This is the best location in Oxford. The adjacent restaurant is fabulous. We ate breakfast and dinner there three times because it's so good plus it offers room service. The room was spacious with a view of the terrace.

Staff very friendly and accommodating. Restaurant attached Qoud was fantastic. Location was perfect for seeing the city as the hop on hop off bus stops just done the road.

It's not a great idea to drive in Oxford because there aren't many places where you can park and the city is designed to be pedestrian/cyclist friendly. For that reason staying in a hotel with very short walking distance to everything was very convenient. They were able to book the parking space in the hotel in advance which put my mind at ease. (They even allowed parking earlier than check in and taking the car a couple of hours after the check out because there was availability)
The room didn't have a view but it was nicely designed.
Corridors were a maze. They need better and legible signage. The room had a bit of a damp/old house smell.

Couldn’t fault the helpfulness of the staff, everyone was incredibly welcoming and a delight to interact with. The facilities in the room were also fantastic, thank you Old Bank Team for a great stay.

Atmospheric, Christmasy and the room had all the usual bedroom accessories that some hotels still haven’t returned to Post Covid.
Nothing. I asked at check out how much the umbrellas were and very pleasantly surprised to discover they are complimentary… a huge bonus, I will definitely return to obtain another one. daughters at Uni so there’s lots of trips ahead :)

I'm very glad I booked this particular hotel. The location is perfect for exploring Oxford. The hotel had everything we needed and the staff were enthusiastic and helpful. We visited to celebrate a special birthday, the staff noted this and treated us to some extras. Thank you !
