Our hosts Jerome and Corinne were very welcoming even arranged our collection from the train station with their son Maxi

The property was immaculate, airy and spacious. The location was perfect a short walk to La Cite and to the newer part of town to the train station. Lovely little cafes and restaurants nearby. Our hosts provided recommendations for restaurants and very a welcoming bottle of wine chilled in the fridge. We cannot recommend this property or hosts highly enough, a wonderful apartment in the fabulous city of Carcassonne

Exceptional

Everything was perfect, clean, spacious, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping rooms, location. A great place even for a long stay.

Superb

It is a lovely removated property, with everything you could possibly want and Jerome is great host. Access is by a very steep stairway which may be difficult for elderly or disabled guests.

It's a 10 walk to the medieval cite which is great but the town is a 20 min walk which could be difficult for some guests.

Near the facilities but not very comfortable.

The apartment was right near the Cite and bars and restaurants. A short walk took you to the bridge over the river and into the main town.

The entrance hall to the apartment was a bit run down, the stairs were steep and the bathroom was tiny. Everything was just "okay" but the whole place could do with an uplift. The towels were like sandpaper and the shower did not have anywheree to put shampoo etc. A shelf would be most useeful.

Superb

The host was very accommodating and worked to make us as comfortable as possible from help with parking to the provision of milk and wine to his best recommendations. The place is also a quick 10 minute walk from Cité de Carcassonne.

The bathroom is a bit small to be shared by 4 people.

Fantastic apartment

Superb! We were absolutely delighted with our apartment! It couldn't be better for us - spacious, everything we needed, even a lovely bottle of rose, bottle of water, milk - waiting for us. Such a lovely touch. Bed was exteremely comfortable and sheets were high quality, soft sheets. Pillows super (compared to other rentals we had). Apartment so close to the castle and lots of lovely little restaurants just 1 min away. 8 mins walk (or less) to the town centre over the bridge. Jerome was 'vraiment sympa' and gave us advice about what to see - which we found very useful. So happy to have found this place.

Everything was just great. Didn't have an iron but didn't need one in the end!

Carcassonne is a beautiful, if rather touristy city and we enjoyed exploring it.

Location was excellent - apartment is situated just below the Citadel, so very convenient for both the historic centre and the modern town, as well as restaurants and markets. Corinne and Jerome had thought of everything in a smart but simply furnished apartment, and a particularly nice touch was the milk and bottle of wine waiting for us, along with coffee, tea bags etc. We found free parking easily, either in the same street or at the bottom of the hill (though we would suspect it may not be so easy in peak season). Rue Trivalle is one way and the property should be approached from the east.
