Terrible because I got food poisoning the first day and couldn’t enjoy my vacation. I was feeling extremely sick. Room next to mine was loud most of the night hard to stay asleep at night.

Besides relaxing by pool they have nothing going on. Entertainment was in lobby or small area by pool. Very boring!!

This place probably has the best beach in the Cancun hotel area. The options are moderate, they were mostly bland and not very well prepared. The Mexican restaurant and grill had the best options. Front and concierge staff were not the mostly helpful nor friendly for some reason. Rooms decent, but are not well maintained. Some rooms are

Nice beach and good food .

The hotel was nice and the staff were super friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed staying here. The food was delicious, not a huge resort which I appreciated because the beach wasn’t a far walk. You could literally step outside of the hotel and within a few steps be on the beach. It was perfect!

We stayed here for a group bachelorette/bachelor party for a week. We were talked into the VIP package of whatever they called it where you get to go to a private lounge area with a bar and snacks all the time except the snacks were trash literally one piece of lettuce type “snacks”. Also you get to use a private area of the beach and a private spa. But everyone was using them no one else in our large group upgraded and they all sat in the private beach area chairs and used the spa area. It was definitely a waste of money, our room was decent the humidity fogged the windows and all the tile floors were so slippery my husband slipped and fell walking out of the hotel lobby. The best part about this hotel was the view from our room which was part of the upgrade “getting a better view” which we did and the clean pristine beaches! We ate at a few places here but didn’t enjoy them so ended up eating off the resort at the beautiful restaurants!

Ad said All Inclusive. 3 restaurants charged extra. Asked for a balcony when booking this and didn’t get it. Night shows were so so. No out door grill. No mini bar in room. No pick up at airport and had to pay going back to airport. Don’t use expedia

Property needs an update the bathroom tubs are old and need a paint job , bathroom mirrow very old and damage, the steak house is terrible i had a very bad experience they took 1 hour to serve us and steak was terrible and cold i told them it was cold and they couldn’t even apologize. Tje place overall is not so bad but didnt like the fact that they give no risk bands soo that there made my family feel like anyone can just get in property. For the price i feel like its not worth it. But it was ok. Some staff members where a little rude also i had to call 1 time because they didn’t even clean the room.

The first day I checked in they put me in a room that smelled like mildew. I was trying to take a nap and couldn’t because it reeked of the mildew smell n I looked up by the vent and it was mildew. I called the front desk they moved me right away.The room they gave me wasn’t supplied with everything. But it was ok. Will I go back to that specific hotel, probably not.

We get to our room & the first thing is the toilet won't flush. We had to call the front desk and it got fixed. The next day same thing, had to go down to the front desk and have it fixed again. This happened three times!! We were told we were being given an upgrade - there was no upgrade. The door handle to the balcony was loose and was hard to shut, the counter above the mini fridge had old glass rings.We didn't have soap, a couple of days we weren't given wash cloths. When you took a shower the floor was wet each time. We sat on the beach in front of the pools, and had a waiter by the name of Andres - Excellent waiter!!! One day we couldn't sit on that side, we were asked to move to the other side. We had a young man wait on us twice and then he disappeared, never saw him again. We were out there for approximately 5-6 hours and no one helped us. The waitress helped everyone around us but never asked us if we wanted anything and she went around several times to the same people and made sure that they were taken care of, her name was Guadalupe. My husband would just go to the bar himself and order our drinks. I finally got up and went to see if I could speak to the pool concierge. I was told that they would send him over, he never came, the pool bartender came and said he was at lunch and asked what was wrong we told him and he ended up bringing us the food and drinks. Pool concierge never showed up. We were so disappointed and upset that we even stayed there.

The transportation to pick me up and take me to the hotel wasn’t on time a whole hour late

Beach is amazing

I was worried about booking here with all mixed reviews. But this place was very spa feel, as soon as we got there we were received by the hotel staff they got our luggage. It was a hot day and before we had a chance to go into the lobby, there’s someone handing us a wet, cold washcloth that smelled so good. The staff at the beach taking your orders for food or drinks while you’re laying out were so friendly and very attentive. The sandy white beach was perfect, very clear and no rocks or anything and shallow for a long way out. The restaurants were so good, our favorite was the Mexican one. And did not have to make reservations. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!! This was our 3rd time in Cancun and this one is by far our favorite so far!

It was a 5 star resort back in the 1990’s Early 2,000 so it’s still a very nice resort considering the price was so cheap. We paid $1,200 for 4 nights! was g

me, my husband and 5-year-old daughter had a great time at this resort. The staff are very nice, polite, willing to help. the resort has an awesome beach and 4 great swimming pool. Not only the staff but the guest in this resort were all so nice, it was like a family. The food was ok, could have been better. however, I have to say that you can always find something that suits you at the buffet. the kids' club staff were wonderful. it was opened from 9 am to 9pm and they would take your children to the beach and to the pool everyday for an hour or so. My daughter loved it. the property does need some renovation, it's a litlle bit old, but it is very clean.

It was a beautiful resort friendly staff we really enjoyed ourselves.

Dreams Sand hotel has a beautiful, clean, and private beach. The hotel is very clean and updated. The staff is very hardworking and friendly. Two suggestions would be to provide more information regarding hotel events at arrival and fix tables at restaurants as some are wobbly. Would definitely come back!

I liked the beach view

Did not like that too many umbrellas is reserved for preferred guests that they never show up, it’s one of the reasons to never go back there .Rooms need some work ( bathroom fan did not work obviously for long time ) closed buffet for dinner because some “ special occasion “ . Buffet should be open no matter what is going on

We enjoyed the beautiful beach and resort. The spa was excellent and so was the staff. The food was also good.

Just spent a week at the resort. The people and the service were excellent. Despite the small area and a high rise hotel, there were plenty of varieties of beach and poolside seating. My only concern was the room. The bathroom was so small, that with my 5 ft 3 in frame I could spread my hands and touch both walls. The air conditioning was very loud, it made a constant noise as if someone was knocking on the door. Additionally, the air filters were dirty, I had this dry, persistent cough that went away as soon as I got home.

We like that this property is close to the airport has a beautiful clean walkable beach, very clean, very friendly service and good food.

Excellent staff and service. Beautiful ocean view from our room. This hotel is a little dated but very clean. Leaking ceiling in the World Cafe buffet needs repair. Overall I will recommend this place.

Beach is nice

We spent 4 days here. 2nd trip to the same resort. Our room was dingy with multiple things not working like TV, phone and safe. Later they fixed 2 out of 3 items. Beach is wonderful. All restaurants are good except Mexican and buffet. Entertainment was good. Non motorized sailing was great. Overall staff are great.
