Excellent location, cleanliness.

After entering to the basement suit to find out that bedroom door was locked. Upon contacting,the property manager advised to try ourselves to unlock the door. We couldn’t. Then he booked us to another similar property at 20 minutes drive. We spent the night there and were advised next day to comeback to the same property as handyman had opened the bedroom door. Bedroom was decent except there are no electrical sockets by the bed even the side lamps are there for mere decoration purposes since you can’t turn them on. We also discovered that bedroom door was getting locked as door is closed. In short theses issues may sound small but are enough to turn the short stay irritating.

It is a basement suite but with very tall ceilings lots of light and well decorated it doesn’t feel like it at all. The unit has its own washer dryer and the beds are very comfortable. There was only mild noise from the next door and upstairs neighbours.

We were only given 3 very small towels for 5 of us. When I phoned for more I was granted access to the supply cupboard on which I managed to find two more old looking towels but that was it. The kitchen is not terribly well equipped and the dishwasher didn’t wash well. The toilet also took a good 15-20mins to fill the cistern and would not flush between slow fills. These were all minor issues and I would definitely stay again.

We had a really unfortunate experience here, the suite was dirty on arrival that evening and hadn’t been cleaned at all, everything still there from the previous guests. The team said they’d try to call a cleaner, but it was night on a long weekend and we had to scramble to find a new pet friendly hotel for our family. It was also not as described. There is a regular door between the two lower suites so we could hear literally everything from the group next door, and see them walking around under the door. It was very loud, not what we expected, and not ready for our stay. It became a stressful experience to get a refund, had to involve booking.com (who were great) and really dampened the family gathering we were attending by us having to figure this all out instead of just having the time to enjoy.
