We chose Cape Serendipity because of it's central location to the beach, bars/restaurants and the park for the Saturday night concert. It did not disappoint! We were pleasantly surprised at the spacious rooms, the lovely back porch, and how well supplied it was. Elizabeth was very helpful with several logistics as we prepared to ride our bicycles from Snow Hill, MD to Cape Charles for the weekend. It was a great value and we would definitely stay again!

We had a wonderful vacation in Cape Charles, we have been coming down for years, it never disappoints! The house was wonderful, had everything you need for a great vacation. The house was clean and had all the essentials plus, loved the front porch and back deck. The host was great, answered any questions or requests we had. We looked forwarded to another stay in the future.

We had such a lovely time staying at Cape Serendipity. The kitchen had everything you need to make cooking easy. The home is cozy and inviting. We felt at home there. Our kids absolutely loved it. It sits in the heart of Cape Charles, and the neighborhood is charming. We will definitely stay there again!!

We came for the Chincoteague Pony Swim and are so glad we stayed in Cape Charles. It was so charming we just wandered around Cape Charles on Thursday. The house is charming, every item you would ever need is there!! We stayed cool even is a heat advisory.

We loved this house! It had so much character, was very clean and comfortable. They left us some wine and coffee too! We had a wonderful stay and absolutely would return! Only thing I might say is this house is not baby proofed for a toddler. Our granddaughter was not crawling yet so it was no problem.

Well maintained old 1/2 house with nice amenities and thoughtful extras; ideal for a couple or small family with young kids. An easy 10-12 minute walk to the beach. The one bathroom is nicely equipped with both tub and shower, but it is just one bathroom and that may be an issue for larger groups. We were briefly locked out due to dead batteries in the keypad, but Property Manager Elizabeth came to our rescue and all was promptly resolved. All in All, Cape Serendipity was a wonderful place to stay for this couple and our two dogs!

The house is a lovely and quaint house with great accommodations for young children. The furniture is also comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch also. It was a very relaxed atmosphere. Being so close to the park is also a benefit. The caretaker was immediately available when we had a situation that needed attention in the house.

The house was even better than imagined, there was everything our family needed and it was beautiful at the same time. The bathroom being on the 2nd floor wasn’t an issue for our family. The living space is nice and separate from the bedrooms so we didn’t disturb the kids while playing games at night. We would love to come back!

The check in was very easy and property very clean. Unfortunately we had to deal with a leak from shower thru kitchen ceiling but a quick text conversation with properly manager allowed us to remedy it with a rolled towel. Very cute design decisions throughout led for conveniences. And it was fully stocked with lots of items that made for a comfy stay! We shared the duplex with my sister but even if we didn’t know the neighbors there were curtains separating the porch for privacy. Comfy soft beds and TVs in every room. Right near park! We would stay again.

This was our second time staying at this property and we really appreciated the new upgrades--outdoor table, new kitchen table, mini-splits in the bedrooms. The house has everything you need to entertain kids and go to the beach (sand toys, bubbles, beach chairs, etc.). It is convenient to everything in town and one block away from the park which has a nice jungle gym to play on.

Neighborhood and house were amazing. A little further from the beach then we realized. Next time we would rent a golf cart for sure . Only thing with very small children you have to be careful because they have ALOT of stuff everywhere . Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Cape Charles is a beautiful town and the owners of the house were great at communicating.

My little family and I really enjoyed staying in Cape Serendipity. It's such a sweet house and it was perfect for us! It even had a little potty seat for the kiddos. :) Hope we can stay again next year!

This is a great, spacious house in the center of town. We had issues with the heater and the owner was very responsive and got a service call in that very night. The home was well stocked with anything you might need. The water would not get warm in the bath, so if staying in colder months (like us) or for longer than a weekend, consider inquiring about that before your trip.

Had a great trip to Cape Charles. The property was exactly as described. For us, the front porch was the the highlight of the property. We were able to enjoy coffee in the morning and a quiet evening while reading. Inside, the mini-split A/C system kept the house extremely comfortable. The master bedroom has a very comfy bed and the kitchen has everything you'll need. The property manager is very responsive to anything you'll need. After staying at this property, it made us want to visit Cape Charles again next season.

The house itself is lovely, everything was clean and all the necessary dishes/towels/beach toys were there! The house is 5 country blocks from a very quiet beach with lots of space. We drove to the beach but there is plenty of free parking. The owner was easy to communicate with and the overall experience was just charming. If you are looking for a quiet beach getaway this is it. We brought 4 children under 8 and they were entertained the entire time.

This lovely place was just what we needed for a weekend away. It had great amenities for children and was very close to the park. The house was larger inside than we had thought and we loved the hospitality of the home owner.

Great property. Needs a second bathroom if more than 2 people are staying. We enjoyed our stay but it was two many steps for us older folks! Perfect for a family!

Clean, fresh, beautifully and lovingly decorated, this is the ideal setting for families looking to unwind.

My husband and I stayed for a week in this house with our son and his family. (4 adults, 1 two year old and one four year old and our elder Lab. I will honestly say that the pictures do not do this listing justice. It was really nicely decorated with tons of seating in the living room and front parlor. The eat in kitchen was very well stocked and the kitchen sink is vintage and totally awesome. The bedrooms were roomy and very well appointed. All the beds were super comfortable and made up with quality bedding. The bathroom is large, nicely tiled and the layout is perfect for kids and adults alike. The porch is a great place to have an adult beverage after spending a day on the beach or to just say hi to the neighbors. We love spending time in Cape Charles. The area is very friendly and super convenient for beach, walks, restaurants, shopping....the works. Elizabeth the property manager was wonderful and we'd gladly book again next time we're planning to visit the area.

Spacious, comfortable, very clean upon arrival, good communication, good response time, able to charge golf cart, etc. Loved our stay!

Elizabeth was so quick to return answers to my questions. There are so many extra’s at the house- beach chairs under the stairs, towels and linens, fans in the rooms and even shampoo if you forget yours. We had a relaxing time and will definitely use this house again!
