Massive shout out to Steve the night porter, with constant poor facilities he’s the only member of staff who seemed to give a damn and even offered to buy me food when the oven broke AGAIN and as a gesture of good will emptied the FLY FILLED bins that were ignored by other tenants. I of course declined him buying me food as I imagined he’d never get it back from you but you have a real star on your staff, give all the night porters actual training to fix problems or move tenants! I worked early until late every day and they were the only staff available to me. Room was nice size and good shower, you need to invest in some mattress toppers though.

The bins in the communal area were constantly overflowing to the point that I couldn’t even use it! Only able to use the ring waste bin in my room. When reported all that was done was a piece of paper stuck up on the fridge… which obviously did nothing! Then there was the oven which broke constantly, I had to throw away 3 separate meals because some days it just packed in with no explanation. Steve on the night staff did everything he could to fix it but wasn’t able to solve the problem despite his lack of training to solve such matters.

Simple but has all I needed in the room

Kitchen was messy and dirty with very very little kitchenware. No bin in the room.

Staff were friendly and helpful. It was at a grest location, the cost was very reasonable.

The room had a bad smell (which could be remedied by keeping the window open), and the shower was stuck so there was no hot water.

There was no hot water in the shower. I did not like a cold shower.

A warm, friendly welcome and efficient check-in on arrival. Smart, functional room met all my needs at this accommodation on the edge of the central area. Plenty of nearby amenities such as cafés and convenience stores. Metro (Manors) and buses just a few minutes' walk away.

Multiple email messages about booking (5 or 6, I think) seemed a bit over the top! But otherwise all well.

Everything about the environment

Having TV in the room would have been awesome, the cutleries in the kitchen.
