Great property and location.

We stayed at this property for a family reunion with kids ranging from 8-21. The access to the beach was great, a very short walk. The pool and surrounding pool area were fantastic. The house was beautiful and the bedrooms were spacious. Some of the beds didnt have bedding upon our arrival, which was frustrating. The lower level master mattress was very uncomfortable. The floors were very dirty upon our arrival, which didnt reflect what we would expect with such a high cleaning fee. There were only two tea towels for dishes. There are no bathroom hooks and few towell racks which was inconvenient. Overall, the house was very clean and organized. The kitchen was well equipped. The game room in the basement was a big hit. There is plenty of outdoor seating in the shade on the balconies and by the pool. The elevator was a bonus!

The house is clean, well-maintained, and tastefully appointed. The kitchen is great for a large family. We were five family units with a total of 20 people—never felt crowded. The Vacation Homes of HHI staff were helpful, friendly, and professional. Perhaps the best feature is the fully furnished game room. Watch out 2024, here we come!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place is amazing! Beautiful house, very clean, more beds than pictured which was perfect for all of the kids we had with us! Everyone we dealt with before the stay was very nice and informative. There was one con however, and it makes me sad to even have to write this. We paid for pool heat, which was somehow turned off on purpose and we were lied to about it. We were able to use the pool the very first night we were there, after that the water was freezing cold. First I was told the heater just ‘couldn’t keep up with the temps in the 60’s’. I told him our neighbors pool was steaming and our kids won’t touch ours. We had an electrician with us who peeked behind the fence to see if it was something simple that happened. He saw the the heater screen was off and the single disconnect that powered it had the fuse in upside down. I did call and by the time they got to us, the temp didn’t rise enough to use it until we had to check out. After the pool guy left, the fuse was upright again and the heater was on. He told us it was a ‘blown breaker’, which clearly was not true. If we didn’t have someone with us that knew about those, we would have been bummed and moved on. Instead, they were caught lying, which infuriates me. I have reached out 3 times and given them 3 weeks to look into this and haven’t heard anything back from them other than a partial refund for the heater fee. We paid extra for a house with a pool, hoping to use the pool. If it was in fact an accident, i wouldn’t even mention it, as I understand there are things that just happen that are out of anyone’s control. Since that doesn’t seem to be the issue, I feel the need to let others know in case it has or will happen again. Hopefully not!! I do have to mention, if it was a mistake, all they had to do was own it, apologize, and give us the heater money back. I’m a pretty understanding person.

The kitchen is a treat, super well-equipped, and the proximity to the beach and park are ideal. The pictures don't do it justice, or show how truly large this home is. Lots of porch space too. Very nicely decorated too. I'd love to rent it again!
