Large and spacious - liked having a large table and seating area

Not advised that they were basement apartments down a very narrow spiral stair No tv remote and the tv wasn’t visible from the bed due to a large pillar - not that I was there to watch but the option would have been nice. Didn’t look like the pictures and as such I felt the pricing was a little high. There was a smell of sewage in the bathroom and toilet. To be fair, one of this was addressed during our stay so I’m not saying that these issues were ignored - we were on a quick trip so didn’t advise the apartment contact of these issues while we were there. We had two apartments booked - the other basement appt had a wooden ladder hanging on the wall to climb to the windows if required - not very safe!

The host has kindly provided some mugs etc for coffee and things to make hot drinks. There is no where to wash these things up except the shower room. which is fine, but as a bit of a clean freak I would have preferred not to do that. Also I would have appreciated some instructions relating to recycling, as we had a lot of plastic water bottles and I didn’t know where to put them.

It had all amenities you would need for a short stay.

The bed was way too soft for me.

Poor no cafes near by but a supermarket near by.

The accommodation was a apartment it had 1 cup 1 mug no cereal dishes 1 knife no toaster no cooking facilities no tv remote no sink. The apartment was a basement, The windows/fire escape were very high a stepladder hung on the wall it was to short to use to get out of a window (DANGEROUS). The double bed was 2 singles held together with a double sheet and 2 singles on top

On arrival the apartment we had booked had been given to someone else by mistake we were told this after calling numerous times to get through to someone. The room was dirty, bins were full, only a couple of lights worked the room was really dark. We booked a double bed and it was two singles not fastened together (so kept on slipping down the middle was very uncomfortable)very bad smell coming from the shower, no tv remote( the apartment obviously hadn’t been cleaned from the previous guests) heating only came on for 2 hours a day was absolutely freezing. We were also supposed to have a bottle of champagne on arrival and we didn’t.

Bed sheets had stains, coffee machine had brown coloured water and mould in, apartment smelt of damp, double bed was two singles put together which had a gap which was uncomfortable.

The location was great for travelers; easy access to town centre (walking, bus links)

Ventilation was really poor; No TV remote, TV located behind beam in room so even to watch wasn’t possible. Cement flooring which wasn’t comfortable if you don’t have shoes on at all times.

The bathroom was large and clean.

The room was accessible using a steep spiral staircase down to this basement apartment. The on line picture did not reflect a basement apartment. It was cold and rainy but we didn't turn on the heat because it looked like the control was broken. There was a flat screen TV but it was unplugged, no cable or satellite connection and no remote control. There was a kitchen table with a few mismatched plates and glasses/cups but no microwave or any way to heat food and no sink to wash dishes in. The spider others have mentioned was still in the corner.

The stairs to the property were totally unsuitable for the elderly or informed. There was no access to WiFi without actually asking a neighbour , ! The owner never answered the phone and ignored various requests to supply WiFi. details.The bathroom radiator and fan did not work….. Unable to get towels dried. Very poor customer service.

The bathroom was indeed modern and possibly recently refurbished. Decent size.

Contact with the owner very limited. I was trying to phone them but there was no reply and they did not phone back. 1. Pictures show a very nice, clean apartment with what looks like wooden flooring. It's not, it's concrete so I recommend that you take slippers with you. 2. It says there is a tumble dryer but we didn't see it. 3. Very dissapointed in regards to supplies. No cutlery, 3 sad plastic cups (coffee and tea provided but I can't imagine making it in a plastic cup!), some tea and coffee and sugar. 4. The apartment was full of dust - see pics. 5. It is listed as ground floor apartment , it's not - you're basically sleeping in the basement. And if you have any mobility problems it would be quite hard to get to it as stairs leading to - 1 floor are very steep. 6. Description says that they provide toiletries, they don't. We had to buy stuff to get us through the weekend. See pics on what was provided - almost used toothpaste, travel size mens shower gel and shampoo. 7. Wi-Fi - working ok but if you want the password don't forget to ask for it when you first phone to check in as if you try to phone them again they don't answer. 8. The apartment is listed to have flat screen TV. It does but they forgot to mention they don't provide a remote control for it, so its just a decoration on the wall. 9. Some ligths were hanging off the ceiling! Really dissapointing stay I must say and we travel a lot. I would try and find something better, especially for the price (€200 a night). The bed was SO comfy, bathroom was lovely and the hosts helpful as possible from a distance.

The general standard of the apartment was lower than I expected for such a price. No mugs for the kettle/coffee machine, and the host wasn’t able to then provide these after we raised this issue. Some interesting smells from drains but it is a basement flat. Also met 3 very large spiders on different nights. Outside door is very stiff, we were stuck outside for 20mins at 11:30pm as the key wouldn’t work.

Location of the apartment is quite good as well a the cleanliness

Poor equipment. No glasses, cup, cutlery, plates, microwave, no bathroom soap and shampoo. Mechanical ventilation in bathroom and toilet seem not working. Insulation not great (we heard a lot our neighbors walking up/down the stairs)

the sound proofing is 0. we heard single step and word from people who living next to us and upstairs. it’s not written about that room is on the basement, so it was pretty difficult to bring our luggages down( we were two girls). I added pictures of stairs. No greeting letter with wifi password and other details. furniture is super dirty. no cutlery. the mattress is falling down during the sleep because it’s two single pieces and bed doesn’t have a bed frame. there’s one key with which u can open all all the doors, not sure if it’s safety enough. no service at all. not even small battle of water.
