We had the very best stay at this spacious, comfortable, beautiful home. We cannot find any fault. Terry the homeowner was an excellent communicator and went out of his way to make sure that we were informed. Rosario the maid was an absolute sweetie & Guadalupe the chef cooked some delicious food. This was a gorgeous slice of paradise.

This was our second year for a long weekend in this house. The house is incredible. Guadalupe (chef) is incredible and funny. Alfredo is very helpful and always responsive. Small critique on this trip is the pool was not kept as clean as last year. Algae crept in on day 2. I have no doubt it was taken care of after our stay and will not be an issue in the future. We will see you next year.

You know the phrase “pictures just don’t do it justice”…the thing is, the pictures are actually very beautiful, and had we gotten exactly what was pictured, we would’ve been more than satisfied. This place is absolutely stunning. The view from anywhere in the house is breathtaking. 3 min taxi ride to a gorgeous sand and beautiful rock beach. Never crowded. Staff incredibly helpful and kind. Host is wonderful and communication is on point. Cook/maid and property manager all wonderful people. Highly recommend and will certainly be returning.

The property is absolutely beautiful. The location to the town of Puerto Vallarta is perfect. We had numerous meals prepared by Guadalupe & Lynette. They are fantastic women, creating beautiful meals. It feels as though the sunset is placed right in the middle of Casa Joanne's view. Unbelievable. There is a fireworks show that we had the pleasure of watching (Thursday night) that was literally right in front of our Villa. The pool is perfect. We all concluded that each of our rooms was "the best" room. Which means - all bedrooms are exceptional. Uber was so quick and so CHEAP. Highly recommend El Dorado, La Palapa, and Blue Shrimp for nice meals out. Exceptional food - spectacular service. Margarita time & Andale's were fun for drinks. Felt safe EVERYWHERE we went. The people of Puerto Vallarta are lovely. My daughter did get her card case stolen while in town, so be careful with your personal items - it happens. I can't imagine staying anywhere but this beautiful home. Only negative was the roof was being repaired/replaced. My son & daughter were woken up to banging every morning and could see the workers through the window. Not ideal. But this project will likely be complete after our stay and nothing another guest will have to deal with.

A magical place to stay! We highly recommend it. Terry is amazing to work with pre-vacation, Alfredo was the perfect house manager, Rosario was a wonderful housekeeper and Guadalupe was an incredibly chef. The house was wonderful...truly an extraordinary vacation!

Our family stayed here (four adult sons and a daughter-in-law plus my husband and I) the week of another son's wedding. What a fabulous house. Since one couple has been out of the country for the past two months, this was the perfect coming together space. We loved the uniqueness of each suite. Everyone felt catered to and special in this spectacular home. We truly did not need to leave other than for the wedding and rehearsal. It was the perfect comfortable space to host out-of-town family members for a drink and conversation. We loved the open air rooms and never felt the need to use the air conditioning. The unique bathrooms added to the ambiance of each suite as well. Rosario quietly went about her chores keeping the place in tip top shape daily. Guadalupe was a joy and wonderful chef. Thank you to Alfredo for insuring all was well at check in and arranging our chef and great boat tour. We did actually take the boat tour booked with Juan via Vikago. Chamas was our captain for the Mona Lisa - value priced, fun experience for all of us. We also took the Canopy River ATV,zipline, mule ride one day. Highly recommend it. We were sad to leave and look forward to a return visit with some other couples. It would be remiss to exclude the open and positive conversation prior to our trip with the owner, Terry Hale. You were absolutely correct - we had a great trip!

We have been coming to Puerto Vallarta for over 37 years. This was the best stay we’ve ever had hands-down. We have stayed at some of the top properties in the area of Conchas Chinas and this smokes them all.

The owner of this hope sets the stage for a great experience well in advance of your arrival. We have stayed here twice now and wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. The layout of the house and views of the sunset are unmatched.

