Dianne the owner was a very lovely lady who spoiled us with a lovely homemade afternoon tea. Also her homemade breakfast was lovely every day 👍

Dyan the owner is a wonderful Host, and makes you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. Enjoyed chatting with her and her wonderful sense of humour! Her afternoon tea with home-made cakes are a highlight. So are the wonderful breakfasts, to be enjoyed either on the deck or on the private balcony of the room. The lodge has a charming feel to it and overlooks a beautiful green "mini jungle". It's within walking distance of the beach and the town. It's also at the start of a beautiful two hour hike to Palm Beach, highly recommended!

Dylan was so friendly and helpful. She made exceptional afternoon teas and breakfasts for us!

Bed very hard but a good size. As the Australian Tennis open was on would have been great to have had sky TV. Sports mad couple!

Muy limpio, dormitorio y baño limpio y espacioso. Había una pequeña nevera para poder utilizar. El desayuno incluido muy completo!! Y lo mejor de lo mejor, los dulces caseros que te dan a la hora del té. Fue una estancia excelente!!

Si hubiese un microondas disponible ya sería perfecto! Pero incluso sin eso la estancia fue maravillosa.

The location was fantastic, and the hospitality also brilliant - afternoon tea and the morning muffin were particular highlights (all home made). Directions and information provided ahead of time were really helpful too. We had some issues with our flights which meant we were delayed arriving and Dyan was very communicative and understanding. Would love to spend more time here when we come back.

The setting was lovely. Having a private balcony was a bonus. The location was great- close to the beach and Oneroa Village, yet secluded. Dianne was an excellent host. Breakfast was amazing and the afternoon teas were superb- fresh home baking. A very relaxing place to stay.

Difficult to find a fault.

We had an amazing stay at Punga Lodge! The location was easy to find and convenient and the views from our room were lovely. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Dyan, our host, was wonderful and took such great care of us. Breakfast was incredible (especially the muffins)! We would love to come back someday!

Dyan the host was amazing, exactly the perfect example to all other kiwi B&B owners on how to make giests feel welcomed and looked after. From her fresh home made baking to the way she catered for my GF and DF friend... just remarkable!

Not much to complain at all. The showet pressure could be a bit stronger but that is just nit picking now! Everything was just amazing!

The staff were excellent. Really appreciated the afternoon tea with superb homemade brownies and ginger slices. Location was good and the chalet was very comfortable

Diane was a very welcoming host and the location was very convenient for beach and town facilities. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast and afternoon tea were included and were very generous in choice, quality and servings. It was lovely to eat on the terrace surrounded by lush vegetation. Great value for money and thoroughly recommended.

Comfortable accommodation in lush, bush surroundings… with the most friendly welcome I’ve had in years and a wonderful, home-cooked afternoon tea daily. A short walk into town via the coast path and also near a convenient bus route. But the tea and the welcome, the banter with the host and the breakfast on the decking… hard to beat!

I loved that the breakfast and afternoon tea had personal touches, home baked choc chip muffins, Chocolate chip banana muffins were delicious!! Dyan the owner was a sweet humble woman who was gracious and kind while we stayed two nights there, recently She was also very mindful that my sister was on crutches and tried to accommodate to suit our room configuration She was also very informative prior to us arriving to the Lodge, as to alternative transport suggestions The spa bath is Devine and Hot and Private as well as peaceful Loved the beautiful vocal 22year old Family Cat Cookie and cute furocius barker Spud 😻🐕‍🦺. Felt like we were home away from All the Busyness Auckland has, so it was great to just slow it down and breathe easily for 2 x days Thankyou again, for your wonderful hospitality

We had a very nice welcome from Dyan. We enjoyed our stay overall, lovely location in the bush. The location of the 3 different units was nice and close.

the oven could do with a clean. we were a bit short on dishwash liquid the internet was a bit unreliable
