We were pleasantly surprised at the beauty and accessibility of this hotel. So easy to get to, quick, and close to the MVP Arena, secure check in, valet parking close to the entry, lovely furnishings, comfortable beds, couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Hotel is clearly old and you can smell it when you walk in. The only elevator smells like feet and my room smelled like a nursing home. Very clean though.

Crystal was so kind at the front desk. She was truly amazing. They literally gave amazing customer service, were incredibly hospitable and would absolutely stay there again.

The bed wasn’t up to the usual Hampton Inn standard. You don’t have to remodel every 2 years like some hotel chains but please check condition of items like beds and replace them as needed. Room 1019 would be a good place to start. Also, one of the cleaning staff looked annoyed with us as the elevator door opened and she saw us. She mumbled something, didn’t move over and the elevator left. Hard during the morning hours when it was busy, and not good service.

Had a beautiful 3 days at this hotel. It was so central to everything. 15 min walk to capital state buildings. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was well presented and quite nice. Would stay again.

I booked this hotel specifically because of location and laundry services as strange as it sounds. I was taking a short trip where I would be needing to do a few loads of laundry. When I checked into the hotel, there were no laundry services and no laundry rooms. Clearly stated on Travelocity that had laundry services. Altered my entire trip. Sucks!

Pleased with my stay here. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Valet-only parking lot. Hotel itself is a bit outdated but clean. A/C was very loud, had to turn it off at night. Great water pressure in shower - and hot water was very hot. Good free breakfast.

Everything was gorgeous, great location , friendly staff. My friend and I went to go to breakfast and in the elevator there was feces , we told the front desk person and when we went back upstairs the big turd was gone but the diarrhea on the floor remained. They needed to shut the elevator down and deep clean. Not acceptable. Breakfast was good but many fruit flies were around.

The hotel itself was nice. We hardly use the hotel because we went to a concert and came back and left the next day. The lady that served breakfast was very kind. However, the rest of the customer service is awful since the trip I have tried to contact the company, many times with no response. You had to pay for a valet to park your car when I got my car back. It smelled so bad like marijuana. I still have the smell in my car and I’ve tried to get it out. No one from the hotel will answer my concerns about this being a problem. I am very disappointed that nobody can return my calls. We have more stay planned In Albany for other concerts and will not be staying there again, which is unfortunate.

Front desk clerks were excellent... bed was uncomfortable, hotel itself seemed to have been remodeled quickly and not very well. First time to Albany. Had no idea that there was literally nothing there. Not walkable, no restaurants, didn't feel safe. Recommend staying 30 miles up the road in Saratoga.

A conveniently located downtown hotel for a stay in town. The staff has always been very pleasant and helpful every time I’ve stayed at the hotel. An added plus is the broad array of food and drink establishments on Pearl Street, the next parallel to the hotel’s street. I know I’ll be back.

Our shower was leaking and hard to close.
There was a sudden fire drill late at night and we had to walk from the 10th floor in my nightgown and slippers to outside of the hotel because there was a fire in the restaurant.

Room was clean, bed was comfy. AC turns off in the middle of the night which made it uncomfortable to wake up during. Room entry doors slam shut and make terribly loud noise which caused us to be woken up at 6am and did not allow us to fall back asleep.

&18 for parking, not aware of it. 75. For a dog. However no dog park in the hotel or grass area. We had to go 2 block to a park. The spanish lady at check in was rude. We wre given only 1 key for the room, had to go and ask one for my wife. Not to mention the 11:00 pm fire alarm evacuation. False alarm. Breakfast was the only good thing over all.
We will not be going back again.

In the middle of my sleep everyone had to leave their rooms for a so called fire drill...It was 11pm, the staff said nothing about what was going on. The lobby of the hotel full with people tried and asking what's going on. Not one staff said anything. This went on for 30mins couldn't go back to sleep after that.

The only complaint I had was the breakfast. We stayed Sat night until Monday. On Sunday there was probably over 300 people at breakfast. There was only 2 people preparing breakfast. They were running themselves ragged and could not keep up with the demand. Also, the eggs, sauysage and potatoes were microwaved so it wasn't the best tasting.
Everything else about our stay was great. Very clean, beds were comfortable and staff was friendly

Very average. Location is excellent. Airco very loud but did the job. Breakfast very basic. Room for 4 with 3 towels and 1 mini shampoo does not feel welcoming.

The hotel was fine, a little bit run down and in need of some updating, but it was adequate. The main issue was that the shower dripped continuously and the water in the shower was too hot to comfortably shower. Unfortunately, no matter what we did the water temperature could not be adjusted to a comfortable temperature. In addition, the hot water in the sink was extremely hot. We heard a woman in the room next to us warn another person in the room not to use the hot water in the sink because it would get really hot. Evidently, the water temperature issue was not just limited to our room. We only stayed for one night, but we could not shower during our stay. I informed the person working at the front desk of the hotel about the water issue upon checking out.

This hotel has been a nice place. Its location was ideal for taking walks near the city center. The employees of the front desk were very polite and professional.

Hotel felt secure and safe. I got the "standard room" with no microwave oven. I was a little disappointed because the reviews led me to believe I was getting more, but I guess the suites cost more than $200. Valet parking costs $17. No other place to park. Staff was friendly and room was clean.
