Nothing really. The room was really bad, no lighting, not very clean, uncomfortable, safe was broken, etc., etc. We asked to change rooms, and the next room they showed us was even worse. We decided to stay in town a few extra days, but changed hotels, thank goodness.

The staff was great. Any issues that come up they are more than happy to help solve the issue. The bar 2 x 1 was really good. They had a night with dances and that was fun. If you would like a luxury room then upgrade to the 4th floor. The room is luxurious and worth the upgrade.

There was a musty smell in the room when we first arrived. More selection in the buffet.

Playa Los Arcos was perfect for what we wanted. We were looking for a family hotel with a pool and beach access. The location was great, the room was sufficient. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the minifridge. Yes the rooms are dated and there is a bit of a must smell but that is was you are going to get with this kind of deal. The AC was cold. Daily maid service was awesome. I was surprised by the quality of the breakfast and dinner buffet. Any buffet that has made -to-order stations is a huge plus. The view from the dining area is excellent. We loved the beach service. The guy who handled the umbrellas, chairs, and towels was excellent and you can get food and beverage service.

There were more taxes added on to what i thought was the original price. The waterfall in the pool had a lot of mold. Otherwise I don't have any complaints. The hotel was exactly what we wanted it to be.

Staff were nice

The room we were assigned smelled so bad like mildew/mold it gave us all headaches. I knew something was wrong because they took us to our room and kept changing out fans. I tried to keep the door open hoping it would get better but it never did. We ended up having to move late at night to a different sister hotel

The staff was rude and they tried to kick my guest out. Most of the staff didn’t understand the policy in place. They tried to get one of my guest to pay more money when I already paid for them to be a guest.

No wifi in the room, the smell was super bad, the hotel doesn’t have parking inside you need to walk 4 block to park your car, if you need it in the middle of the night is inconvenient. The safe was not working, I had to change rooms but the smelll persist as well as a the bad internet connection.

This was my 3rd stay and I have another stay booked later this year. Excellent pool. Esteban at the pool provided amazing service.

Pictures are not accurate as to the property’s looks. Hotel needs big time maintenance. When approached staff regarding reserved room not being what was expected, staff did not offer to make it any better. We had to pay extra money to upgrade to a “superior” double room that wasn’t much better. I would not recommend this location.

The location of the property was excellent! You have your own private beach and is walkable to the boardwalk, bars, and restaurants. The pool was nice, and you have to check out the Mar Y Vino on site. One of a kind.

The only downfall to having the excellent location was that you could literally hear everything that was going on outside. We were on the top floor facing the street, and we could hear the conversations of patrons walking down the street. The walls were super thin, but overall nice spot.
