deck was great and was basically our home base for the weekend. It was hard to find a place with a large outdoor area and this one fit our needs perfectly. If we ever have a group that size again, we'll definitely be heading back to Yuris' place!

We had 12 people stay for a long weekend, and the apartment was a great size. We all doubled up (2 per bed), so there was just enough sleeping space without feeling cramped. Multiple bathrooms made it easy for us to get ready in shifts for a night out. Kitchen had a great deck space and a large table that we were able to gather around for breakfast and lounging. Location was also great for the activities we had planned, with multiple grocery stores and cafes within minutes walking distance. The property housekeeper met us upon arrival and was very nice. She walked us through the whole apartment so that we knew where everything was. The only issue we had was with the AC on the second floor. Upstairs worked great, but the downstairs system had a hard time getting going. Luckily, there were plenty of windows and balcony doors to leave cracked at night for cool air. I will say that the property manager was always available via phone, and the second we noticed an issue with the AC she did all that she could to assist us. Overall, it was a great place for a great price. I would definitely stay again if I come back to town with another big group.

This property had everything I imagined and more. This beautifully renovated home had a gorgeous kitchen, beautiful modern bathrooms and had a very fresh new vibe to it. It was like walking into a New York City type condo. Walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants and bars was a plus. Plenty of free parking made things so much easier as well.
If you're looking for a little getaway to either take in a hockey game or just visit the city, this is the place to stay. The price was right and I much rather stay this beautiful home than a hotel.

Very nice place to get way for few days. The Penthouse at the gate of mount looks just like on the pictures, very clean and beautiful. It is very quiet place, I did not hear a single noise which I was looking for at the beginning. I did not have hard time to park my car in Montreal for the first, so that was a big plus. I will go back to this place again, but next time with some friends because it is a lot of space and beds. I will recommend to anyone who is looking for a luxury, and spacious place in the heart of Montreal.

Wonderful location and a great amount of space. Our family had a grwat time relaxing in the family room with a big screen TV and enjoying a meal in the spacious kichen. It was a pleasure dealing with theirry the owner and would definately stay there again,

Our group of university friends from Ontario and the East Coast wanted to reunite in Montreal for a weekend, so we decided to rent an apartment instead of staying at a hotel. This was my first time renting, and it was the best decision that we could have made! The Penthouse was beautiful, clean and spacious enough for 9 girls to comfortably stay. The beds were comfy, the kitchen was stocked with the necessary pots and pans for cooking, and rooftop terrace was fantastic as well. The space was more suitable for visiting than a hotel would have been and it was much less expensive as well. The location was great – there is a grocery and liquor store within walking distance (5 minutes) which was very convenient. We were interested in shopping on St Catherine’s street which was only a short cab drive away (the cost was appx $10.00) Tierry was a fantastic host – he quickly replied to any inquiries that I had and made us feel very welcome. I would certainly highly recommend this rental property.

We had a lovely time at this apartment. We were a family of four, two adults and two children. The apartment is in a very trendy part of Montreal, with the lovely Mont Royal park in one direction, and lots of interesting shops and restaurants in the other.
It is a long (3-4 km) walk to the commercial centre, but Montreal has good public transport, so as long as you can figure out how the buses work, you can get anywhere very easily. The city bike share scheme has bikes nearby, which is good if you are a group of adults (no use for children).
The kitchen had everything we needed to cook for ourselves for a week and there was a good supermarket just over a block away.
The only reason we haven't given the apartment the fifth star was the shower. It was not a stand up shower, but rather a handheld shower head in a roomy bath with no shower curtain or screen. For us, if a description says there is a shower, you should be able to have a stand up shower.
Check in and check out was very organized, with a combination code to access the key, which was good, as we had to leave for the airport at five in the morning, so didn't want a complex checkout process.
