The house was spacious and clean and the hosts were excellent to work with. Kitchen was stocked with cookware and had everything we needed. The outside area was great for entertaining and the fishing was excellent. We caught many huge catfish and a few bass. The steps down to the water could prove challenging for some people, but my friend Justin is strong and was able to carry our kayaks down with ease. I would recommend this house for a quiet get away, or a fishing trip with da Boyz.

Lovely weekend, very close to Chestertown and the college for reunion festivities. We loved making s’mores Saturday night.

We had a lovely stay at this lakehouse. The bedrooms are spacious, the kitchen is well stocked and the home is cozy and well organized. Our family took advantage of the large yard, swing, fire pit and the games and cards they had for inside play. The host was communicative and we felt very at home. Highly recommend!

The house was perfect for our group. Shared kitchen/ dining/ living room was perfect to chat while cooking. The fire pit was awesome! We LOVED it. Host was accessible and lovely to deal with. We had a blast!!

Beautiful setting atop hill overlooking wonderful pond peaking through trees. Kitchen well appointed. CoMfortable sleep options. Great living/dining and kitchen setup. Wonderful deck. Superb communications with owners.

We had such a great time at this property. Fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, great deck, steps directly down to the water ... couldn't ask for more when it comes to relaxation and an escape from the city. Loretta was super responsive to our few questions. We would definitely stay here again - it's a gem!

We had a great time! The place was perfect and the host gracious. The kids loved fishing from the doc in the morning and evening and taking our paddle boards in the water and swimming during the day. We loved it and want to go back. My only suggestion to people comming is to make bring your own roku/firestick since the smart tv doesn’t have a lot of apps (that I saw). We liked doing a little bit of a movie with kids after dinner at the fire pit and couldn’t get like Disney plus

This home has everything you need for a relaxing stay! Bring your boat, jet ski or kayaks for easy access to Still Pond. The 49 steps to the lake may seem like a lot, but we handled it with ease. The view can't be beat, and the overall quietness was superb! Would definitely stay again in the future.

The home was lovely and had everything we needed. The location was beautiful and our family really enjoyed our stay. Only note of caution, there are a lot of fairly steep steps down to the water, so not easy for all generations.

We loved the big, shaded, quiet yard with deck overlooking! The kids had fun on the swing, splashing in the water and we brought a paddle board and kayak to float around on. It was perfect! House is clean and organized with a great set up for more than one family. We were there with our 3 kids and my husbands parents and had plenty of space! Great place for a quiet time away!

We really enjoyed this house on the bay. From my 4 year old grand-niece to my 84 year old father, and those of us in between. House was well setup. just as described. living room furniture and bed were super comfy. It's right on the water with a very shady yard, fire pit and nice deck. Easy access to the water. there are a bunch of steps but they are plenty sturdy and the dock is very nice. We were able to bring a boat and tie up for the weekend. Still Pond Creek itself is great. Not much boat traffic at all, even on the weekend. Well protected from the wind too. it was a pretty windy couple days, with a small craft advisory out on the bay but you couldn't really tell back in the creek. Not nearly as rough. Host was very friendly, helpful with local info, good communication. Read carefully, you do need to bring your own bedding and paper supplies (TP, paper towels etc). firewood, which we were told about but isn't the case with most short term rentals we do. all in all, great stay at a great place!

A few friends and I rented this location for our college reunion. Everyone loved this home! Sitting by the water at sunset with a fire going…you just can’t beat it! Everything was clean, grill was used and much appreciated! Host was always available. Beds were comfy! We will definitely be back next year!

This Home was located next to some woods on one side, thus very quiet and peaceful! The Views were Beautiful and the Dock was perfect for fishing, swimming and Water Sports!! We would surely visit again! Great Fun in the Sun!

This was a last minute booking that worked out really well. Loretta was helpful from the beginning and reached out the night before we left to make sure that all was in order. Our stay was great overall! The place was extremely clean and cosy. Kitchen stocked with what was needed for cooking--appliance wise--great gas stove, utensils, etc., we brought all other things (spices, condiments, etc.). Lots of room for our party of 9 (4 adults and 5 kids, ages 10-15 to spread out). Loretta left them popsicles to enjoy as a welcome which was a nice touch and our dog felt at home. Anything that came up while there was quickly resolved by a quick text to Loretta with a prompt helpful response. We enjoyed sitting in the backyard one night making smores. We brought our own solo stove and wood, but the property has a nice fire pit (you do have to bring your own wood though as the owner points out). The living room off the kitchen was a great spot for all us to hang out comfortably and watch a show before bed if we chose. Overall a really pleasant, relaxing stay-just what we needed right before the start of a new school year amidst our new pandemic normal. Just would highlight that linens were not supplied (towels or sheets - beds did have a sham), but we had asked the question and were prepared for this. The beach area by the house didn't really work for us as our kids are bigger, but we rented a boat in the area and had an entire day of tubing which was much fun. Next door is a house that is really close to the property-literally a stone throw-actually less than that. No one was there when we stayed, but if there was someone there, given the closeness, it would have been a completely different vibe. There are two new mattresses in the bunk beds that were comfortable. The other beds were not. As they were four bunk beds and four kids were sleeping in that room, we were able to use the mattresses for the two upper bunks to double up and make the other mattresses more comfortable. Loretta told me that they were purchasing new mattresses for the remaining bunk beds. The bigger beds in the upper bedrooms were comfortable but the bed in the bedroom below was not as comfortable. A change over with the mattresses and this would have been an all 5 star rating!!!! You can't go wrong booking this place. Thanks Loretta Thanks Loretta!

Nice open/calm water, we saw one other boat the whole time we were there. A con for families or individuals with limited mobility is the 49 steep stairs getting down and back up from the water!! We definitely got our workout from that!! Otherwise we were very pleased with this house and the owners were very pleasant and quick in responding!! Recommend this spot for fellow water tuber/skiers!!

We enjoyed our stay at this home at Stillpond. We loved the views of the water...would be a perfect property to enjoy in the summer! We enjoyed a walk on the quiet road, enjoyed watching it snow/ice while we hung out inside! Kitchen was well stocked, which was great for all the cooking we did!
