We liked everything, it was perfect! what a lovely little gem of a place - so relaxed and so clean! Met Joan and she was great. Lovely view of the lake from the lounge and really private (exactly what we wanted) I also particularly liked the memory foam mattress- I slept like a baby the first night (that was just what the DR ordered for me as I’m a landscaper and getting on a bit now - so was perfect for resting me bones) Jacuzzi bath was superb- As well as a real nice shower
Ducks mooching up to the decking to say hello and hoping to get fed was brilliant. so funny 10/10 rating from
me
The nibbles left out next to the TV we’re a bit stale
(only joking - I knew it was Duck food) 🤣 Another brilliant idea

has everything you need and more, normally need a few supplies when going into a lodge/apartment this place had everything
was unsure where the key was located due to arriving later at night but it wasn’t hard to find

Everything. Very friendly facilities were really good. Everything you needed was thought of. Nicest place we have ever stayed. Such a nice calming place and the views were so nice. Definitely going to be coming back.

The breakfast welcome pack was lovely. Easy walk to fab local restaurants and pubs.
It is hard to locate the property in the dark. Look for the line of white roadside stones on the first bend on Cartford Lane.

Loved the living area especially. The patio and views were beautiful and loved the ducks visiting. The shower was the best I've ever experienced. The accomodation was spotless and Joan was very welcoming

There was alot of noise as they where getting work done and this stopped up from having a lie in

The location was very peaceful and was a wonderful retreat away from city life. I especially liked the well maintained garden and the view from the terrace overlooking the lake it was lovely. I had my breakfast overlooking it every morning! Joan showed such attention to detail, she'd thought of everything from sauces to travel hand sanitiser and nothing was lacking. It was also a short walk away from Cartford Inn and the food was exceptional so I'd definitely recommend this to anyone else staying.

Joan & Terry made us feel very comfortable. The Lodge has all you need for either a short or a long stay and it was all spotlessly clean. Nice little village and good location for your one day trips to the lakes, if you wish. Will come back for sure!

Everything! Just perfect, thank you... I brought my partner her for a two night birthday stay... it was idyllic. Thanks to Joan and Terry for all the little extra thoughtful touches and allowing us to stay throughout the day we were due to leave. I’m going to book again soon and bring my daughter with me. The apartment had everything we needed for peaceful relaxing enjoyable weekend. Facilities were very very good and very clean. Definitely be going again

There was nothing until the end w I left something behind and was going to come back and collect the item made three attempts calling no answer or reply to my phone call
