The check-in process was really slow. They would not let my daughter check-in. There were now pillows or blankets for the pull out couch. The hallway carpets were stained and dirty. The room was overall comfortable and clean.

The Hampton Inn Downtown Indianapolis across from Circle Center was a very nice hotel. Check in and out was very easy. We stayed during a very busy time, but they did a great job. It is an older hotel, so there were some things you could tell needed worked on. But otherwise it was a great location and experience.

Hebe at the front desk was friendly and informative. Valet went smoothly. Room was clean. Great location. Good price. Highly recommend.

Hotel cleanliness is 7 out of 10. We booked a room with 2 beds, we get to our room 1 bed. Go back downstairs and explained. Clerk said is was our 3rd party fault. I said no, I have the reservation confirmation & showed it to him. He 1srsaid sorry, we dont have anything else. I said its not our problem. Find us a 2 bed room. After a lengthy wait, he found one. After an hour we finaly got in our room.

We enjoyed the walk ability. Loved that it was so close to Gainbridge Arena. Staff was very nice esp the breakfast dining aide

Well, they didn't have the room i booked so i had to go to a smaller bed. The bed was bad,lumpy. No parking except a 40 dollar valet. The valet left my hazards on , luckily i noticed out the window or i would have had a dead battery the next day. The next day the valet said 20 minute wait. My car was literally 100ft around the corner. Ended up grabbing my keys and getting it myself. Only thing this hotel had going for it was location

Everyone was great. Room clean, staff wonderful. I know it’s an old hotel, but the only thing was that strong odor of disinfectant or fragrance used I’m assuming for the carpets, that was a bit overwhelming

The hotel’s carpet is filthy. I was concerned to walk on it. At least this is true for 5th floor, common area and room 511. The dust was unbelievable at the side table and windows you could not see out of due to dirt. Very sad I paid 300$ a night for 2 nights

This property was great for us. We had an event at gainbridge fieldhouse and it took us two minutes to walk there. Very convenient. Beds were awful. Not comfort at all. Didn’t sleep well. But I honestly loved everything else about the hotel…

Stayed here twice now. Was wonderful for the eclipse in 2024 and stayed again with another good stay a few months later. Staff is attentive and friendly.

Great staff, all very nice and courteous. Room needed remodeling, especially the bathroom. Tub had some nicks and small rust spots and commode was loud when flushed. Room was noisy, HVAC system was loud. Refrigerator made noise constantly. Room size was marginally adequate but rather small. Everything was clean. Hallway carpet was being shampooed the second day of our visit. Bottom line....room was acceptable, and we would probably stay there again but it's definitely not a "10".

The hotel is very nice and the rooms give a great view of the Indy skyline. As in all American cities, downtown is filled with homeless.

Hampton Inn was the perfect stay for graduation. It is located near several restaurants and attractions. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Highly recommend.

The hallway on every floor had stained carpet. A complete turn off. It wasn't lightly stained there were heavy soiled stains from the time you stepped off the elevator all the way to the rooms. Surprisingly the rooms are clean but the hallway carpet on every floor is nasty.

Great option to stay in downtown Indy, 5min walk to the convention center. We had a lot of fun getting around on escooters. Lots of dining options, easy walk to the park and other nearby tourist attractions. Would stay here again.

It was great, convenient and breakfast was excellent.

I’ll start with the positives. The bed was very comfortable. I had a corner room suite and it was very spacious. Towels were also good.. soft and big. Location is great for activities in Lucas oil arena and the convention center. Negatives. Lots of street noise especially on weekends. There is a night club across the street, people yelling in the street, cars blasting rap and motorcycle groups blazing by. Hotel is very tired and needs a complete remodel (including some of the front desk staff). It’s on the edge of depressing. We stayed 4 nights. The 4th night our used towels were taken away and garbage emptied but that’s it. No bed made, no new towels. Coffee maker in the room must have cost all of $5…cheapest, rickety thing I’ve ever seen with cheap paper cups. There is a free coffee/tea stand in the lobby all day long which is a nice touch but coffee is meh. Ceramic cups in the room would be a simple but welcome additon. There is a breakfast. It’s very simple, not very appetizing. Cheap paper plates and plastic flatware. It’s a nice try but everything is as cheap as it can get with no consideration to make things esthetically pleasant. I asked for a late check-out. I was even willing to pay for half a day. Two night staff said impossible because they have a complete turnover the next day. The next morning I spoke with the desk staff and I commented how quiet the lobby was after the last couple days. He said it was really slow. Hm

Our room was on a very busy and noisy street. In addition, the air conditioning unit was so loud that it sounded like you were in a wind tunnel every time it was running. You couldnt even hear the TV over it. Parking was $40 a night in a lot that was five steps from the hotel. They preferred gratuities be made electronically rather than cash and then charged a "convenience" fee for using the online gratuity process.

Room was very big. Breakfast was excellent. I scraped my ankle on the bed and the staff gave me cleanser, antibiotic cream and bandaid.

The hotel was very clean. It is an older hotel that has been remodeled. Our rooms were clean. Beds were comfortable. The shower is amazing. Breakfast was abundant and fully stocked during the time of operation.
