An overall satisfactory stay with issues resolved by management. The hotel is aging with a refurbishment scheduled for next year. The hotel compensates this with excellent service and issues are resolved by management in a satisfactiry manner. The GM aims to please and for this I commend him and his team. The service at the Cafe, Breakfast Buffet and Reception was good. Room service was patchy but no issue or ask was too much. What could have been an unpleasant stay was soon rectified by managment to ensure a loyal customer of IHG left happy. I commend them for their forthcoming attitude to service and they will continue to receive my custom. The choice of top quality hotels in Madinah is limited with many showing their age. The Dar Al Iman compensates this with excellent service.

The room we got had an electrical fault and the water for the shower was constantly cold, after 1 night they upgraded us to a suite which was ok At breakfast, a staff member Far had was rude, also late check out is extra money

Stay was quite good. Service of the room was excellent made even better by Mohammed Bilal who was in charge of Room maintenance. Hotel has Immediate access to the Prophet's mosque Women's section. Reason for 3 stars is that the Hotel was under renovations so lot of noise. Also the existing rooms looked in quite a need of renovation. Furthermore, Breakfast ended at 10:00 instead of 10:30 like other hotels. Also, Window would not open.

Arrived Thursday 25/07 6am....was offered to check in immediately for a small charge otherwise would have to wait around 11am with no guarantee of checking in early. So we took the kind offer by the young man looking after the front desk by himself (I did not get his name but was doing the night shift), giving us the opportunity to freshen up and head out for breakfast. So a BIG thank you to that young man. Staff were polite, rooms spacious, clean and comfortable could not fault anything in the room. Even slept well! Again a BIG thank you to the cleaner who looked after us in room 539. We booked breakfast with our stay. The breakfast was good quality, variety of food on offer and tasty even the extra shot Latte was spot on. Staff were very attentive, shout out to Amani, Farhad Khan and his team (especially the Trainee waiter who served us, sorry did not get his name). The falefel were the best I ever had...very fluffy and light. The freshly baked puffed bread were also great with houmous. Don't forget the deal soup with a squeeze of lemon....these are just a few things we loved about the breakfast service. My wife and I are enjoying our blessed stay in Madinah and the staff at Dar Al Aman are making it that extra special with the hospitality they are showing us. We check out tomorrow to embark on our umrah IA. InShaAllah, it will be the hotel we pick again if staying in Madinah.