He made some of the best margs and the fresh gauc, pico and chips were simply amazing. The staff was a big part of the experience. Rosario who kept the place spotless and made all our beds, while being discreet, Guadalupe, the chef, who made amazing me Terry, we met up with William, your friend and the owner of the Barcelona Tapas (wow - what a restaurant). And the place - Casa Joanne. Words can't explain how beautiful this place is. We stayed there for 5 days. We really, didn't have to go anywhere. There was so much to explore right inside. Every piece of painting, every light fixture, every sink is beautiful. Everything works, not a light switch that doesn't work and there are so, so many of them. And the accent lighting is absolutely romantic. The infinity pool was fabulous. Our family was in the pool for so long. The audio system (you can pair your Bluetooth and listen to your own music). Don't forget the sunsets - absolutely mind blowing. Believe it or not, we saw a whale, right from the pool. I had to take a few business calls and the office space in the master bedroom was perfect and the internet bandwidth (200 Mbps down and 90 Mbps up) was fantastic. Vallarta is such a cool place. So many great restaurants, people are super friendly, we felt completely safe, both in terms of sheer security and covid protocols. Everyone masks up, outdoor dining everywhere. Overall, we had the best of times. Made so many memories and as a family we owe Terry a debt of gratitude for sharing one of his houses with us for the five days. Thank you Terry and staff. -Hari

We just completed our stay here today and we were so sad to leave! Everything was so wonderful from the very beginning. We traveled as a family of five with two teens and an 11 year old. We had so much space. The view is absolutely perfect and we watched whales in the bay almost every single day!! Check in and out was super simple. We preordered some drinks to stock the fridge and they were there when we arrived. The property manager was so helpful! The cleaning lady was an absolute saint and we hired the chef to cook for us breakfast and dinner and she was amazing! We ate at some of the recommended places the owner left for us. Everything could not have been better. This house is absolutely gorgeous. We hope to return!

What an amazing stay!! We have been traveling to Puerto Vallarta for the past 30 years and this place is amazing!!! From the great communication with the property owner to the amazing staff our stay couldn’t have been better!! Pictures do not do this place justice, it is just spectacular!! Can’t wait to return!!

From the very beginning to leaving the house today, everything went smoothly, the house is gorgeous, Alfredo was helpful and Rosario the housekeeper was fantastic. I will definitely return without hesitation!

This property was perfect for four ladies. All of the bedrooms were large with a great view. The living area had several different seating arrangements and the kitchen had everything that you would need. There was only one slight distraction and that was road noise and the disco on the beach. The neighbors in the 6 unit location were very nice and accommodating.

Once arriving, Terry was awsome .. driver was awsome the house is beautiful! The location is perfect.. the view is beautiful! A MUST STAY!!! GONNA BE BACK!

Felt well cared for from the moment we landed. From the manager, to housekeeper and the cooks we could not have asked for any better service. Team has been together for 10-15 years and it shows.

We absolutely loved celebrating a dear friend’s birthday in Puerto Vallarta. The house is in a beautiful area and has all the amenities one could ask for. The staff was incredibly helpful and it was wonderful to wake up to breakfast every morning. We loved lounging on the patio watching the boats go by. Five stars and we will definitely keep this house in mind for when we return. Thank you!

A luxurious vacation villa that can include a driver, chef and domestic service to make your stay a wonderful experience. You can go out and enjoy the sights and sounds of Puerto Vallarta, or you can relax in the infinity pool where you can witness beautiful sunsets! Terry, the owner, is on point with making sure your stay at the casa is perfect I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful home for the ultimate vacation experience.

Terry the owner was excellent at coordinating the details of the trip. The house was beautiful, with an incredible infinity pool and amazing views of the ocean. Definitely recommend having the chef come for meals, especially breakfast. Location was very safe and very accessible by Uber.

I stayed here with a group of 8 for a long weekend and we had a blast. The property was beautiful, the chef-cooked meals were delicious and a steal, getting to the zona romantica and playa los mueretos was a simple $2-3 USD uber ride. I would definitely come back!

The home is perfectly arranged for multiple couples or a large family. This home has every amenity needed to enjoy a week away but still have the comforts of home. We had a wonderful time and will be back in the future!

