Clean and tidy
Location was Ok only about 10 minutes walk to York centre
Didn't really see any staff as self check in and out.
Pre booked parking permit on the street was ok but very disappointed it ran out at check out time of 10 o'clock so I had to move the car and find alternative parking

Excellent location on a quiet street, but close enough to all the main attractions with just a short walk.
Room was small but perfect for the two of us. The weather was exceptionally warm but room was equipped with a fan - life saver for those hot nights!
I can’t fault this accommodation. Small cosmetic touch ups perhaps but nothing else was missing.

Thought of everything such as a fan for summer, extra heater for winter (on top of radiator) unlimited supply of tea and coffee available. Clean, friendly, easy to park.

It was super comfortable, the rooms are clean and the location is great. It's quiet at night and you're near the city centre. You get a little kettle in your room and there's free tea in the reception area.

Host v accommodating with car permit for my friend's car allowing her to park for the day.

The toilet was quite cold and draughty but room was fine if the door was kept shut.

Excellent place to stay near the city of York. Clean, tidy and an excellent room to stay in. Very nice bathroom and shower. Very friendly staff too.

The layout of the room was very beautiful and comfortable. There was no breakfast that morning, but we were given bread and luggage for free!:)

Everything! The facilities are everything you need for a great stay in York. Extremely clean and the room was very warm on a cold night. The beds were the most comfortable we have had away from home. Fantastic host, very helpful and friendly. Lovely continental breakfast included too which was a nice touch.
Only a 10 minute walk from York St John Uni.
We've only ever stayed in hotels before but decided to choose this guest house based on the location and the fantastic reviews... It was also a really reasonable price too. Will definitely stay again, can't beat it!
