The location was great if you are looking for something that isn't too pricey but still nice with the private park, across the street, that you can walk along to get to the beach. It was a nice place that I think would be good for anyone going to Cape Charles. The owners were easy to work with and communicative.

Plenty of room for family and friends, great layout, beautiful decor, and the well-equipped kitchen has EVERYTHING - down to coffee filters, zip-lock bags, and plastic storage containers. We especially liked the first-floor master suite, and the half bath on the first floor was super convenient for the kids. The front porch was wonderful for coffee in the morning, or sunsets in the evening - all this just a short walk or golf-cart ride to the beach! Lindsay was friendly and super-responsive - answered all our questions quickly - great owners to work with! We highly recommend the Cape Charles Beach Bungalow - we already reserved our week for next year! :D

This beach house was perfect for our vacation. It had everything in it that that you could possibly need. I think the owner thought of everything. It was clean , comfortable and decorated beautifully. It looked like a model home. Great location, not far from the beach. It’s about a 5 minute walk. We will definitely be back.

The house was very clean and we'll stocked. Close proximity to everything you'd want to do in Cape Charles. It was a little chilly while we were there so we didn't get to spend much time on the beach or in the water, but hope to go back one day when it's warmer. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. The village of Cape Charles is very charming and the location of Lindsay's property is walking distance to the town and beach. I will verify the majority of past reviews as the home is very clean and it has everything needed for a weekend get-away. Her decorative skills are impressive. We visited in mid-December when weather is unpredictable and it was near 70 when we arrived and cold and rainy a day later which was fine as the home is cozy.

We loved this property for our friends golf and beach getaway. The cottage is adorable with its beachy colors and accessories. Immaculately clean and well kept. Everything we needed for bed, bath, and kitchen was at our finger tips. A cute neighborhood close to beach and downtown shops and restaurants. We will definitely stay here again for our Cape Charles getaways.

Our experience was phenomenal from the start of the rental process all the way through to check out! Lindsay and her home we’re both welcoming and provided us with a comfortable and enjoyable visit to the beach. The home was extremely well decorated and had all the furnishings and more to make the trip a success. Everything was in great quality and there was not a thing we needed that we could not find. We even had a storm come through and knock out power briefly, but Lindsay was communicative and helpful with updates throughout the entire process! Great stay and a place we will want to return back to again!

This property is newly renovated with a tasteful beachy vibe. We enjoyed the view of the "jelly bean complex". The kitchen was well supplied with all the dishware and the utensils that you could want. We would stay again in a heartbeat.

Our family really enjoyed our stay in Cape Charles. The house was new and very clean. The kitchen was well-equipped with lots of beautiful, simple dishes, pots and pans, everything we needed. We cooked our own meals and saved on going out to eat at a restaurant. We walked to the beach and to the park every day. The house was the perfect size to accommodate our extended family for a Thanksgiving weekend get together. We were 4 adults and 5 children ranging in age from 6 to 13 years old, and the house was very comfortable for the 9 of us. Thank you, Lindsay for sharing your lovely home.

The bungalow was wonderful. It was perfect for us in size and location . Everything about the property made the stay easy and relaxing. My husband and I enjoyed the master bedroom located on the first floor and our kids and their kids enjoyed the upstairs privacy. The toys, pack N play and TV set ups made having the “kids” around effortless. I would be remiss not to mention that the place is new and very clean. Cape Charles is a great little town too. We will be back.

We absolutely loved the house and the town. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. As a group of five 70 year old women we couldn’t have been happier when we opened the door and entered the house. Perfect! We loved the shops in town, had great meals at many of the restaurants, rented a golf cart, and just enjoyed being at the house. It was great having breakfast on the porch. And the weather was perfect, too. We would love to rent this house again.

We have been to Cape Charles a few times and this place was by far the best house we've stayed in!!! It was tastefully decorated, fully stocked with beach chairs and towels, a great kitchen and a nice TV set up. It was IMMACULATE! I'm a stickler for staying in clean places and this fit the bill. Oh and the outdoor shower, what a treat!!! My kids loved being right across the street from the wide sidewalk where they could easily ride their bikes. We just love Cape Charles, everyone is so friendly and the beach is just perfect. We will definitely be staying here again!! Thank you!

We had a wonderful vacation in Cape Charles, what a cool quaint little town! Our kids enjoyed the calm water and swimming in the bay. We rented a golf cart and they had fun zipping around town. My husband and I enjoyed exploring Main Street and neat little shops. If you are looking for a great seafood restaurant check out The Shanty. Coastal Bakery has the best coffee and delicious bakery treats, and we also recommend visiting the Brown Dog Ice Cream Shop. This beach bungalow is lovely and the owner has stocked it with all the essentials and has thought of everything you could need! It was so nice that the linens, towels, and beach towels are included with the rental. The house is very kid-friendly and our teenagers (19, 17, and 14 years old) had fun hanging out in their own space in the loft. At night we would drive the golf cart to the beach to see the beautiful sunset. Truly a relaxing vacation, we will be back!

We had a great time thank you very much. The only problem was making restaurant reservations and choosing things to do based on businesses not following their operating hours schedule. My daughter waited two days to go to Seagrass which decided not to open Tuesday or Wednesday.. which again is not what the sign on the door stated... the same goes for restaurants which aren’t open Monday’s... some not open Tuesday..and don’t get me started on reservations... omg... the house was lovely... the town is perfect as well... just not everything is user friendly

This home checked all the boxes: immaculately clean, well-stocked without being cluttered, roomy for all without being overwhelming, and equipped with what you need (without having to cull through a million things). The design fit our family of 5 perfectly. The kids especially enjoyed having their own space upstairs and finding some toy collections to enjoy. The decor was beach-y but thoughtful and not over done. The location was lovely -- still in town, but with views across and down the street that kept you from feeling closed-in. Cape Charles Bungalow was obviously built with love, and maintained by invested and thoughtful owners. As frequent CC renters, it is on our favorites list!

Podcast raising boys and girls We had a great time at Cape Charles last week! Such a hidden gem! The beach is amazing, water is calm, and the sleepy beach town is so relaxing! My kids loved zipping around town on a golf cart :) The Cape Charles beach bungalow was the perfect place to stay! Brand new and has everything you could need! Beautifully decorated. The owners really thought of everything! They were so helpful and accommodating. The house is very kid friendly! And just a short ride to the beach :) one of our most relaxing vacations in a while! We recently spent a long weekend at the Cape Charles Beach Bungalow and could not have selected a better place to stay with our two young kids (1.5 & 3.5 years old). The home is new, well decorated, very clean, and comfortable. It was well appointed with all of the essentials (wine opener, coffee maker, and WiFi) and a great number of extras (outdoor shower, cheese grater, koozies, pack-n-play, toys, and beach trip accessories - two loungers, beach umbrella, bag, towels, and beach toys). The home is also in an excellent location for easy access to the beach and many near by restaurants. The owners were kind and communication was excellent, including pre-visit information on what to expect and info at the house regarding local attractions and TV channels. We will certainly be back!
