Everything was great! beautiful place with a lot of tropic plants, in the centre of Colombo. We had feeling that we are still in a tropic village, not in a busy city, so calm and quiet was there. Furniture is in colonial style and all the place is atmospheric. Great location, was close to every place we wanted to visit. Would like also to mention good power of hot water in a shower. Breakfasts are huge and super delicious. Staff is super friendly and helpful. We will definitely come back!

The interior of this property is super relaxing complete with table tennis and darts options if you’re wanting to play some games. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and all the staff helped us with everything we needed. Also a close walk from the beach with lots of good Sri Lankan food close by

Sayura House is a great base to visit Colombo. The hotel is super comfortable, with a beautiful seating/dining area. And the rooms are well designed and cozy. The major sights around Colombo are easily reachable by a $2 dollar tuktuk ride. And most importantly - the manager Gamini is a legend (so kind and nice to chat with), and there is a golden retriever named Max who lives there who is worth coming to Colombo for.

Amazing location, garden with squerells, clean and nice room with all the facilitys you need. Gameni is an amazing manager, who taking care of every personal wishes, every details to provide a maximal comfortabel stay and he is amazing helpfull and polite. Very recomened place to stay!

- Very beautiful and calm garden with a lot of trees (nice to hear the birds instead of the cars in the morning) - very friendly and helpful hotel manager - nice breakfast (not included, but worth paying extra) - comfortable beds! Clean rooms. Hot water in the showers. - seating possibilities also outside of the room on the veranda with a view atop of the garden.

The place is a very lovely little oasis. The garden and seating areas feel very calm and cool from the bustling city outside. The rooms are well appointed with all the amenities and are air conditioned as well as having a fan. The owners and staff were pleasant and helpful, we were able to check in past midnight since our flight arrived late and they always checked in to see if we wanted anything. We travelled at a very difficult time for SL with the fuel shortages and even though they have been struggling with low numbers since covid they've maintained the place very well. They checked in to see if we would need help with transport or other things as well and all the little things like providing us with utensils (and even laying out the table) when we brought our own food was very appreciated and made our stay very comfortable and pleasant. Would not hesitate to here again.

My room was nicely decorated, clean, spacious and I was able to keep cool in it. The accommodation itself feels very peaceful, in contrast with the city. The accommodation was so helpful to me, allowing me a lot of flexibility with checking in and out, and providing assistance in washing clothes among other things. The breakfast offered was satisfying, with a course of fresh fruit and a second course of eggs, chicken sausage and toast. Juice and coffee/tea were also available.

Very friendly staff, especially Gamini went out if his way to make our stay incredible! We visited Sri lanka in a difficult time with long power cuts and food shortages and the hotel staff went above and beyond to make out stay as trouble free as possible.

Really great stay at Sayura House in Colombo. Rooms were clean, comfortable and very pretty. The Hotel is an Oasis in the bustle of Colombo. Close to delicious restaurants and only a short tuktuk ride from the centre. The breakfast (especially the homemade mango jam) was exceptional. 10/10!

The staff were the most hospitable & friendly people I've met in SL.Their knowledge and advice was invaluable for getting around the city. The property was in a great location and resembled a mini oasis in the middle of a bustling/energetic city.

The property is amazing. It‘s an oasis in the middle of Colombo. The atmosphere is kind, loving and calm, the interior is beautiful and the little garden our favorite spot for breakfast. The rooms have the perfect size, are very clean and comfy and you have a wonderful little balcony to the garden. They have a cute dog we fell in love with. Additionally, we really enjoyed the ping pong table.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and kind to us. Felt extremely welcome there. We got a good night's sleep, as the accommodation is in a small side street so you can't hear the noise from the big street by the ocean. The garden / terrace is especially beautiful at night.

The room was a little small. Breakfast was just eggs and fruit.
