For many years I have been aware of this historic guest house and only now had the chance to stay. It met my expectations in that I was hoping for a traditional retreat house setting, and I got that. I was happy to have a comfortable, cozy room with a full bath. Lots of shampoo, soaps, etc. What more could I want ? The free breakfast in the dining room was typical of very good breakfasts. The staff were absolutely lovely, friendly and helpful.

Top-Lage und U-Bahn ist gleich in der Nähe

Die Zimmer sind sehr heruntergekommen und waren beim Einzug schon unsauber (Haare auf den Sims und Taschentuch unterm Bett) und wurden während des Aufenthalts nur sehr oberflächlich gesäubert (Bett gemacht). Die Haare und das Taschentuch waren bis zum Auszug nicht entfernt worden. Das meiste Personal schaut einen oft komisch an oder man wird ignoriert. Die zwei Herren im Frühstücksraum scheinen absolut keine Lust auf ihre Arbeit zu haben. Die Dame und der Mann am Empfang sind sehr freundlich. Beim Frühstück hätte ich mir mehr gesünderes gewünscht, wie zB. Gemüse oder Naturjoghurt.

Accueil vraiment très sympa malgré une arrivée 1h plus tôt que prévue. Chambre propre et assez spacieuse avec un placard muni de cintres et coffre fort+2 commodes et une chaise et un fauteuil. 2 paires de boules quies et crayon avec bloc papier si besoin qui sont un plus pour ceux qui ont oublié. La lampe de cheviet rétro mais avec 2 prises usb intégrées pour ceux qui n'ont pas d adaptateurs pour prise US. Très bonne idée. La literie est vraiment impeccable et les draps et serviettes changées tous les 4 jours même si nous ne restions que 7jours.En fait tous les employés sont souriants et serviables, c'est top. Petit déj varié avec des gaufres trop trop délicieuses il faudrait 2 appareils au lieu d'1! Ravies de notre séjour. C'est pas le Hilton mais très bien situé pour rayonner facilement sur NY. Lignes métro a 200m. Direct en 40mn jusqu'à l'airtrain pour JFK ! Le seul moins serait sur la salle de bain un peu vieillotte et peinture écaillée mais je pinaille au vu du rapport qualité prix. Petit jardin avec 3 tables isolé du bruit et cosy. Ascenseurs nickels. Fontaine à eau. Un autre plus en fin de séjour on peut laisser les bagages gratuitement ds une pièce sécurisée. Vraiment il n'y a pas beaucoup de si chouette endroit oú séjourner pour ce prix et avec autant de plus à NY. Je recommande chaleureusement et leur dit un grand merci.

Pas grand chose:La salle de bain est un peu viellote avec baignoire douche mais quelques produits sont mise à dispo gratuitement. Linguettes démaquillantes shampooing etc... Pas de sèche cheveux. La moquette au sol parce que j'aime pas ça en général... Peu de moins au regard des plus.

Great Guest House in the heart of NYC. It is on the older side, and could use an upgrade in some places such as new carpet, but nothing major. The daily bread at (except Sunday!) is always fresh and plentiful. The hot water is always consistent. The staff were lovely.

You can hear pipes with water running through at night but it’s no biggie.

The staff was not welcoming. After the musical "Water for elephants", I had to go back to Leo House to pick up my luggage to go to different hotel, before coming back the next day. The manager told me that if I did not pick up my luggage at 10:00pm, after the show, they'll pull it on the street. Surprising!

The location is excellent. The price is fair.

The room is bit small but good to go to sleep.

Emplacement en plein Chelsea et à deux pas du métro et de la high line à pied. Hôtel très calme avec choix de restaurants dans les rues adjacentes . Petit déjeuner copieux. Excellente literie.

Rien tout était parfait aucune mauvaise surprise
