Beautiful property in a great location!

This was a perfect stay for two to explore La Jolla. House was super-clean and the check in process was very easy. Communication with the property company was clear and friendly. Highly recommend!!

The perfect spot for our spring break adventure. Cozy, but had everything we needed and the location can’t be beat! Our kids (9 and 11) slept on the pullout couch with no complaints and the bed in the master was super comfy. Communication with the owners was prompt and clear. Would highly recommend!

Fab Location in La Jolla

My husband and I had a wonderful time staying in this cute little cottage. It was very clean and exactly as pictured. La Jolla is a very walkable town and the cottage is in the absolute best location! So many places to explore. My only negative comment is the couch was not very comfortable but that would not keep me from staying here again. Highly recommend!

The place was great, 5 min. to ocean, <5 min. to shops and restaurants. Clean, cozy...

Beautifully decorated and appointed, very quiet, solid house, perfectly situated, loved staying here. BUT bedroom and shower are very cozy, almost impractically so, there's no municipal lighting of Ocean Lane at night, the 10am checkout time is kinda early, and given that we had to take out our own trash and run the dishwasher before leaving, the cleaning fee of one sixty-five for a very small house is a bit much. Also, the directions and parking explanation that is part of the property description are accurate, those published prior to arrival are not.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The place was perfect. Save for the renovations going on across the walkway, it's everything it appears to be in real life: a very tastefully updated, super clean historic cottage smack dab in the heart of the village. Super convenient to everything downtown La Jolla has to offer. The cove and the park a block and a half west down the steps, and north, south or east to restaurants, bars and shops. Perfect for a solo traveler or two. Loved the compact but full kitchen even though I only ever made coffee. The sleeper sofa (though never used for sleeping) isn't all that comfy as a sofa and slightly less clean than the rest of the place but if you're downtown in La Jolla you probably won't be sitting inside very long anyway. The coffee shop/restaurant up on Prospect dumps their garbage behind the restaurant and close to the unit (though it's concealed behind a door), so some stray spilled or blew down the walkway near the entrance of the apt. No nasty smells or visuals however. I was a male solo traveler who didn't mind but only other thing I'd add is having a motion detector porch light might be helpful for others. Unless you remember to leave it on before you go out for the evening. Can get a little dark in the walkway when entering the code. Oh and if you have luggage definitely enter from Prospect St and not Coast Blvd (where you'll have to navigate steps). All that said, the place still manages an easy five stars. Will definitely return. Bluewater was very attentive btw. Received a welcome kit and daily text messages checking in on my stay.

Great location!

Everything was great! Location is great !! Clean . Quick walk to the beach and great restaurants . The only thing was on check out day, they were there early to clean and stood outside the door until we left so we felt pressured to hurry up and get out even though it wasn’t quite check out time .

Loved my two week stay at this special cottage. It’s quaint and perfectly located in the heart of the village. Easy walk to beach, coffee, shops and everything else you need. Check in was a breeze and management was fantastic. I will most definitely be back!

Everything you need! The only negative is the parking, if you are able to get around without a car and just walk or Uber everywhere I would highly recommend that.

There was construction right next to the cabin but still very enjoyable stay the owners gave us a heads up on the construction and we were well aware

It is a small unit, but perfectly suited. Everything is up to date, clean, and in very nice shape. It’s hard to beat the location in La Jolla.

The house was Very beautiful and clean. Communication with Bluewater was very good. Only parking is a little bit tricky especially on weekends.

This cute little charming house was absolutely everything you need for a perfect stay in La Jolla- super clean, well stocked, perfectly furnished, and very modern. We couldn't have picked a better spot for tons of things to do (shopping, eat, watching the seal/sea lions, hiking, walking by the ocean, etc...). This location was exactly what we were looking for. We opened our bedroom window at night and could hear the ocean, which we loved! We will definitely be back, and look forward to staying at more Bluewater properties; they are on point with everything.

So many great things to say about this place! Perfect location, spotless the moment we walked in, and felt safe our entire stay. The team was quick to respond with any questions we had. We hope to return again someday!

Great location, and beautiful home away from home! Grocery store within walking distance, as well as the beaches and parks. Really perfect! House has the necessities for comfortable stay! Booked again for next year :)

Could not have asked for a better place for our first family vacation with our almost three year old. The property was less than a 5 minute walk away from several beautiful beaches and a less than 5 minute walk to several restaurants. This was our first time in La Jolla and it is truly a beautiful and special place, and this property was beautifully maintained and renovated and perfectly located. It also had a very nice view of the beach. Our only regret is not staying longer! Worth every penny, and the memories are absolutely priceless. While not a large place, we were perfectly comfortable with my husband, myself, and our toddler and had a wonderful vacation!

Cute little cottage! Very clean, well-maintained, and well-thought-out. Located down a quiet street, but right in the middle of what’s happening in La Jolla Cove. Steps away from the beach, restaurants, and shops. Small space but everything is laid out so nicely, it feels like plenty of room for 2.

Wonderful place. Very cute. Newly remodeled and decorated. Clean as could be. Steps from the heart of LaJolla Village shops and restaurants, and two blocks to the beach and cove. Had no problems or concerns.

We stayed here as a family of 3 (with our 2 1/2 year old son) for 3 nights. This cottage is adorable! It was very clean, and it has the cutest fireplace we have ever seen. Location cannot be beat - We could walk to everything and the beach is just a few steps from the cottage! We appreciated the welcome basket filled with snacks and other goodies. The host communicated with us often, checking to make sure we arrived and got in to the cottage ok, and checked up to ask how our stay was going and if there were any issues. Cannot recommend this lovely place enough! Would love to return - and soon!

My husband & I had such a wonderful time at the cottage in La Jolla! The location was perfect & the house was a little love nest. I highly recommend for any couple!

Loved the cleanliness and the brightness of the place. Looks fresh and new. The directions to get to it and check in were well written and got us to exactly where we needed to be when arriving late and in the dark. Everything needed is in the apartment. You just need to be aware, if it matters to you, that while there is a closet in the bedroom, there really is no surface (floor or other) to open a suitcase on. We had our suitcases open in the living area, which worked out just fine for the two of us. Location is fabulous for access to the ocean and the downtown area. We had a great visit and would stay again if in the area!
