Everything was perfect! The house was absolutely gorgeous and a perfect location. The kitchen was awesome and had everything you could ever need. We had the best time and want to return asap!

This was our second stay at Ellie's. I can't imagine a more perfect place for a Santa Fe getaway. We could walk to the plaza, numerous restaurants, and a grocery store. The house is extremely well stocked with everything a person might need. We were so thankful for the air conditioning over that warm weekend too!

A true southwestern experience. The property was lovely with many artistic and architectural points of interest. Anything you could possibly need was provided including books and guides for the area. It provided easy access to touring, shopping and great restaurants. Would recommend it to anyone traveling to Santa Fe.

We fell in love with Ellie's place from the moment we stepped foot in the door. It is a beautiful home that had every possible thing we could need, was in a lovely neighborhood, and a short walk to downtown Santa Fe. What a delight for a first visit to both Ellie's & Santa Fe. Reina was an absolutely outstanding host & I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting Santa Fe.

The house had lots of charm plus everything you could need during your stay. Location was perfect for walking to lots of fun destinations.

This may be the best stocked VRBO we have ever stayed in! All the kitchen tools, appliances and enough plates, silverware etc for 12 people. They welcome you with a bottle of local wine, a full bag of coffee and a fresh creamer! A private garage - almost unheard of, owners usually keep them locked up. Enough firewood for a weeks worth of fires stacked outside ready for use. Has 3 separate outdoor areas that looked nice but was too cold for us to use. A nice fire pit or patio heater would be a great addition there. The beds were a tad on the firm side but were nice and the sheets and towels were great. Location is a short walk to downtown and pretty much anywhere you want to go. Highly recommend this property and will stay here again on our next trip!

Can say enough good things about this property. Clean, charming, supplies and amenities are all superlative. We had 3 couples in our group and the size was perfect for spending time together, but gave us our own space when we needed it. We all loved that we were walking distance from so much to do!

The kitchen was very well stocked. The 3 BR, 2 BA house was very spacious. Large common area to enjoy the fireplace.

This is a beautiful classic Santa Fe property located on a quiet street near the capital. We loved the New Mexican interior including the corner fireplace, furniture, and well appointed kitchen. There are 3 delightful outside areas for enjoying the sun and chatting. We appreciated the garage, easy entry with codes, and clear, helpful instructions on handling trash and what's needed upon leaving (not much!) We will TRY to get back in our next trip back!

We were four adults - 2 women, one couple - and Ellie’s place was perfect! Reina (the host) was especially welcoming and responsive to questions, and supplied us with many necessities, including coffee, half & half, paper towels, shampoo and conditioner, hand and dish soap - and best of all, a bottle of wine waiting for us to enjoy! The location was ideal for access to the historic downtown area, restaurants and shopping - 15 minute walk. All in all, a brilliant experience! Thank you!

Our group of 5 friends often take short trips, and as New Mexicans, several of them have been to Santa Fe. My past choices were very good, but we all agree that I outdid myself with Ellie's place. The house is a perfect SF home, decorated beautifully, and stocked with everything we could want. If we wanted to cook, which we did not, every tool we would have needed was there. The location is excellent, walkable to some places, and a short distance drive to everything else. I was looking for nice outdoor spaces in this wonderful fall weather, and Ellie's has three! Our Host, Reina, was full of information, and reached out to me to make sure everything was in order, but all was well from the beginning. She definitely deserved her classification as a Super Host. We will be back! And I mean that as my family loves SF as well as my friends. Thanks so much Reina!

Would definitely book resort if staying in Santa Fe

Property was really awesome. The best santafe design with attention to lovely details. Short walk to downtown. The shopping was fabulous!

We had a wonderful weeklong stay at Ellie's place. We were in Santa Fe for our daughter's wedding. The location was perfect: easy to drive or walk to downtown or Museum Hill. It is in a great neighborhood. There is an outside patio off of the front entrance that was great this time of year for morning coffee or just relaxing in the afternoon with a book. And there are two other private outside areas as well! Inside, as described by others, it is roomier than you might think from the photos, with lots of places to sit and relax. Although we ate out most of the time, the kitchen is very well equipped, and the morning coffee package that Reina provided was greatly appreciated! We would stay here again.

We travel SantaFe annually for the opera. This lovely VRBO is nestled in a great neighborhood near the plaza. It is elevated enough that it has beautiful Mountain View’s from the patio and gardens. It accommodates a family quite comfortably. Hope to stay there again.