This was our first trip to PV and hopefully it won't be our last! Magnificent weather, great beach time, and a beautiful home treated us during our week in Mexico. We have used VRBO for numerous trips and vacations and this was the nicest home we have yet to stay in. Nestled in the hills of Conchas Chinas, we had an incredible view of the ocean, the bay, and the beaches. We had one of the best views of the many firework displays on New Years Eve from the porch and patio area. We generally started the day with a run down to the beach and up the boardwalk into old town PV. We spent our afternoons just down the hill at the Conchas Chinas beach. FYI...its a pretty good incline up and down the hill but we did it 2-3 times a day without issues. For those not interested in the walk uphill, it was easy to catch a $3 taxi ride from Linda Mar hotel which was located right next to the beach. After the beach, we would spend the afternoons quietly around or in the beautiful infinity pool. Again, the pictures are great but the actual view is even better! The casa is very private and you will not be bothered by anyone as you are in the top villa. The house is very open and we found the accommodations perfect for the three couples that stayed at the house. Each bedroom is a suite with a bathroom and shower, all with views of the ocean. We opened all the windows and doors on arrival and did not have to close them the whole vacation. It was so peaceful sleeping at night overlooking the ocean with fans overhead and the netting pulled down around the beds. No bugs either! For meals, we stopped for provisions on the way from the airport and did not have to shop again. There are lots of eateries close by and downtown and we enjoyed a number of them. We arranged to have Guadelupe and friend cook two dinner meals and the food was fantastic (filet and salmon one night and fajitas the second night). We could have easily stayed at home for every meal but wanted to get out and try the local restaurants...it was fun to be down on the boardwalk in the evenings as there were always lots of activities and people milling around the beach. As for making arrangements with the owner, Terry is first class and is quick to respond and very thorough on his preparations. We had each member of our traveling party read through the guide to the home as well as area recommendations before the trip. We literally had no surprises and everything worked and was in place as it was said to be!

First and foremost, this is a great property for small group stay...everyone has their privacy, a great view and when together in dinning room, on the patio or by the pool there is room for all and the views are never ending. Terry was spot on with his 'lay of the land' and PV recommendations. Alfredo was great with property logistics and amenities use. Rosario keeps the place looking great & Lupe's cooking of local favorites is fresh and delicious. Thank you Terry for the first night set up service, allowed us to arrive with food and beverages waiting making our arrival a relaxing evening. Conchas Chinas is a quiet, safe community and local taxi is familiar w/property and ver prompt on the few times we ventured into town. My wife is happiest when her children are all under the same roof, this place was perfect for our family Christmas getaway.

I cannot express how beautiful this villa was. Everything in the description is spot on. The views from every room were truly amazing. Every picture I shared would receive a Wow or Incredible response. There were 4 adults, 2 teens, and one eight year old child during our stay and we all have nothing but positive things to say. We were afraid the "teens" were going to be bored in the teen eyes since they are use to staying at resorts which is a whole different atmosphere but they were happy to have Wi-Fi and a quick taxi ride into town and that's all they needed. Guadalupe cooked us some amazing meals that near the end of our vacation we questioned why we were going out to eat some days. I'd like to thank the owner for responding quickly to my numerous questions and for providing us with so much information regarding the Villa and the area. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay in your Villa and we hope to return in the near future.

One of the best vacations ever! This is the second time staying at Casa Joanne and it was as wonderful this time as it was 4 years ago. This is one of the premier residential buildings in Puerto Vallarta's Conchas Chinas neighborhood and after 20 or more stays in Puerto Vallarta it's difficult to stay anywhere else. Excellent service and you can't beat the open feeling of being on top of this enormous building living in the lap of luxury yet feeling very much at home. The owners provide a beautiful environment for a great family/friends getaway vacation where you are actually paying less to stay with people that you know and love than you would in a hotel yet provided with twice the service, amenities and appeal. The best beach in PV is a 5 min. walk down the cobblestone streets or you could just soak up the views from any room in the house. Rosario takes great pride in providing friendly service while taking care of the villa and stays out of everyone's way as much as possible. Guadalupe prepared delicious meals for us everyday that we are all sorely missing. No regrets here and we will definitely be staying at Casa Joanne again!

First off, I would like to thank the owners of Casa Joanne for such an incredible penthouse located in the "Beverly Hills" of Puerto Vallarta. Upon arriving to the house all we could say was, "OH MY GOD!!" The view is spectacular, the bottom level of the house is completely open, the rooms are immaculate and the hospitality provided by Alfredo & Rosario were top notch. This is by far one of the best places I've stayed before in my lifetime. The photos on this site are great & accurate, however you must see it to believe it. They have a maid there each day from 9-1PM/ Mon-Sat and Alfredo makes himself available to you 24hours a day with his cell # conveniently programmed into the cordless phone in the kitchen. The owner of this property was extremely responsive the entire time leading up to our travel date. He provided us with additional information packets regarding the property, activities, restaurants, swimming with the dolphins and much more. Very professional and hospitable. I would highly recommend this property to anyone traveling to PVR. In fact, we now are making this our annual Vacation and feel there is absolutely no need to stay anywhere else other than Casa Joanne. Adios Casa Joanne & Puerto Vallarta.... Until next time. Amazing views, wide open airy space with beautiful decor, minutes from downtown, polite-friendly maid and pool service, and amenities galore. I can't say enough so I won't continue to try.
