Bad Experienced and very disappointed with Kyoto Restaurant Hostess who was very rudely . I hope the Hostess at the KYOTO RESTAURANT would treat everyone respectfully in the future equally and be nice and kindly to all the Customers.

The rooms were terrible. The hotel lobby was not well maintained. The property outside by the pool and beach were nice, but some of the chairs were broken so if you didn’t get out there early enough to claim the good ones, you were uncomfortable all day. We booked a room they had advertised as one that comfortably sleeps a family of four and our room had two full sized beds with barely enough room to even fit an additional roll away bed. We tried upgrading but they had no other options available. They also wouldn't let us book dinner reservations in advance but then when we got there and attempted to book reservations, we were told everything was booked up so we had limited options and we could only experience a few of the restaurants. We ended up eating off the resort one night because we didn’t want the buffet again, even though we paid for all inclusive. The whole place seemed poorly managed and maintained and for the amount we paid to stay there, it was not what we were expecting. We love Aruba and the staff there was amazing but overall, we were very disappointed with this resort and will never book with Barceló again.

Jazon and Willians provided great service at the Japanese and Italian restaurants. The resort can use an upgrade overall. Although the food was good, the buffett is timed and the ala carte restaurants require a reservation which can be inconvenient for someone on a different schedule. One of the best beaches to swim in. Lots of fun water sports to enjoy.

Gym was horrible very small. Buffet cooks were rude and not very friendly. Hotel is not a 5 star. Rooms are outdated and show lots of wear and tear. Maybe 3 star at best.

The food was not so appealing. When booking reservations for the seafood restaurant I should have been tolerate the lobster consisted wan entire meal. We both had 2 entrees needlessly. There should NOT be a line for breakfast!!! This is the first time I’ve experienced such a thing. Awful!

Our hotel room had a leak in the ceiling from the upstairs air-conditioning unit and they placed this into another room and we went from a Double bed to a single bed and for three people, it was incredibly uncomfortable and Since they were sold out, we had no choice very disappointing

We were disappointed with the quality of the food and ended up spending additional money on dining out. The hotel was nice, good location and amenities. However, I would not call it a "5 star" hotel or "boutique". Our room was a bit shabby, a few items were broken (bath gel pump, sink drain), poor lighting, and although the hotel has a rule of unsupervised items on pool chairs being removed after two hours, most seats were grabbed by people by 7 am and taken all day even when they were barely there.

Barceló Aruba was incredible. We ventured here for our honeymoon and had the best time. The resort and staff made our honeymoon feel special with a card and chocolates and even gave us a room on a higher floor. We booked royal level and it was so worth it. The service of the royal staff and food was incredible. Drinks were great and top shelf liquor at the beach bar was a nice plus also. If you are the type who doesn’t like to party all night long and goes to sleep early, don’t get a room in the north tower facing south. The Kalibra will keep you up with its late night music, for me not an issue but for some I can see it being one. Also the WiFi at this resort was TERRIBLE. During the day it was decent with only some disconnections, but after 6pm it was miserable. I was unable to keep a WiFi connection for more than 1-5 minutes at a time and couldn’t make WiFi calls without the service dropping. Other than that issue this place is 10/10 and would recommend. Definitely do royal level!

The stay here was so wonderful! All the employees were amazing, helpful and friendly. The food was good! I read so many reviews before going, and people mentioned the food not being good. It had me worried initially. Well the food was actual good! The hotel is in the perfect location. Its shopping stores & restaurants right across the street from the hotel. It was perfect. I definitely recommend staying here.

Upon arrival the front desk associates were not super friendly and welcoming. They didn’t explain anything to us. The food is not good at all at this resort. Only one buffet and the food is the same and again not good at all. The staff seemed miserable daily. Housekeeping never gave us hand towels. Would not recommend this resort at all.

The staff is excellent!!! Super tentative and very friendly. The food for dinner was not great. We did enjoy the breakfast, there is something for everyone. It is obvious they work hard to ensure you have a great experience. We had a great time. Everything was convenient!! Thank you.

Since the day we arrived, it was very stressful. When we go on vacation, we go to relieve stress, yet this place seemed to regularly place us in many stressful situations. They didn’t want to give us the room keys even though the rooms were ready. We booked rooms for 2 double beds but the staff told us they couldn’t do this due to poor planning and organization. They had overbooked the double bed rooms and could not resolve this issue. We had to have three people in one bed. We are three adults and this was very uncomfortable. More and more things continuously happened. If you want a relaxed and comfortable hotel, please do not come here.

Not a great experience…The Check in progress was VERY QUESTIONABLE…. I would say it was terrible .. BUFFET FOOD WAS HORRIBLE… lacked variety …. Cold … tasteless… Speciality restaurant were a bit better … The are things that happened at this hotel that was not purely by accident I plan on writing to the owner .

Old hotel very noisy, nothing received for vip access , just bottle of wine in the room, room smelled moldy , and I had an allergic reaction to mold. The view is on pool with partial view on ocean. Disappointed experience.

Clean and well maintained both inside and out. All staff extremely friendly, even when you just see them out and about. Dining service great, always good drinks and good variety of flavors available. Hours for food are amazing-you can have something at pretty much any time of the day. No one bothers you or sells anything on the beach so it is truly relaxing. Beach path is safe and walkable day and night. Really enjoyed Barcelo and would highly recommend
