Excellent location and lovely hotel. Only gripe was not enough staff at 5pm and had to wait a while to get a drink from the bar. A little tip for future us if you are having breakfast get in the dining area early as it get very busy after 9am( not a criticism) just an observation. Breakfast excellent

Room very small when sofa made into spare bed. Could barely walk through the room. No space at all. Dirty tissues under sofa bed, carpet not hoovered.

Modern hotel, very easy to get to by car (we travelled in from the East. Parking straightforward in multi-storey car par park next door. 24 hrs discounted rate (by hotel reception) of £8. Room was pleasant with comfortable good sized bed, sofa & table, tea/coffee making facility, hairdryer, iron/ironing board & adequate storage. Bathroom itself & the shower cubicle both a very good size, good water pressure & nice shower gel/shampoo present. Only thing letting the room down were several questionable stains to the carpet. Hotel reception, bar & dining areas were modern & airy with pleasant decor. Plenty of seating available at breakfast, with good hot & cold choices of food & very plentiful. Breakfast being included in the price of the room made our stay excellent value. Hotel & surrounding area was quiet (right by The Royal Armouries) but with easy access to restaurants etc and a pleasant walk along the river to the city centre.

Awful breakfast, burnt bacon and no fried eggs, cheap beans, room warm and stuffy, but area around hotel great and staff lovely and welcoming. Overall though we would not go back.

Hotel is only a 10 minute walk into the town centre using canal walks. The hotel is in a lovely area by the canals. Only moan could do with more choice on evening menu.

The Hotel was ideally situated for the weekend for The Methodist Ordinations. The Coty is in easy walking distance. My only disappointment was the quality of the sausages at breakfast.

Fabulously comfortable and spacious. We had a room for people with access needs - which we don’t have - but highly recommend for people.

Super clean hotel, buffet breakfast refilled continuously. Staff were really nice too.

Great location and excellant staff

The room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. Only slight issue was that there were no instructions for the air conditioning which came on very suddeny and loudly in the middle of the night. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay

This hotel is a favourite of ours, I have stayed here three times now. The location is perfect and rooms very clean Even though there was a shortage of staff on Sunday when we arrived Lauren was brilliant and made sure we were well looked after. Hopefully we will return...

The hotel is a little bit out of the way and difficult to find if you don't know the area. We found it better to use a taxi. The hotel itself is large and spacious. It's clean and the room was large with plenty of room to move about. The beds were comfy although the bedding made it hot during the night. The bathroom was spotless and spacious. The large shower was especially appreciated. Breakfast was plentiful and hot. Just what you need from a full English.

Hotel recpetion was nice and clean, the bar next to it had seating and a good range of drinks. The breakfast was very good with hot food and cereal. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy with soft and firm pillows. The curtains kept the light out. It was a bit noisy even with the window shut. Parking is near by in a multistorey and the hotel can reduce the price of your ticket. The surrounding area is very nice with restaurants and cafes. The city centre is about a 10 minute walk away which is handy.

Great location especially for the Dock and Armouries and not far from town either. Very good breakfast.

This review is a reflection of hotels.com only. The hotel is great. Our hotels.com account was hacked on the 27th April and was reported immediately however hotels.com have no alleged fraud team or security team and did nothing resulting in someone now having control of my account my bookings and the use of my reward nights. Since the compromise of the account I have had two bookings cancelled and a refund of £1085.07 made not to my card that purchased it but to a card I don't recognise which I'm told by hotels.com can't happen. Evidence suggests otherwise which indicates that a person employed by hoteks.com has access to change this information. Due to hotels.com lack of rapid response and continued inability to deal with the matter my other 7 bookings are now locked from me and we face the worry and concern that our hotel has been cancelled on arrival.
