The room was clean, Shower was clean, bed sheets were clean... Cant really go wrong with the Hilton Brand

i was booked into a disability room - the ensuite was a wet room, the floor got soaked from the shower and had to place towels on the floor to stop all of the water spreading, the wash hand basin was too low for a 6'2" person, the bed was too low, TV channels were few, no Netflix, etc, lack of tea options - no peppermint for instance! Carpets were looking tired as was the silicon in the wet room, the wash hand basin enamel is worm / pitted, toilet roll holder being on the disabled arm that needs to be lowered is not great and lack of location for a second toilet roll unless it sits on the cistern - also not great!

It was clean and welcoming in the reception area breakfast was nice too

The room was small and my view wasn’t the best, I was on the 1st floor, my kettle was broken

The shower door was weird and I was too scared to use the shower because of it. Paying for parking sucked but it is a big city so fair enough. £32.00 was a lot for parking though.

The office Chair didn’t work, preventing me from comfortably working at the desk. So I asked for it to be changed, but it was just the same. Kettle wouldn’t work unless you held the button down manually. (I didn’t bother to mention it during my short stay as my mention of the chair had not been actioned. There were blue bottle flies on the fresh produce next to the hotplate. They should have been covered…very unhygienic. Room service was delivered in a paper bag like a cheap takeaway. The chips were in a melted plastic bag, which must be a health hazard. The only good thing about my stay was the staff

Amazing location with minimal to know noise pollution. Very comfortable room with all the amenities available; the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was lovely as it was a hot day. The staff were all very friendly and personable. Would definitely recommend

Awful bed, definitely broken. Bathroom in dire state lots of attention needed. Staff very rude, did not want to be there almost made me feel like i was a chore. (besides breakfast staff they were great) for price not worth it at all - places in same area looked in better condition. Car parking (we booked the hotel one) very expensive and really bad carpark - if you have a big car would not recommend.

Very close to Utilita Arena. Was my main purpose. Clean , comfortable & friendly, easy to get to . Approx 25 mins walk from New Street Station, 8 mins in car . Perfect.

The staff , food and general vibe is lovely!

We booked the romance package and when we got there (4pm) we were unable to checkin because the room had not been sorted even though we came at midday to drop our bags early and was assured it’d be ready in an hour. We then asked for 4 soft drinks but got Prosecco instead and one of us does not drink which was a bit of a disappointment. Our AC wasn’t working but not sure if this is bc we also had our window open and the bathroom door was extremely stiff to close

The breakfast was very good we booked an evening meal my wife had lamb shank which was full of fat we explained this to the waitress who replied I'll poss on your comments Not really good enough for what we paid for it

Good location, easy check in/out.

Bathroom was small and cramped. Couldn't turn off AC/Heater fan so noisy all night with a green flashing light.

The location was perfect for our needs, which is why I had booked well in advance and also paid for car parking in very close proximity.

Unfortunately we didn't make it to our room as they moved us to another hotel! We waited over an hour and were told conflicting information - also advised by the taxi that drove us to the alternative hotel that this happens often - a sad case of overbooking! If they had been honest with us and perhaps offered a discount or refunded the breakfast payment we may have softened a little at having to be moved. I am a great believer in being honest and up front, but felt we were led a merry dance.

Staff were lovely and the location was spot on. Check in was easy. Accommodation was basic- clean and tidy.

Over £30 for breakfast if not pre paid for two of us didn't spoil the experience but was really ok. The booking states Car Parking and THERE IS NO CAR PARKING OR CONCESSIONS FOR IT- naughty really should have been clearer. Lucky we have endless amount of money (not).
