Front desk gentleman was wonderful. Breakfast was typical. Room was good except the AC was horrible. Great for an overnight trip.

1) check in: take much longer than average (prepaid online reservation) to get the door key card. And was initially given a room that was occupied! after long walk through the hallway to and back the second time finally get a room that is unoccupied. This may sound like a harmless mistake due to incompetence; it could cause misunderstanding and be dangerous! imagine in the middle of the night, getting into a stranger's room and the person who had a gun and open fire... the worst thing could happen. 2) The room we settled in was clean. 3) Breakfast Included?? This was pretty much a lie! all they had was water, tea, coffee, orange juice and sliced bread. I don't think you can claim this is breakfast, you can call it light refreshment. There are NO sausage, scramble eggs, milk, yogurt, pancake, or any kind of fruits. Does it really cost that much for this hotel to at least include some cereal and oatmeal?

Basic hotel room and served its need for a one night stay. Breakfast is toast/bagel.

Basic property with friendly staff and easy parking. Convenient to the university. Clean, well run, and conducive to good nighttime rest. Breakfast options limited. Basically toast, cereal, and coffee.

Noisey area. Sirens and people moving at all hours. Someone keyed into my room at 4:30am on my last morning while I was asleep.

Too dirty with lots of cockroaches, spiders, and bugs. I couldn't even breathe because of the strong bleach smell from the sheets. It's too noisy, and the breakfast is terrible.

I’ve stayed in 4 different hotels by Wyndham within 2 weeks. This hotel is the best one. Rooms are bigger, cleaner, room service is better and more convenient than the other hotels, all the amenities are working and in addition to these they have European outlets in the rooms 😊

The rooms were very clean. I loved that there was no carpet and the floors were very clean. The bathrooms were updated and the shower had really good pressure. There was a microwave and fridge. The stairwells were a bit old and the carpet smelled strange but that was a stairwell.

Good value. Quiet. Reasonably clean for age of property. Relatively safe area within walking distance of SUNY Albany. Restaurants and shopping nearby. I would stay again.

Breakfast options were very poor and basic compared to other hotels in this price range. The bed was fine and the room was clean but the thin poor quality bedding didn’t keep us warm enough with the air conditioning we couldn’t seem to control.

Place was adequately clean but looks like it hasn't been revovated since the 1980s. When I arrived the room was freezing because of the air conitioner on too high. View was of the back of another building. Breakfast was simple but Ok. On balance can't recommend.

bathroom dirty and showdr broken

The property was very clean and the staff was very friendly and willing to help. But it's an old building and you could hear noises all over the place. Every time the people who were staying above me walked across the floor,it sounded like thunder. (The rooms had a lovely gray laminate floor. Rugs probably would have dimmed the sound) The parking was right outside the windows of the first floor on my side, so I could hear people pulling up,slamming car doors,etc. And to top it all off sometime in the late evening a cricket must have gotten into the building and come in under a slight opening in my hallway door, so I had a cricket chirping in my room. At first it was under the bed and I couldn't reach it, but it did come out and lost his life to my sneaker. That certainly wasn't management's fault.

A quiet air conditioner, an unusual bonus! Staff friendly and efficient. Though WiFi pretty hopeless and not acceptable.

we had a handicap., accessible room- the room was spacious and quiet. But the bed was high and my husband had a hard time getting in and out of it.
