Great one night stay but was very impressed with free tea and coffee in lobby and very clean, modern and well presented. Excellent value for money and delicious breakfast the next morning in a lovely dining area. Would definitely recommend and stay there again as it was close to centre and eateries.

It was for the Heart gig at the First Direct Arena that was cancelled. The room was non refundable but the hotel refused to cancel room or even switch the date. Very inflexible considering we had a good reason to cancel. Premier Inn next door have a policy that they allow cancellations for cancelled gigs so very suprised at their attitude. Next time and every time for a gig it’s Premier Inn. Considering their main income is through gigs at First Direct you would think they would be more accommodating. Obviously not it seems. Poor show.

Really great hotel room was lovely breakfast was good staff were excellent free coffee machine with syrups was a lovely touch only gripe was that the sink in room 502 was blocked but we did report it to receptionist when leaving thank you very much

Check in proved a bit tricky as despite having booked 2 days before the hotel had no record of my booking! Thankfully they were able to process and provide the room I wanted. The room was great and despite being on the first floor of a busy street was really quiet. Bed was hard but pretty comfortable and shower was great. I would really recommend this for anyone looking for a cheap business hotel in central Leeds as only 15 mins from the station

The smell of cleaning fluid in the room was a little overpowering. But I admit to being a little more sensitive to strong smells than most people.

Great location but disappointed with some details in the room: empty shower gel dispenser in the shower, cleaning could have been better and disturbed by the cleaning lady in the morning.

Had an issue with the shower drain in my room and was moved immediately to a new room. The receptionists were lovely and super helpful. Bed wasnt that comfortable, a bit hard for me but there were lots of pillows, it was very clean and had tea, coffee, soaps etc and lots of plug sockets around the room. They also have a complimentary coffee machine in reception which was very appreciated!

Hotel was decent enough and rooms were modern and a nice size. The hotel lobby was nice as well with a lovely Indian restaurant attached. The only downsides were that the toilet flush button was broken in our room (still could be used so not a massive issue) and the pillows were awful far too soft and no support so struggled to get a good night sleep and necks ached a bit the next day.

Bathroom is too small with a bad layout, meaning you are cramped on the toilet. House keeping also knocked on our door twice before we checked out, even though it was before 12-00. The hotel is in a good location though

Really fast check in, the girl was really nice. Huge room and bathroom. Good hotel location next to the city centre. I will come back.

I left a coat in my room by mistake. I called very shortly after leaving (before anyone else would have checked in) and asked if I could come back for it. They said they would look for it and cos me back to confirm. They never did and implied they couldn’t find it. Nonsense.

Nice hotel in convenient place for concert and shopping but check in was slow and beds hard.

Brilliant hotel for Arena . Very clean and rooms well laid out . Also very quiet considering it was full. Only heard neighbours once or twice slamming their door ..not hotels fault. Our only issue was rooms very warm as A/C was very poor and windows don't open.

2nd stay here - good location for the city. Nice rooms although the room we had last year was a lot bigger. This time the room felt very small and the bathroom too. Still, it did the job for a 1 night stay. Would stay again

Very clean and well kept, bathroom feels new. AC works. Quiet despite central location. The Indian restaurant is good. However, the most important TV channel BBC News Channel is missing. Odd since there are 94 other channels showing soap operas from the 1980s. And, more importantly: breakfast is very poor (especially for someone with dietary needs) with one important exception: The scrambled eggs is actually made from real eggs and tastes OK, very rare these days when hotel chefs are cutting corners with horrendous prefabs thinking nobody will notice. Here, the only thing offered to put on the bread is industrial style pre-sliced dry and tasteless cheese and sausage. No bananas. No mushrooms with the scrambled eggs. The chia puddings, brie cheese, interesting local cheeses/cured meats, fresh raspberry/blueberry mixes, lactose free and vegan yoghurt, lettuce and salads offered at most average priced Nordic hotels are very far away here. There is a bowl of yoghurt but it is insufficiently cooled and looks grainy and separated. They do have soya milk. There is a Coop around the corner where you can buy some of the missing components and survive the day.

I have twice stayed at this hotel and had a good experience. However, this time it seems to be going downhill. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. I along with other guests put out sign for room to be serviced, only to find they had not been done. There are ridiculous early closing time for the bar. No room service and staff totally lack customer service.

The hotel was good for the very reasonable price, however my bed was very uncomfortable and I woke up with a very stiff back. The bathroom was also very compact and would not be suitable for anyone who was obese.

Lovely hotel, staff all a bit cold or even a bit rude

We've used this hotel 3 previous times and it's always been great, but this time a few things had changed for the worse. The biggest issue was malfunctioning Air Con - we reported it on the first day and then again twice on the second day, third time a member of staff tried to fix it while we were out by using a spare keycard and leaving it on all evening, but it was still not adequate to drop the temperature to a bearable one for sleep. Other change: Tired fixtures in the room - bathroom handrail was hanging off, complimentary coffee machine had no milk and staff couldn't add any, breakfast options lacked pastries (no croissants, no pain au chololat)e, no sour dough bread, only sliced, no fried egg, no mushrooms. Hardly a buffet just an eat as much as you like so long as it's bacon, sausage, scrambled egg and beans.
