room clean, quiet, staff very friendly

It says breakfast while booking when in actual it was not there. I asked them to fix door lock, it was not working properly. They didnt. Bedsheets and quilt were burned. Gave me towel with stains on it. No drinkable water fountain in building. One can get much better hotel in tbhis price.

I was at a conference in Downtown Rochester and the Red Carpet Inn was easy to drive to each day. There were many restaurants, a Hyvee grocery and Kwik Trip gas station close. The people at the front desk were friendly and very accommodating.

The staff were friendly and helpful and the room size was good for what I needed. The location was close to what I needed and the parking was adequate. The bed was large and there was a small microwave and fridge that worked well.

The facilities were run down and the hallways had a sour smell. The room looked clean but I found some garbage on the floor near my side table. There were only 2 sheets and a thin blanket on the bed and the mattress was not comfortable so the second night I slept in the chair. Also, my ground floor window would not lock so I had to get staff to help me and she stated there was a trick to it. It didn't seem like it was in a great part of town.

I liked the day staff she was very helpful.

TV did not work when we got there, window wouldn't open, there was not a continental breakfast, no blanket.

The room was clean and well maintained. The staff was responsive and courteous. The location is very accessible and quiet. The price was reasonable.
