A wonderful short stay- a beautiful cottage and well equipped, with very understanding and kind owners. Lots to do in the local area- we could certainly have stayed a lot longer! The local area is beautiful, both children and adults loved it. Recommended most highly!!

Excellent, high quality accommodation in a marvellous setting. Games room great facility for some good old fashioned family fun especially when weather not behaving. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is due to lack of mirrors in the particular cottage we stayed in x

Location, accommodation, facilities and hosts all brilliant. Location, could be in the middle of nowhere, south facing patio, overlooking the pond, fields and countryside, only 5min drive into Wirksworth, with a well stocked co op, or 5mins to Carrsington water, for walks, bike trail, restaurant and cafe, pay to park or walk from cottage across the fields. Accommodation, we stayed in the Derwent cottage, 2 downstairs bedrooms, one loft room with restricted headroom and a little warm, beding and towels excellent quality, comfortable seating, good cooking facilities and equipment. Facilities, the games room is such a bonus, young and old can enjoy the table tennis, hundreds of dvds, books and games and the more energetic have the tennis court to use, all set in the fantastic grounds of the hall. Hosts, Tim and Joanne couldnt have been better, friendly and helpful,a lovely couple.
