An older property that could use a refurbish but clean and comfortable. Complimentary full breakfast and social hour appetizers and wine/beer are excellent!

I don’t usually write reviews, but after the disappointing treatment my clients received, I feel compelled to share this experience. We booked this hotel for two of our clients during a film shoot in Edmonton because it was close to the studio, near West Edmonton Mall, and had a 9/10 rating on Hotels.com. However, after reading further reviews, I found that the rating doesn’t accurately reflect the quality of the hotel.
My clients, who travel frequently and stay in hundreds of hotels annually, arrived on November 18. Immediately, they were put off by the noise and chaos in the lobby and hallways. Our female client felt uncomfortable and was even followed by a male guest to her room. Additionally, the room’s cleanliness was far below expectations and inconsistent with the advertised standards. In fact, the hotel is closer to a 6.5/7 rating, not a 9.
After only an hour, both clients checked out due to unsanitary conditions and the safety concerns for our female client. They relocated to the Metterra on Whyte. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they denied the issues and refused to issue a refund, despite the fact that my clients left after just one hour and didn’t stay for the prepaid three nights. Even after Hotels.com contacted the hotel, they refused the refund, though Hotels.com did provide compensation.
It’s deeply troubling that a female guest felt unsafe and left an hour after check-in, and no effort was made to address her concerns. This situation was h

One of the types of bread served during breakfast was moldy. Told the staff about it but did not removed it right away.
Upon returning to our room, housekeeping left the garbage in the center of the floor. Probably forgot to take it away.

We have been staying here for family trips for a few years now. The suites are great, with actual bedroom doors, a practical kitchenette and a bar-table to eat at. The staff are always great, breakfast is fine (although a little crowded if you don't go early), the pool is fun and the location is perfect.

The bed was comfortable and quiet and staff is always friendly. Its walking distance to some good restaurants(Rockin Robin's is amazing). Also short drive to Kenworth to get truck parts and a short drive to West Edmonton Mall. Our hotel to stay for a Edmonton trip.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Property is just generally run down. The worst thing was the smell in the lobby and throughout the first floor... like a weird combo of commercial cleaner, musty carpet, dirty toilet, and rotting food? It was very offputting. I booked this property because the parking area looked large and clear (we drive a truck) which it was except the lines were painted to accommodate like a smartcar so I was stressed about damage to my vehicle the entire time.
TLDR; Hold your breath when you walk through the lobby and drive the smallest vehicle possible.

We enjoyed the breakfast. The staff are very friendly and our room was wonderful. It did appear there were people who may not have been lodging at the hotel wanting to get in to the hotel, I thought this was odd.

Staff was excellent. I’m was clean. couch was torn up. Bed was brutally soft and worn out. We turned the mattress and that helped somewhat. We got locked in our room! Door wouldn’t open, staff responded quickly to our rescue.

Dated, Needs more lighting, older rooms, there was animal droppings through the hallway; it did get cleaned but it just appeared dark and dated

Property wasnt bad. Pillows were flat, mattress wasnt great on either the bed or pyllout couch and the blankets were all very thin. Water pressure and shower head were so weak. Free breakfast wasnt bad, very basic. Wasnt worth the $199/night. Wouldntvrepeat ny stay, would rather try another hotel. It isnt as updated as the pictures on Expedia show. Needs major updating. Staff were great though and it was very clean.

The only opportunity is the furniture in the room and common areas. VERY worn! When we walked into our room the first thing we saw was a massive patch on the fabric couch. Not a great first impression.
Overall we had a great stay! The friendliness of the employees there made up for the worn out furniture.
