Great location, less than ten minutes walk from West Jesmond Metro Station. Nice neighbourhood close to Jesmond Dene. Michael, the onsite caretaker/porter is very helpful and gave us some great recommendations for local restaurants.

The "hotel" is still a work in progress and some items are in need of a little TLC. However there can be no complaints about the value provided.

Location was great, being able to check-in at any time was also good. Bed was nice and the shower was very good, most showers I have experienced are cramped and pretty bad but this one was big and easy to operate.

The room was very basic and it didn't feel that clean. The bed and bathroom did feel clean but the hotel and the floor of the room felt old and a bit dirty. The hotel smelt damp and it was not a place you would want to spend any time in. It was a bed to sleep in but nothing more than that, and therefore I thought it was a bit expensive considering.

Building is very dated. Broken lift, common toilets out of order. Room was clean but TINY. The smallest double bed I have ever seen. Bathroom felt half finished - no door to shower, ending pouring water all over the floor. Paper tin walls, you can hear everything from rooms next door. Good price for stay, but wont be staying again - it was purely not comfortable.

Could hear everything in the rooms nearby so was hard to sleep. Room also had a bit of mold in some corners
