Just a phenomenal place—tremendous views, great location, very spacious, extremely clean and well appointed and of course Lette and Yoahi are extremely good at getting everything organized. I recommend Casa Ventana or the sister property Villa Ventana as high as possible!!

Ron and Lette's team made my 50th extra special. Ron was very responsive and helpful throughout the booking process. Lette and her team did a great job at the property. The place is amazing and comfortable. I would suggest you have Lette cook for you at least one night. The convenience of her going to Costco for me in advance so the house was ready to go when we arrived was great. I will be staying again and a friend is already planning on booking her 60th here. Casa Ventana was the perfect location for our first visit to beautiful Puerto Vallarta. The location offered easy access to the activity of the Zona Romántica and Playa Los Muertos. The hill-side location may prove challenging for those with mobility limitations, but cabs and Uber are readily available and inexpensive. The noise from the highway below could be intrusive, as others have mentioned, but the bedrooms were quiet if using the air conditioning. Letty and her team provided efficient service. Guests should take advantage of Letty's wonderful cooking. We hope to return soon.

This is my second time at this property and I will continue to come back time and time again. Amazing value to live like a royalty. The views are stunning and the owner could not be more friendly or easy to deal with. Highly recommend!

The wow factor of this property is the 180+ degree views of PV and Bahía de Banderas. After checking out the indoor/outdoor open living space, 2 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, you forget that there is also a rooftop negative edge pool, bar/lounge area, and ANOTHER bedroom and bathroom. Upon our arrival the manager Lette and her assistant met us with fresh margaritas, chips and guacamole before showing us around. It's hard not to take a deep breath and feel relaxed right away. Housekeeping staff did a great job during the stay, and were flexible by asking when we preferred them to arrive each day. It is possible to walk to Zona Romantica, but I wouldn't recommend it if 1) it's raining -- the Amapas streets are narrow, steep and mostly without sidewalks. Would be slippery when wet; 2) if you have any physical difficulties with steep inclines. We did the walk a few times, but much preferred calling an Uber or taxi. If you use a rideshare app make sure you drop a pin on the map and confirm that the correct street address is selected for your pickup. There were a few minor maintenance issues, mostly burned out light bulbs, but nothing that detracted from our amazing stay. Would definitely stay here again.

We have visited PV a number of times, but this was our first VRBO experience, as we have only stayed in hotels previously. No more hotels for us - we will stay at Casa Ventana from now on! Pre-Arrival/Arrival: Ron and his staff are very attentive and professional, offering up lots of helpful information even prior to our arrival to help ensure a wonderful vacation (we used all of their tips and recommendations and they were all great!). They had a cab waiting for us at the airport, and away we went! The Condo: Nothing short of fabulous. The views can't be beat, and while it is located in a condominium complex, the way the units are situated, it feels like you are in a stand-alone home when you're in the condo. Loved the plunge pool - it's bigger than expected, with a shallow ledge section and a deeper section to fully immerse yourself in the water. And did I mention the views? They're spectacular from the pool. Staff: Yoshi, Aurora, and Eugenio were amazing. Yoshi took care of anything we needed and promptly replied to inquiries via text message. We highly recommend that you utilize the meal prep option; Aurora and Eugenio cooked meals that easily rivaled the best restaurants in PV, and the price can't be beat! Location: The condo is conveniently located a short walk from the beach and plenty of shops and restaurants. The Malecon is also a short walk away. There are some portions of the walk that are a bit steep, but this shouldn't deter you from renting this condo. Our group of six (including three teenagers) walked it multiple times every day, but we did once take a taxi because we got caught in a downpour, and it was only 40 pesos (a little over $2). Also, I read in the reviews that someone complained they didn't sleep well because of city noise, and I honestly have no idea what they could be referring to. My husband is a very light sleeper, and we enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep every night! If you want a genuine PV experience in a great location with fabulous staff, Casa Ventana is the place for you!

It's just as it says you open the door and it's all about the view. Laetitia and rafael were amazing Hosts! From the home cooked meals to The amazing Margarita and guacamole. The and houseless aage with wonderful, just a fantastic trip thank you very much. We will be back.

OMG! From the moment we walked in we were mesmerized. Incredible views, great layout and furnishings. Everything you could possibly need from kitchen appliances, gadgets to bedroom and bathroom necessities. After being met at the airport and delivered directly to Casa Ventana (perfect name), we were met by our hosts. They gave us the grand tour of the two bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. OMG was all we could say. Then they showed up the upstairs! VIEWS! VIEWS! VIEWS! The pool, a wet bar and another bedroom, bathroom beckoned us! The pool was very refreshing after roaming the streets, day excursions and just for relaxing! Friends who came to visit were awed by the location, views, grandness of the casa. We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations and our host, who also arranged for in house massages for my husband & I.

It was so nice to wake up to the panoramic view and enjoy our morning coffee. It was equally nice watching the sunset from the pool deck and enjoying our evening cocktail. Lette and her crew were very attentive and kept checking on us to make sure everything was running smoothly.

