Picchi è uno stile boutique casetta contemporaneo indipendente con una spaziosa, luminosa, aperta soggiorno piano, bagno di lusso e una bella camera da letto. Troverete arredi morbidi britannici fatti a mano con decorazioni in Farrow e Ball e piani di lavoro in granito per la cucina ben accessoriata. La zona salotto confortevole dispone di una Smart TV con vista libera, lettore DVD e WiFi. Il riscaldamento è centralizzato.
L'alloggio è stato progettato per un livello eccezionalmente alto in un tranquillo ambiente rurale. Fiori freschi e un cesto di benvenuto di generi di prima necessità vi saluto all'arrivo insieme con una bottiglia di vino in omaggio.
La porta d'ingresso conduce da un portico in un open space soggiorno / sala da pranzo con un legno moderna Stufa brucia realizzato con ceppi pronti alla luce, assicurando sei accogliente per tutto il soggiorno durante i giorni più freddi!
L'completamente attrezzata, cucina open space conduce fuori della sala da pranzo, ha un forno Neff elettrico, piano cottura a induzione, Bosch forno a microonde, frigorifero con congelatore e lavastoviglie. L'armadio di utilità ha una scheda di lavatrice / asciugatrice, ferro e stiratura.
La camera da letto dispone di un lussuoso letto king size con biancheria di qualità. Questo porta ad un ampio bagno con cabina doccia con opzioni di due soffione doccia, grande bagno doppio attacco e un sacco di spazio all'interno fatti a mano l'unità di vanità, termoarredo con asciugamani in cotone egiziano e articoli da bagno di benvenuto.
Picchi gode di un giardino cortile paesaggistico con mobili da giardino e barbecue a gas (durante la bella stagione).
Ci sono passeggiate in campagna dalla porta su un bridleway e la vicina Foresta di Ashdown (2.396 ettari). Questo cottage è nei giardini di una vecchia casa allenatore, che un tempo faceva parte di una tenuta più grande; quindi ha il vantaggio di un campo da tennis privato in comune e piccola sala fitness. This is wonderful property for two people. It has everthing you would need and the location is perfect. It was so quiet but you are only a few minuutes from civilisation. Angie was the perfect host and when we had a problem with the tv she made sore the issue was rectified quickly.

We rented Woodpeckers along with the 2 bedroom property next door. Together they provided us with the perfect base for ourselves and our adult children to attend a family wedding . Woodpeckers was excellent as it provided luxury and privacy. The bedroom was a good size with a stunning bathroom. The living space and kitchen had everything that was needed - the welcome hamper and abundance of freshly picked flowers were greatly appreciated! Thank you to Angie, the owner, for being so welcoming and for providing such brilliant directions to ensure we didn’t miss the road turning!

Woodpeckers is a wonderful property with all the amenities needed for a short or long term stay. If anything the photos don’t do it justice - it is a quaint property with a lot of character. Excellently located to explore the local area. We appreciated the welcome pack provided and also the personal welcome and farewell from the owner Angie.
We would highly recommend the property.

We booked Woodpeckers as we wanted some downtime from our hectic schedule of travelling the Uk & Ireland. So the Country location was great as it enable us to do day trips around Sussex /Surrey and Kent. Angie is a very good host, around if you need her but not intrusive. The property is exactly as advertised and the water pressure in the shower is just the best. I definitely recommend Woodpeckers if you are after a quiet country location.

Angie was an absolutely lovely host, great communication before we arrived and so friendly and helpful when we did! The cottage is most definitely high end with fabulous fixtures and fittings throughout! Beautiful surroundings and we would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone thinking of going there!

Excellent accommodation, all you would wish for in a holiday home .
Angie was very friendly and helpful , especially as we wanted to extend our stay, which was fortunately possible.
The rural setting makes the cottage even more special.

We had a very enjoyable stay at the cottage, it was beautifully furnished, very clean and was very well equipped with everything we needed. Very peaceful and relaxing location, and Angie, the owner was very helpful and kind. We definitely plan to return!

We booked for a weekend getaway post Christmas. The instructions were really clear we found it even in the dark! The cottage was lovely and cosy and have everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing stay. We were only sad we had to leave! Angie is a great attentive host and we can’t wait to return!

Absolutely beautiful cottage. This was our second stay and we will certainly be returning. The cottage has everything you need. Angie is a wonderful host and is there if you need her for anything but also leaves you alone to enjoy your stay. We love walking and the Ashdown Forest is on your doorstep as is the wonderful Plaw Hatch Farm Shop. If you are considering staying then make a booking as you will not be dissapointed!

Luxurious getaway for couples in wonderful surroundings
The cottage is beautifully furnished and equipped, and sits in its own private garden on a much larger and very impressive estate. It has the feeling of a really rural getaway, but there are numerous attractions within easy reach. The owner. Angie. was charming and helpful, and also provided an excellent welcoming basket of essentials. All in all, a highly enjoyable place to stay.

Perfect Winter Retreat
The cottage completely surpassed our expectations. Cleanliness and quality of furnishings and fittings could not be faulted while the heating system worked very efficiently. The host Angie went out of her way to provide information and kindly allowed an early check in and late check out as there were no adjacent bookings. Would definitely recommend this place for a relaxing out of town stay close to nature.

Lovely weekend stay
Woodpeckers cottage was beautifully clean and nicely furnished. We had everything we needed for our long weekend away and the owner also left a nice welcome pack, including wine! The log burner was great too. Would definitely recommend and would book again if staying in the area.

A superb property
Woodpeckers was the perfect place for three day stay in November. It’s beautifully presented, everything is of high quality. The bathroom has a huge bath and separate large shower. There is a super wood burning stove and the kitchen is very well equipped.. Lots of clear information about what to do and see in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed chatting with Angie who is a delightful host. We would love to make another visit to Woodpeckers.

A perfect autumn retreat for us oldies!
We are both in our late 70's/80's and the cottage was perfect for us for a quiet stay, all on one level with it's own garden and easy access to the woods. It was spotlessly clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The wood burning stove was a nice cosy feature for our autumn holiday.
I enjoyed seeing deer in the woods, the horses in the fields and, at night, the dark skies with all the stars. Several lovely gardens and other attractions nearby, and a very nice lunch in The Cat at West Hoathly combined to make this an ideal break for us.

Relaxing in beautiful surroundings
We have just returned from a lovely relaxing week at Woodpecker Cottage. The cottage is set within the grounds of the owners but has complete privacy and beautiful little gardens, front and back, which are perfect to sit for an afternoon G & T. It's decorated and furnished to a high standard making it very comfortable with a home from home feel, everything you could need has been thought of. Also the extra touches of fresh flowers and some groceries are very welcoming. The tennis court is a real bonus and some beautiful walks right on the doorstep. We highly recommend staying at Woodpecker Cottage.

A real home away from home, very warm and welcoming with fabulous gardens. The log fire was fantastic and we enjoyed late September curled up on the sofa in front of it.

Very relaxing
The property was very comfortable. Well designed and high quality fixtures and fittings used. Well equipped kitchen. We've never been anywhere with such a spotlessly clean oven before! Extremely comfortable bed. Having the use of the tennis court was a bonus. Would stay again without hesitation.
