*** Location .... Location .... Location. "Villa 430" a Captain's Walk si trova nell'Edificio # 2 al 1 ° piano, con vista sulla piscina e sull'oceano. We love this place, mainly because of the location to the pool and the beach. But this last time we came during a hurricane and Jan was quick to reach out and try to find ways to make it more enjoyable for us. Love the ease of a pack and play and games as well! We’ll be back :)

This condo is very charming and comfortable. We had to reach the manager once so my granddaughter could gain access to the unit the this happened with ease. We all agreed we would be happy to return.

I was disappointed. We walked in and beds were made with clean towels set up on top, but the master bathroom sink and floor were not clean. They had a plumber there right before who did not put the plungers away. I understand accidents happen, but when you are spending for vacation you except the place to be clean and ready for your stay. The propert manager did apologize and credit us some money. Unfortunately I had a bad first impression and couldn’t get past it. I then noticed dust on the baseboards, ziplock bag behind the master night stand and a water bottle under guest room. All minor things but if you pay a cleaning fee and service fee, the property should be kept clean, even the baseboards.
The location was great but I have stayed in more up to date and cleaner condos at captains walk.

The condo was generally clean, but the kitchen and hall floors could have been better mopped. It was well stocked with dishes, cookware, glasses, towels, supplies etc. We even had the use of beach towels and beach chairs. The washer, dryer and the refrigerator were relatively new and clean. The property manager was very attentive and easily available for questions or problems.

Another relaxing vacation in Captains Walk 430. Although the weather was not the best for the beach there was plenty to do and see on the island. Each year we have stayed here there have been special memories, this year we forgot one of my meds. and Jan stepped up and offered to have the meds. sent to her home and dropped them off at the condo when they came. Another event was the microwave died one morning, text Jan, that afternoon we had a new microwave in place. Already booked for 2025.

This is our second time staying at Captain’s Walk. We loved it as much as our previous stay. The condo has everything you would need for a family vacation. Beautifully decorated, very clean and well-furnished. It is in a great location with fabulous views and direct access to a heated pool and beach.
Jan is an amazing host and very response to any question - she’s the best!
Highly recommend this condo and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

My wife and oldest daughter have October birthdays this week and it was the perfect spot to celebrate. Jan was a great and accommodating host and quick to respond to any questions. Accurate description to the location. We loved the quick walk to the pool where we could watch our oldest from the patio. The beach was just around the corner and was never crowded. There were a few amenities we didn’t expect that maybe were left behind but they were helpful. A couple of beach chairs and a cooler. We had a date night while my mom watched the kids with a quick walk to Alexander’s which was the best meal we had on our trip. We rented bikes from Hilton Head Outfitters which is also a short walk from the property. I highly recommend Jan’s property and hope to stay here again.

This location has provided such joy to my family five years in a row and god willing will stay here several more in future. The location as advertised doesn’t say enough. Not only is it convenient to pool and beach, it’s centrally located to Hilton head. The owner is very concerned with her guests having a stress free vacation with her communication. I had a minor situation with the shower head on first day. Her representative had it resolved the very next morning. Just aren’t enough superlative comments can be said about this location. Thank You JAN!!!

We had a very enjoyable stay and among my favorite parts about the unit was being on the first floor and being able to see the ocean and also have the convenience to walk down a few steps from the balcony to access the pool and beach.

Can't possibly say enough positive things about the property manager or property itself. It is as advertised and its location to the pool, beach, Palmetto dunes amenities and Shelter Cove are everything that you can ask for. 6 Stars for the cleanliness of the property and communication with the Property manager. Great 2 week vacation in Captian’s Walk 430. This was our third in this ground floor condo and we love its condition and location. We love sitting on the lanai with our morning coffee and watching the sunrise. The pool is only a few steps from the lanai with the beach just beyond the pool. Most mornings we walk to the General Store for breakfast and on occasion walk up the beach to The Dune House beach cafe for a cocktail and one of their famous fish tacos. Being located in the center of Hilton Head Island, makes any shopping or exploring fast and easy. Has to be one of the best vacation rentals on the island. Already booked with Jan for next year.

My husband and I along with friends, stayed a week at this condo. Wonderful that it was on first floor looking over pool. Easy access to the beach. Location of condo is wonderful and convenient to everything HH has to offer. Condo was comfortable and clean but could use some updating in kitchen and bathrooms. There were a couple of slats on the plantation shutters that are brook and need to be fixed. Jan was easy to work with and responded to any inquiries promptly. However, all in all, I would stay there again.

My daughter and I stayed in this villa for a week after Christmas and we had a wonderful stay. This condo is in a great location. It is very close to the Palmetto Dunes General store which is one of our favorite spots. The condo is also in wonderful condition. Everything was spotless. I will definitely look to rent this condo again.

The location was absolutely perfect. The only thing that could have been better was the weather but that was certainly not the hosts fault. We loved our time at Captain’s Walk and hope to return to it!

This condo is absolutely in a great location in Palmetto Dunes. You walk right off your balcony to the heated pool in the Fall or a few more feet to the beach. Hear the ocean from inside your condo. The condo was very nicely decorated, and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped.

The unit was well maintained and cozy. The location was steps to the pool and the beach. The owner was in contact with us and available should we need anything. We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

The condo we stayed at was just perfect, right on the beach and super nice! We had minor issues that Jan took care of immediately (a broken toilet seat, day-long-construction on our condo that was not anticipated). But all was attended to, and we received a credit for the inconvenience. We would definitely stay here again, and we were very thankful for the get away.

We had a wonderful stay here and the property manager Jan was extremely attentive and welcoming! Check in was extremely easy. Place was very clean, beds comfy, beach access super close. Only great things to say!

This is the place to stay in Palmetto Dunes. Beautifully decorated, a very clean and well-furnished condo in a great location with fabulous views and direct access to a heated pool and beach. Great golf courses, restaurants, a general store and tennis & pickleball courts are all within the Palmetto Dunes complex and are very close to condo. Jan was an amazing host, quick to respond to my questions and made sure our stay went well. Her recommendations for restaurants were excellent! Highly recommend this condo and would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This property was perfect for our family. We had enough room and space to make it feel more like a home. The location was incredible as well. It is steps from the pool and a very close to the beach entrance. We will definitely search this location when we come back to the beautiful Hilton Head Island.

This was our third trip to HHI and so far this property was by far the best. This property was spectacular, extremely clean, kitchen was nicely stocked, so close to the pool and beach access. Inside and outside were very well maintained. The owner was wonderful to work with, very personable and professional. Thanks Jan! I wish we were still there!

We always try to stay at captains walk each time we visit HHI. This year. Unit 430 has tipped the scale. This is the nicest condo we have stayed in, the manager is wonderful with great communication. We couldn’t have asked for a smoother vacation rental process.

We’ve stayed at Jan’s property a few different times over the years and it is definitely our favorite. The location can’t be beat and the accommodations are comfortable and just what we need for a week at the beach. We’ll definitely be back!
