The room and property its self were very cleanly and taken care for. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. I was shocked to see a fairly outdated looking bathroom (minus the actual room with bathtub located within it). The Continental breakfast is fairly lack luster with only some toast/bagles, yogurt, pasteries, and oatmeal. No protein besides hard boiled eggs. If you plan on going to the spa, this may be the place for you. But if you intend on spending a lot of time in Laval and Montréal you’re better off getting a closer hotel room. Ubers/Taxis are beyond expensive in the city, since it takes a while to get anywhere driving (especially bad during rush hours and you can expect to be late to whatever you had planned) a 25 min ride can very quickly turn into 1.5 hrs I learnt the hard way.

The parking while hard to get there due to construction was good. There was no decaf coffee and I reported it to them as that is all I drink. They explained their delivery never came however they did get me some for my stay. The staff went above and beyond expectations to make my stay great.

The room was ok, clean and confortable. Fan of the AC unit was set to high and couldn't be change, very noisy. One of the bead frame was making a craking and squeaky sound. Their was a loud family reunion between midnight to 1 o'clock in the corridor near our room. The hotel advertise that it's a non-smoking environment, not true, the swiming pool area and balcony's over the pool area, everybody was smoking. For are first time it was not a greath experience, hopefully if there is a next time it will be different.

I enjoyed my stay . The room was clean , breakfast selection was okay , wasn’t too happy with the parking situation as there were limited spaces plus construction happening right in front of the hotel. The hotel is localized near many places for easier access to stores and restaurants.

Current construction makes this facility rather unpleasant. The tv did not work for our five-day stay and the air conditioning was extremely loud and annoying throughout the night. The ensuite pamphlet stated 4-hours at the spa was included with the stay but staff advised this was no longer the case and nothing they could do about the tv.

We stayed for 3 nights at Le Rivage. The room was clean well equipped, and quiet, except for the window air conditioning which was loud. Breakfast was fine though nothing to rave about. The fairly dark/blue lighting in the hotel is unusual. The pool is nice. Parking is limited. There is a construction site next to the hotel which I was not aware of when I booked the room. That made walking to nearby restaurants tricky.