We were impressed the second we walked into the home. Everything was well maintained and the staff was kind and professional. This villa has terrific views from every room in the house, beds were comfortable, and the Casa Ventana is very well appointed. Looking forward to coming back!

Pros : There were TV's in the bedroom, but I did not once turn them on. I loved just looking out, it's truly beautiful. So if view is your thing, def. rent this place. The staff was great, courteous, and always had whatever we asked available if we needed anything. It was clean, comfy furniture, a fully supplied kitchen for cooking, and it's spacious enough to do a lot in there. Formal eating area, and a great sundeck with another outdoor living area. This is great if you're traveling as couples, or a family that likes their own space. The upstairs has a master with another livingroom in addition to the outdoor one, and the downstairs has another master. Everyone with their own bathroom. It was like staying in separate places. I absolutely loved that. Cons: The walk to and from town is not far at all. I would walk down and back every day, however it is VERY steep hills which go both up and down which I like, however my 71yo father couldn't leave the house in anything but a taxi. So def keep that in mind if you like walking. I loved it, it was a great workout for me, but not someone that has issues or disabilities. But getting a taxi didn't take but 5 min. to call and have it arrive so it's not difficult. and only cost 50 pesos each way. Being close to town too means a lot of noise. Both of us are very soft sleepers, so we'd have to close everything up at night, or during the day for a nap because you hear everything. Which is a shame cause you want to have everything open. It's Casa Ventana, and they mean it. It's all windows, it all opens up, it is the beauty of the place. I loved that about it. The pool Isn't heated, and it's very cold. I'd really recommend getting a solar cover, they're super cheap and heat up water naturally. The sun hits it every day. So I would highly recommend it. I couldn't get more than my feet in, it was that cold and I'm a swimmer on a team, so that was kinda sad cause it's a great place you want to be in. We loved this rental. I write pro's and con's everywhere we stay. If I could live here, I would live in this place. these are just the things I feel is important that people know from my point of view. The owner is very nice, and available whenever we needed him. Def, worth the money too. He even discounted since we stayed 2 weeks. We would rent here again.

Amazing condo with a spectacular view! A short 10 minute walk to the beach or downtown is well worth it. The view and property itself were amazing. Clean, spacious and a gorgeous rooftop deck with dipping pool. The staff were friendly, courteous and attentive. The owner Ron was prompt in returning messages and ensured all questions were answered. We would highly recommend this property to anyone going to PV!

We just returned from 10 amazing days at Casa Ventana. The entire experience was perfect from the beginning to end. Ron Eckstrom, assisted me and answered all questions before we made the reservation. Before our check in day Ron contacted me and put us in contact with Lette, the house manager. Lette did some shopping for us prior to our arrival and coordinated transportation from the airport to Casa Ventana. We were welcomed with margaritas and fresh guacamole and salsa. The place is beyond beautiful; Casa Ventana provides you a bird’s eye view of Bandera Bay and the Romantic Zone. Binoculars are recommended to watch whales and dolphins. The location is very close to the beach, shops and restaurants. At the main road, steps are just across the street to the beach, and cabs/uber are always available. The house has all you need for an unforgettable time with your family and friends. The unit is extremely clean and the staff is awesome. We spent many hours enjoying the view and relaxing by the pool. We can’t wait to return to Casa Ventana. Victor

We loved the location - looking down on all the action but secluded enough to feel relaxed. Lette and her staff are so attentive and took great care of us! The layout and private pool were perfect for our whole family. Would definitely rebook next time we find ourselves in PVR!

Our group of 6 just returned from the most incredible vacation at Casa Ventana! This place was everything we had hoped it would be. Not sure what we loved more...the house or the house manager, Lette,! She was so wonderful in helping with everything and anything we wanted or needed. And her cooking was amazing!!! If you are lucky enough to stay here, definitely take advantage of her skills. We also loved having help from Ruby, who was just a sweetheart. The two of these ladies, along with this house, have me scurrying to rebook in the near future. I have been coming to PV my whole life, and from now on, I never want to stay anywhere else!

This penthouse is very spacious with spectacular views. The bedrooms are large and though they have air conditioning, we never had need to turn them on with the wonderful breezes. Plenty of closet space. The upstairs outdoor seating area is perfect for morning coffee, sunset cocktails or even a private massage. Lette the house manager stocked the house with groceries and made sure we were comfortable every day. The other great advantage is the daily maid service. Though we never saw her, when we returned each day, the apartment was clean with no dirty dishes, with fresh towels and even fresh pool towels presented on the 4 lounge chairs. Perfect!