Very nice , ideal location to downtown Plaza, restaurants, museums, shopping, Native American artisans- my group enjoys walking together and exploring all the local sites

The house is beautiful, well appointed, comfortable and quiet. We cooked a few nights and all the tools we needed were already in the spacious kitchen, including some Reidel stemware from one of the wine festivals. We really enjoyed relaxing in the gardens and on the patios with some of the local wines too. The location can't be beat as many great restaurants and attractions are only a short distance away. The Farmer's Market, Wine Festival and Opera were all interesting and fun. Santa Fe is a Foodie Paradise. From the house you can walk to Kakawa Chocolate House and you simply must at least once; they have fancy chocolates, drinking chocolate and the best chocolate ice cream I've ever eaten. The local market is only a few blocks away and has fresh bread, produce, cheeses and prime steak. :) A smaller vehicle would probably be best in the city and neighborhoods but I was able to unload and park a Ford Explorer at Ellie's and maneuver all around the city without any problems. Reina is an excellent host and answered any questions we had promptly. She also reached out afterwards to let us know they had found an item of clothing and then mailed it back to us which was super thoughtful. Looking forward to our next visit at Ellie's Buena Vista in Santa Fe!

We had a fabulous time at Ellie’s cottage. It was me, my husband, our 2 daughters and their significant others. It was plenty big for all of us. The wine waiting for us was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. We loved relaxing in all of the optional outdoor seating areas! Also loved the location and being able to easily walk to the downtown Just as an FYI for future renters, bring shampoo/conditioner. Thank you, Reina!! 🌟

What an amazing time we had in Santa Fe. Our house was beautiful and accommodated us perfectly. We could easily walk to the main square and enjoy the restaurants and museums. We hope to come back sometime soon.

The house was as described. Easy walk to town, nice area. I would stay again. Master bedroom did not get cool from the swamp cooler but the weather was not too hot so it was fine. In the summer time this could be an issue. Otherwise everything was great.

This was a fantastic property and experience. We never had to reach out for questions as everything we needed was answered ahead of time. But, we felt like we could reach out had we needed anything.

We LOVED our stay at Ellie’s. The location was excellent. Quiet neighborhood with off street parking and garage. Walking distance to the Plaza with shopping and restaurants. The house was wonderful Santa Fe adobe. We wished we could have stayed a few more days just to enjoy this beautiful property with its beautiful yard, well equipped kitchen, and my favorite, the Saltillo floors. Cannot wait until our next Santa Fe visit!

Reina provided us with a very enjoyable stay in Santa Fe. The house is conveniently close to the Plaza and Museum Hill and the State Capitol building. The interior is delightfully decorated and invites the guest to explore each intriguing object. The master bed is very comfortable. A bottle of wine, bag of coffee, and creamer welcomed us making for an easy start for our vacation. The house was very quiet and we felt safe in the neighborhood. I can't remember hearing road noise or neighbors even once. Reina graciously worked with us to reschedule our stay when our initial time did not work out. The listing for the property is accurate and we would certainly stay here again when visiting charming Santa Fe!

Reina’s property was very nice and comfortable. The kitchen was very well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the location was perfect. We appreciated the information provided about the places to go and see in the area, and Reina was available if we needed anything. If we go back to Santa Fe, as there is still so much we didn’t get a chance to see or do, we will hope her home is available.

A lovely home with helpful owners, this was the perfect place for our family of four (including two teens). The home is spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated with Southwest flair. It’s also well-located and within walking distance to the Plaza and Statehouse. When we return to Santa Fe, this is where we’ll stay.

Ellie's house was a wonderful 3 bedroom 2 bath home with all the amenities one could want. The main living room/dining room/kitchen was comfortable and offered a wood burning fireplace. The floorplan was perfect for 3 ladies who travel together but have different sleep/awake times because it was so quiet. The kitchen is very well appointed and the welcome bottle of wine and coffee was a very nice touch. The house is on a sloped lot so there are stairs from the street but a car can be parked at the side of the house for access at the house level for those who cannot do stairs. In warmer weather there are lovely areas to sit outside and enjoy the mountain views. The house is filled with New Mexico art & ceramics and has a coziness that made our stay truly wonderful. We would definitely book this fabulous house again!
