Brand new hotel, very clean and comfortable.

No reception, self check in hotel. It doesn’t feel like a hotel. Location far from the town centre.

Beautifully designed, spacious rooms. The automated check-in and check-out makes it very easy to arrive and leave the property any time. There was a coffee machine with capsules in the room, very nice touch. Black outs worked perfectly. The hotel is situated just outside of the main part of Akureyri but if you have a car it’s really not a problem and in exchange the views are amazing. You can park you car right outside at the terrace of each room so it’s very easy to move heavy luggage in and out.

The jacuzzi closes at 10pm so we didnt get to use it. I think they could keep it open all day as there is no staff anyway.

Great place to stay when exploring north Iceland. Myvatn area is fairly close by as well as the diamond ring. The hotel is very new. The rooms are big, modern, clean and comfortable.

It was too hot in the night 26C° and it was only the door to the terrace, which was possible to be open.

It was super clean and in the perfect area. The facilities were ideal, I could do my own laundry in peace and make myself as many coffees as my heart wanted. This place is super modern and quiet, even in the second busiest Icelandic city.

Whilst I understand the amount of construction, I do feel like the view could have been nicer.

The building seems quite new and the furnishings are in good order.

You receive a code via email that accesses all the doors, be sure write it down or have email access so you can get in as there are no staff onsite at all to help you. It was very confusing, there were 3 other guest arriving when we did that had no idea how to get into their rooms either. The area around the hotel looks like a building site. There was no hairdryer, or tissues or soap in our bathroom. There were no pillow cases on the pillows and they were very uncomfortable . There is a coffee maker supplied with coffee capsules and artificial creamer but no tea bags or real milk for tea drinkers.

Hotel with no service, unable to enter the hotel and check in due to wrong code provided by the hotel. We can only enter through the assist of other guests. Only resolved by email communication. no hair dryer

would prefer to be able to book 1 double bed instead of 2 single beds
