Too expensive for the standard. Difficult to locate. Not clean, shared toilet and shower. Heating system not working, terribly cold room, end up with cold symptoms due to freezing room

Great area, close to busses. very nice people in the house and great landlord!

i liked that it was straightforward. like everything else it’s ok until there is an unexpected situation and how it’s handled. as for me I was a dream tenant for anyone on short stay. i work 11-8. in my first week I only made it back 2ce. i work 1-2 hrs away. there were some housemates which where pleasant for as much as we crossed paths.

if you drive a car may not be the best, if you don’t like the smell of food you’re used to may not be the best, if you’re counting on using communal areas may not be the best as the other tenants have a kid and in the morning it’s unwritten that it belongs to them. there is no practical way to get in between a family of a wife a husband and kid sharing one double room in the same house. there is a weird neighbour to be weary off. landlord says don’t let him in and don’t open the door for him. i wonder how this would work if you’re to turn everyone away and be expecting an Amazon parcel. if you’re talking all pleasantries you would hear from the landlord. if it becomes something he isn’t expected or required to do good luck waiting on a reply. personally I’d never stay here again. i think the landlord can be professional to an extent but his comms are not exceptional or great for that matter as each time he talks is to sell himself or the place. you likely would have a great time outside this if you’re just in and out like me but don’t expect anything one percent above the normal. the place to park the cars is untarred dark and left me scared most times as I got back late. In the rain it’s just crazy getting from the car to the house. almost half a street away though parking isn’t promised on the listing. my most bitter experience was the cherry on the cake which is the blatant rude ignoring of my messages when I offered 50£ less than he wanted for a month for a room. quite disappointing and rude for the tenant I had been.

Where to start, box room 6ft6' by 6ft...blinds useless, bathroom mold all around 1990s shower. Doors being slammed by other guests all night, this is not a place to stay....and the best till last £330 for this room for 4 nights!!!

absolutely nothing to like about this house. it was disgusting. we paid £230 for a vile room

everything! the bathroom toilet brush was absolutely disgusting, the bedroom felt damp and was very dirty and needed decorating. for the amount we paid it should have been at least clean to a professional standard.

I managed to get it at very short notice after being let down by another air bnb whom didn’t give correct details and left me stranded! The house was clean and tidy, room was comfortable and clean, good facilities and easy to access.

Honestly : I have never been in such a untidy accomodation ever! It was absolutely incredibly. Bathrooms - dirty. Kitchen - dirty, fridge - have they ever clean the doors? This ishouse for 6-7 people and there arent enought dishes. The chrome trash bin - disgusting,I couldnt even look at it. Never been washed. I could eat there. We had to take it outside. And downstair bedroom - with rot (mold). I had breathing difficulties and my asthma came back. And in the end - owner came unannounced from the back yard around 23hours??? He really scared me. This stay was not pleasant. It was very stressful!

The host was helpful on arrival and departure.

No curtains at the window resulting in us waking up at 6.00 am every morning due to daylight. Noisy room next to the front door. Garden over grown. It looks like a derelict house on arrival. We thought we were in the wrong place.

Stayed there for 3 days. It is a beautiful house. Well organized.

Clean. Descent area. Quiet. You have an access to a kitchen. The owner is helpful. Back yard.

Lovely experience as always, will come again
