Best hotel stay I've had in a long time. Comfortable, relaxed, friendly staff, fantastic food. Ideal!

Have stayed in malmaison Newcastle many times so fancied a change. The Leeds hotel was fabulous, loved the decor, room was gorgeous & the staff really friendly.

Lovely hotel and lovely room. Reception excellent and very helpful. Bar staff very friendly. Misunderstanding about food so won’t review food but would stay in the hotel again.

Room was very nice. Bar experience not great, this place seems to have a very flat atmosphere, not very welcoming. Offer on of Verve rose at £16 a glass but it was warm! Staff didn’t know what to do about this! Tried to prebook parking online using the code they provided on the Malmaison site. The code is invalid. Asked the receptionist to validate our parking ticket but she ‘couldn’t help’ so cost is £33 to park! This puts me off staying again now. Marriott gives parking discount at trinity car park so will stay there in future.

We have just returned from a one night stay at Malmaison leeds. We had booked a Double Club Room and were disappointed to find when we went to bed on the evening that the bed was indeed a twin room and the bed was two mattresses pushed together when we had indeed booked specifically for a double bed however since we didn’t find this out until we went to bed we didn’t bother to complain. We also found the toilet in our room flushed very well however despite this our stay was lovely and the hotel its self is very nice. Malmaison is quite probably our favourite hotel chain.

Hotel was nice but the twin beds are very close together. The pillows are extremely uncomfortable and you can hear a lot of outside and upstairs noise.

Location central, great services at reception and waitresses in restaurant. Food was excellent, menu was limited. Upgrade to a club, nice sheets, nice tv and ac. The room needed some touching up and lock and handles into the bathroom need replacing.

Very nice hotel, very close to Leeds station, spacious room and bathroom with comfortable bed. Reception staff were very helpful.

Lovely hotel, well located with easy parking (at a discounted price) also close to train station, and very close to the shopping area and a fab street with bars and night life. Highly recommended.

Perfect stay for Leeds Pride plus another day. The lady who checked me in was lovely, knowledgeable and inviting. We had espresso martinis in the bar, served perfectly. I’ve stayed before and I’ll stay again.

Totally underwhelmed with this hotel, put into a disabled room when not requested. The hotel needs a hug unfortunately.

Well located for city centre and QPark car park 2 minute walk away. Hotel was OK and room we OK. Shame breakfast was not good. Cold buffet was OK but how food was shocking and not hot at all. Service slow at getting your breakfast order in. Not worth the money for it.

Simple and elegant, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was spot on even though it was very busy.

Hotel is looking tired and can only describe as ‘grubby’. Changed room due to smell. 2nd floor corridor also unpleasant. Reception staff, wooden in manner. Wouldn’t recommend.
