The Gwen is located in a fantastic location with easy access to so many iconic Chicago locations. The vibe was hip and casual with an iconic Moet & Chandon vending machine in the lobby! We had a generous sized double queen and though located pretty much right next to the elevator we were not disrupted by noise.

Walls are paper thin but you can’t hear outside which is great but you will hear your fellow guests. Food is good but unfortunately the room was gross. Had finger prints in glasses. The bathroom had hair in the shower. And the glass of the window had something sprayed on it. Won’t be back

Not a luxury hotel. Trying to be. Fried food smells in the hallways, average linens. Old interior in the rooms. Parking is 40.00 a night with the hotel discount. Forgot to mention, that is across the street. It’s a good location for walking to the miracle mile, and restaurants.

They make you seem like they giving you 25 per day if you dine in hotel but Actually you pay for the dinning. they just waive the 25 resort fee if you purchase something, but you are paying the full amount for food and drinks.and tax
So I would have just paid the 50 for 2 days and not had the extra food and drink money on my bill. Not happy ..

I stayed here for 4 nights together with some friends last week. I had booked a deluxe room for myself and standard rooms for my friends. Was very disappointing to see that their rooms were a little bigger and bathrooms were tad nicer than mine. The hotel in general was smaller and less luxe than I had been expecting.
