There was coffee for us.
Had mixup in communication so no one was there to meet us. It was very dark and hard to find the property.

Kleines einfaches Zimmer unterhalb des Hauses. Sauber und alles was man für eine Nacht braucht. Es gibt noch oben (wahrscheinlich größer) im Haus und hinterm Haus (Bungalow style) weitere Zimmer. Trotz leichter Kommunikationsschwierigkeiten am Telefon hat das "Einchecken" gut geklappt, so waren An- und Abreise kein Problem. Es ist eine ruhige Gegend. Parkplätze sind auf dem Grundstück vorhanden. Um die Ecke ist ein sehr gemütliches und von Einheimischen gut besuchtes Local.
Gegenüber anderen Übernachtungen in Portugal scheint das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis nicht ganz gegeben, da haben wir woanders direkt an der Küste komfortabler inkl. Frühstück übernachtet.

We stayed in the little cottage at the back of the property - it had everything that we needed. Very cute little place. Perfect for one night. The washing machine was a bonus because we had been traveling for some time.

The bathroom was clean and modern.
That the acomodation was tagged as an Entire Home, but on arrival we realized that it was just a room with bathroom, even though it was advirtised as a full house. We were not expecting this and there was no effort by the host to understand our situation.

Everything was great!! The lady who welcome uas was super nice!! Everything very clean, wifi was perfect as well. Can only recommend!!

When i left.
The photos of the property show an open field and led us to think we would be staying in a isolated house. It happens that the open field is next to the house but doesn't belong to it nor you can make use of it.
The photos of the property are misleading. I booked convinced i would stay in the house shown in the property but ended up staying in a small annex in the back of the house. No view to mountain or any view that would make it worth as they advertised.
The annex where we stayed was clearly a kitchen and bathroom support to the main house and transformed by including a bed in the kitchen. The place is very small and after we arrived wenoticed that the photographer was very clever using the right angles to make it bigger. Even taking photos from outside the window.
In addition we were a couple with two dogs. Having in mind that the property accepts pets we couldn't understand why all the house area isn't fenced. We ended up in a situation of being all the time locked in this small annex with 2 dogs and having to take the car everytime we wanted to walk the dogs as in the surrounding area that was not possible as we were in the middle of the village. Not good.
The worst was that the all annex had no air exit. We slept horribly every night as there was a lot of humidity from our own breathing. Imagine that. I have photos of walls, doors and windows completely wet and dripping water in the morning. I talked with the owner about it and she said she didnt knew that it was like that but i find it strange as on the check in she warned us to open the bathroom window when using the shower or all the walls would be wet.
The quality of the pillows and bed clothing is very poor and seemed like very old.
I would very much prefer to recommend this property but unfortunately that's not possible. We felt mistaken and did not enjoy our stay. Clearly a case where the owner is more concerned with making money than with their client satisfaction.

Clean with all required facilities. Handy for main road into Santiago de Cacem. Nice quiet location and had views over fields. Nice oranges available when we arrived.
Access was bit tight for car, thankfully we only had a small car.