I don't know where to begin! As is done for everyone, we were greeted to the guacamole etc. The best ever! We had perfect weather. The house is just as pictured and really wonderful! The windows in the Living area are all sliding glass walls and they were never closed! Bedroom windows also. The breezes were always perfect! The home is beautifully designed and Ruby kept it very clean, coming in each day to do beds and dishes. On top of that Leticia (Letty-she prefers Leticia) is a miracle! She prepared two terrific breakfasts, and one luxury dinner. (See has a whole menu for her meals-reasonably priced.) It was my birthday and she even brought an exquisite arrangement of tropical flowers! She does an excellent massage! The unit is surrounded by trees and the birds are gorgeous-even parrots in the trees with the squirrels. There is some traffic noise from service vehicles and there are several roosters who crow in an off beat chorus. There is also an iguana who lives next door (out the living room window) and comes out of the crack in the wall! AND THERE ARE NO BUGS OR MOSQUITOS--ONLY GECKOS! The road up to the house is interesting...almost an "E" ride at Disney. Very fit folks can walk it but it's easier to get a cab. Puerto Vallarta is lovely, with much to do. We went south to Yelapa by taxi and then took boat over to the beach, but we think it is simpler to take a larger boat from P.V. It was a lovely day and I held an iguana! There is also a nice hike to a waterfall. We also rented a car and went north to Sayulita and San Pancho where the beaches are less crowded than P.V. All the beaches are beautiful and food/drinks are available. All in all it was the best vacation with kids (all of them grown) I have ever had! That you Ruby and Leticia!!!

We can't say enough wonderful things about this spectacular property. The views are even better in person! Everything is beautiful, well-maintained, comfortable, private -- anything you could hope for in a tropical getaway. I must say that this property was beyond my expectations. My first surprise was that it was closer to the Malecon than I thought. Still needed a taxi because of the mountains but it was only about a 5 min ride. I had the top floor and it was fantastic. I usually was at the bar and in the pool. My sister was on the 1st floor and it was great. The kitchen was beautiful and it was great to cook with the fantastic view of the bay and the city. Lette was wonderful upon arrival with Margaritas and salsa. Hector the taxi driver was very good and extremely helpful. Unfortunately we did not partake in Lette's cooking services because we all liked to cook and 3 of the 5 of us were from Mexico so we had a great variety of Mexican and American cuisine. I would certainly do this again. This was the first time I stayed away from being right on the Malecon in Old Town and I was reluctant at first but very pleasantly surprise at how wonderful this experience was. I would certainly recommend this condo!

We recently returned from a week long vacation at Casa Ventana. While a week of sun, relaxation and beachside drinks met our expectations, I must say that our experience at Casa Ventana greatly exceeded our expectations. This is greatly due to the house manager Lette and also Ruby. Before we arrived, Lette arranged our transportation from the airport to the house. We arrived and she had expertly stocked our fridge with an assortment of beer and wine that we had requested. She also had homemade margaritas, salsa and guacamole waiting for us. The house was even more beautiful than the pictures. The view is phenomenal, especially from the plunge pool that backs up to the bedroom on the second floor. The bedroom on the top floor was incredibly private and the air conditioner worked perfectly. The two bedrooms on the ground floor were also very comfortable and opened to the open air living room and kitchen. I have seen some people complain about the hill to get to the main road, but this was not a problem at all. It was a little bit of a hike, but provided a great opportunity to work off some calories. If we called a cab, it was usually there within 5-10 minutes. The best part of the property is definitely dealing with Lette and Ruby. They were always genuinely kind and helpful, quick to offer a smile, a margarita or any thing to help improve the stay in the house or Puerto Vallarta. We had breakfast prepared daily and 3 dinners during the week. The food provided was the best we had all trip and Lette and Ruby made it feel like we were sitting down to family dinner. It was always nice to see that they also seemed to enjoy preparing the meals together! The house was cleaned daily during the trip. Groceries were also replenished daily. Felt like being at home, just with a much better view and a much less stress. I cannot wait for our group to return!

My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon here and we could not be happier with our stay. The property is perfectly located in Puerto Vallarta. It is easy to walk to many destinations and the taxi service is very quick. Lette made arrangements for us to be picked up at the airport and when we got to the penthouse, the guacamole and margaritas made our day! We also requested Lette make ceviche which was the best ceviche we had on our trip. Ruby cleaned the place and was quick, thorough, and friendly. The property itself is just as the pictures suggest. The upper deck with the pool was surprisingly private; that may be due, in part, to us traveling at the end of May when there aren't a lot of tourists. Each room is tastefully decorated and it feels like you are staying in a home in Mexico. The master suite bed is very comfortable and the open air breeze has to be one of the highlights of our trip. It feels so relaxing to have that brisk dry Pacific salt air flowing through the rooms. When we come back we will be sure to rent this property again. The owner has the details all figured out and made everything smooth as silk. His manager and chef arranged everything for us from transportation to tours to wonderful meals at the home. The place looks just as good as the pictures - absolutely wonderful views of Puerto Vallarta and plenty of space for our family of 6 to spread out. Clean and well maintained, with maid service daily. Take advantage of the house chef - her meals were delicious and graciously served. Spacious gathering areas on both floors are plenty big for a group of 6. The terrace on the top floor has room to sit in sun or shade near the plunge pool. It is on a hill, very close to the Malecon and an area of restaurants and shops. We highly recommend this property!

Staying at Casa Ventana was an excellent experience, from beginning to end. The condo has amazing ocean views. The condition of the building, this particular unit, and the furniture is all excellent. Ron and Letty were extremely friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommended.
