Location is perfect for exploring the peak District and the hot tub to relax in after a fun packed day exploring is perfect. We liked the fact the staff didn't bother us and we knew where to find them if needed. Fridge, freezer, microwave oven, two hobs, sink with washing up liquid a sponge and towel. Croc, glass and plastic cups available and everything you need to make some food. Was handy to save us spending loads eating out every day. There's a table and chairs to sit and eat at. Free WiFi and a TV with regular TV available and a dvd player. Perfect little get away.

The mattresses weren't the best. The main bed has these weird plastic things sticking out which you can feel when you lie on them. Although once asleep I slept fine and it didn't disturb me. The sofa bed mattress is very thin. It was okay for 2nights.

sofa bed was dirty when pulled out and broken so when laid on it folded back up shower didn’t stay up had to use egg tray to hold it up plastic cup left in the hot tub shed

it was a lovely place to stay for my birthday weekend. it’s a nice location just to chill. clean and tidy.

The shower door did keep coming off the tracks. but other than that it was a lovely stay.

could’ve done with more instructions on how to use hot water and hob. didn’t like having to disturb owner to ring and ask but he was lovely and very helpful anyway

the layout was ok.

The pod in itself was ok from a layout point of view.although facilities were minimal, no toilet brush and pots and pans were worn and tatty. the shower was woefully underpowered and the extractor fan in the bathroom was hideously noisy. The bedding had marks on it and overall it was not adequately clean at all. lots of dust fluff and cobwebs in and outside. we had to sweep the decking on arrival as it was covered with leaves and sticks. Our cabin was opposite some sort of storage area and facing were piles of carrier bags and tubs of cleaning chemicals, honestly not the best view. the hot tub gave me a rash and I honestly think had way too much chemical in it. also noise from the road was not the best
