Beautiful house in a fantastic location. From the restaurant you have the most gorgeous view over vineyards onto the lake. We were on foot so it was a bit of a hike up the hills but it was worth it. Unfortunatelly we didn't know that the restaurant was closed monday through wednesday when we booked. But the staff was very helpful. We got to taste their wines and it overall a quiet and special place.

We did not see a note befofe booking that the restaurant was closed foe 3 days during the week. We booked because we wanted to try it. So that was unfortunate

Staying at Villa Kabala is a unique experience that I can recommend to all who like the north shore of Lake Balaton and enjoy fine dining. The location of the property high on the hillside ensures it is quiet with an amazing view overlooking the lake. The kitchen is listed in the Michelin guide and lived up to its reputation - we had amazing meals every time we sat down in their dining room. Thank you Petra, Peter, and all the staff for making our anniversary stay so memorable.

Exceptional gourmet breakfast, beyond our expectations, made of the best quality ingredients with care. The staff (the owners and everyone) is so friendly, professional, attentive and kind. When you are there, you must try their lunch or dinner. The view from our room's and the restaurant's terrace is dreamy.

Rooms are a bit smaller than a usual hotel room, but the bed is comfortable and the space is utilized the best way possible.

The house itself is truly amazing from inside and out! The interioir design and atmosphere was amazing. The room was small but we had everything what you need for a confy long weekend stay
